Daemon keeps getting in a bad state where it stops downloading new blocks. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue. Working on a work around to kick it automagically
if we could automagically get the BTC market and the better service that would be great!

Have seen a deletion of peers.dat clear that up.
Delete your peers.dat and download zeitcoin.conf and use it to get your wallet connected to active wallets.

Then restart daemon.

Thanks for communicating mullick and I sincerely hope this is the problem and it will finally be resolved.

That said...holy crap man. I had the latest version of the wallet running for a few hours before I realized it was borked and reverted to stable. There are issues posted on the github and they've also been discussed on this thread. The automagic work around folks favored was to restart regularly, which isn't much of a solution.

Hey folks  Grin

Probably time to remove the [HAPPY BIRTHDAY] from title  Cheesy

Care to check out ROKOS over at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1084908.0 .. made by OKCash/PIMP dev for staking OK but can add other CCs.

RaspberryPi OK O/S ..  Cool

Been a fan of OK since January, dev is great and is probably willing to work with Zeit on possibly adding Zeit on the O/S or something. Dunno .. worth a look Ray.

Coinmarket Cat prowls once again.

Actually Ray has already been looking into it and authored some code updates.
But I don't know it's current status.

why Zeitcoin and Rddcoin  are still so cheap?

Can't speak for Rddcoin,

These are my personal views.

Price of Zeit is so cheap because it started with such large quantity and high interest rate. So Short Sighted Miners sold it almost into destruction in its 1st year. Basic economics ,too much supply for too little current demand as few realize what Zeit will eventually become.

But Zeit survived and has been gaining strength as people realize the potential & advantages of this coin, its speed being a major one as it makes litecoin look slow. Plus we are not hurt by the Proof of Work economics , where it becomes unprofitable to make more. With Zeit the more you own , the more you make, but our interest rate drops to 15 % next year and then down to the final 5 % rate the year after. Our coin will become worth more every year, (as demand increases and supplies shrink) , starting since 2015 and will reach a new high when we have been in 5% rate.

One way to recognize the reason for the inevitable price increase, is the fact that unlike bitcoin or litecoin, all money spent to become miners/stakers will flow directly into the price of zeitcoin and increase its price as more people wanting to make a living from staking zeit.
In Contrast , all of the money spent to be a PoW miner for Bitcoin and litecoin only makes the asic designers money, most people mining never even break even.
That is where Zeit will outshine them all and become a true valuable resource for the Global Population.

Having problems compiling Zeitcoin on an Odroid C1 (quad core ARM).

odroid@odroid:~/coins/zeitcoin/src$ make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=- USE_IPV6=0
makefile.unix:161: *** missing separator.  Stop.

Line 161 is:  $(CXX) -c $(xCXXFLAGS) -MMD -o $@ $<

An earlier version of the makefile/source from a couple of months ago builds cleanly, so long as the -msse2 option is deleted (not supported on ARM)

Don't know anything about GNU make, but perhaps the diff between the "old" and current makefile.unix may help figure out the problem...

Code:
8a9
> ARCH:=$(system lscpu | head -n 1 | awk '{print $2}')
92a94,96
> ifeq (${ARCH}, i686)
>     EXT_OPTIONS=-msse2
> endif

< xCXXFLAGS=-O2 -msse2 -pthread -Wall -Wextra -Wformat -Wformat-security -Wno-unused-parameter \
---
> xCXXFLAGS=-O2 $(EXT_OPTIONS) -pthread -Wall -Wextra -Wformat -Wformat-security -Wno-unused-parameter \

Hmm ,
Not familiar with Linux or Odroid  ,  Tongue

Just guessing but you could try an install from this point in the tree
https://github.com/zeitcoin/zeitcoin/tree/6c7f7d0ca3317e6b2d33999e62145b4f21ac68c6
or
https://github.com/zeitcoin/zeitcoin/tree/b06396ffd8c84d86db048dc453b40a023bce8705

And see if either install works for you.

If anyone has already installed zeitcoin on a Odroid ,
please post what point in the tree did you install it.

Thanks.

Mint peaked at 40 sats without a real dev and historically Zeit is about 50% of Mint price. I'm thinking someone will pump Zeit to 20 sats within the next 30-45 days and it'll go back down and stays around 10 sats  Cheesy
