Make sure Zeitcoin is closed
Go under
c:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin (for Windows) or in the Zeitcoin data folder for other OSes
Then Delete 5  files :  .lock & blk0001.dat & blkindex.dat & db.log & debug.log
Then Delete 1 folder named : database
Then Unpack and copy the files from ZeitcoinBlockchainSnapshot into
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin
Then open Zeitcoin and it will start syncing the BlockChain from the last snapshot.

(Takes Between 24 to 36 hours)
After Downloading the snapshot.

Make your own Bootstrap.dat
COPY /b blk0001.dat bootstrap.dat

Make a Zeitcoin folder under C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\
Copy the bootstrap.dat file in the folder c:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin (for Windows) or in the Zeitcoin data folder for other OSes. Run the Zeitcoin software to import the BootStrap , once finished it will then begin synchronization to retrieve any blocks found after the Bootstrap was created.

Once your Zeit Wallet is completely Synced.
Check your Balance, if the Balance is incorrect.

Click on Help, click Debug Window, click Console,
type in repairwallet and hit enter, then check your Balance

If Balance is still not correct.
Then From a Command Prompt run zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan  
will take a little while but should correct your balance info.

Updated one of my wallets to v2.0.1.7 - used blockchain snapshot and it synced in 10 to 15 minutes, maybe 20 wasn't really timing it, but it was a LOT faster!

Awesome! Been away from the thread for a few days now and come back to some amazing things! Just did the wallet update and it is synching up as I type. I chose to go the snapshot route because I will be leaving for work in a couple of hours and wouldn't be able to babysit my laptop.

Looks like I missed out on something about a Presstab? I'm not sure what that is, so I will have to check it out. But from the excitement level and the number of people who jumped onboard with it, it must be something good.

And look at Zeit taking off! Slow and steady rise is what we all like! Good things come to those who wait holds true here.

Now, the other day I was in Yobit talking Zeit up in the trollbox. Before I started mentioning Zeit I saw that we had a decent size sell wall at 8 satoshis there. Not long after I was talking about Zeit I saw a 1.5million Zeit sell wall come up at 7 satoshis. I'm not sure what that was about, but I didn't have enough of anything there to make a purchase and try to put a dent in it. A quick check on coinmarketcap shows that Yobit has the smallest dollar amount of transactions for exchanges we are listed on. Once everyone gets updated to the new wallet, maybe we should increase our market there a bit. We have benefited greatly from the increase in LTC, but I think we should still pursue a larger volume on the BTC market as well. Just my thoughts.

FYI:
Future reference even thru Zeit can send amounts larger than 10 million zeit at a time with no problem.

Zeit Coin Staking Tips

1. Make sure your PC's Time is correct.
   Ver 2.0.1.7 requires your PC time to be within 1 minute of correct time.

2. Amount of Zeit to have per block.
    Blocks with 50 thousand zeit per block or more will stake within 30 days
    Blocks around 5 thousand zeit per block will usually stake in 30 to 60 days
    Blocks of 2 thousand zeit and below, may not stake within a year.

Recommend merging amounts of zeit under 2 thousand per block to higher amounts.

Zeit Wallet response and feel are dependent upon individual CPU & Memory Specifications
But if your wallet feels unresponsive and you want it to be more responsive and use less cpu,
merge your blocks , so that your wallet contains fewer blocks with more zeit in each block.

Zeit Staking Information
Blocks in Zeit wallets compete against blocks in other Zeit wallets to see who wins the right to stake (interest) every 30 seconds. Zeit uses Weight to pick the stake winner.

Weight is calculated :
Weight=Number of coins in a block * CoinAge

For Zeit CoinAge starts at 20 days & ends at 40 days,
Meaning if your block is 25 days old , then your coinage is 5.
For security reasons , CoinAge quits growing at 20.
So after 40 days your coinage=20 , but if you only have 500 in a block, then its weight is
Weight=Number of coins in a block * CoinAge
 10000 =  500  * 20

Since our blocks use weight to compete to see when we stake,
that weight is so low , it would be a year or more, before it staked if ever.
That is why it is recommended to keep at least 5000 or more zeit per block , if you want that block to be able to stake (earn interest) within 30 to 60 days.
Higher amount of zeit in a block like 50,000 or more will generally stake within 30 days.
