rough day for zeit. our strong foundation remains. dumpers a plenty if you want to pad your stack.
It's not just Zeit. EVERY LTC denominated coin has taken a "hit". Have you even seen LTC's rise? It's pretty insane, and there's a block halving coming up for LTC on top of that. But if LTC were to take a huge correction vs BTC (like, a 50% haircut or more because dumpers), Zeit will definitely see some big gains. Count on it.

Just tweeted to B-TER, using Ray's piece of art. You may help with retweeting: https://twitter.com/uqui80/status/619417842535018497Let's see, if we get noticed finally. Edit: I also submitted our Poloniex application. Let's see if they get back to us.

Holy cow the dump on LTC is real. Can't believe I am actually watching it live right now. And BTC is skyrocketing!

Now I'm real glad I kept some BTC powder dry.
Oops...think something bad happened to those ZeitCoin sell walls. Kinda funny that one guy and a silly craptsy bot can cut the price in half in a few hours.

That's what you get with markets with low liquidity I'm afraid. Really glad I sold my LTC for BTC when i did. Not sure when to jump back in tho.

Craptsy is as liquid as it gets in ZeitCoin markets though...yet one whale with a bot takes the entire coin down and holds it there by throttling that one market. I thought of it more as a problem with one market pairing on one bot infested exchange setting fair value for a coin. The Bitcoin pairings have held up and provided stability while LTC has undergone a 40%+ correction. I'm happy to take the liquidity off craptsy and add it to an exchange that gave us the stability of a BTC pairing.
I imagine I'd be rather annoyed if I had a Zeitcoin autosell running on craptsy the past 24 hours or so while the price has been manipulated into the ground at the same time LTC has skyrocketed and then crashed in epic fashion relative to BTC & fiat.
LOL
That craptsy bot is so dumb it's even dropping its asks while LTC continues to tank relative to BTC. It's selling into its own bids to tank the price. What a joke.
Makes you wonder how much ACTUAL ZeitCoin volume there is on craptsy that isn't just a bot or bots selling back and forth to themselves. Anyway if someone is so silly to make a ZEIT/LTC trading bot that doesn't monitor LTC/BTC or ZEIT/BTC at decent exchanges, I'll be delighted to wait for LTC to bottom and send the owner of that poorly written bot to the ZeitCoin poor house.

Well until LTC finds a bottom, expect more of these shennanigans to go on. BTC is the place to be right now until then. After that, there are plenty of alt-coins to buy for cheap, including Zeit.

I believe the LTC correction is nearly done, you can already see the "bears"(who are really just BTC/LTC bulls in hiding) already losing their appetite for LTC dumping. The USD is cratering relative to even crappier fiat and that's pushing BTC up which is in turn lowering LTC/BTC, but it won't last. BTC has performed very poorly of late(SLOW) and it's really putting the wind at LTC's back. LTC is going to go back up nearly as fast as it dropped.

on the bright side wow check out that volume No kidding! ZeitCoin has over FIVE TIMES as much volume as the next busiest LTC pairing on Cryptopia and that's without craptsy bots to manipulate prices. If you REALLY want a good laugh look at the market history at craptsy's ZEIT/XRP ghost town. A constant barrage of micro sells to suppress the price of ZeitCoin. Who's wasting their time selling 3000 Zeit at less than half market value? Right...a bot thats been built to suppress the price.

and to think ray helped them out the grave. No idea whose bot it is, but there's mass price manipulation going on at craptsy and anyone making their Zeit trading decisions based on craptsy trading history is making a mistake. That bot doesn't even look like it's written to try to stack more LTC.

So much fun this week with LTC pump .. (did I not say some weeks back??) Zeit held like a champion throughout, most impressive, until 12h ago. Which again, the LTC spiking to 0.033 (lolwut? 0.024 was target) took out a lot of buy wall .. so .. well .. thanks for the cheap Zeits today. I need to enlist our glorious dev into maybe agreeing to make EMC2 a wallet, as mentioned some months back. Perhaps a few mil Zeits can sweeten the deal?

Trading of Zeit only to lower its price hoping to crush it and dishearten it's community , not even caring if they make a profit or not. IMO that is either agents of the current monetary systems trying to destroy a new technology before it becomes too powerful and remove their control over the global community or as others have already predicted , the beginnings of the coin wars , where coin communities perform acts hoping to destroy other coins, so they will make profit by being among the surviving coins. As they will learn in Time, Zeit will be the last coin standing over all.

that makes perfect sense! Let's prepare accordingly: Last hours action show precisely why it is better to have one more bigger exchange with BTC pairing. We won't be able to escape bots, as they are present where the liquidity is, but at least we won't be pressed against the wall by one exchange that, I would like to remind, already removed us from BTC pairing once in past, without real reason.

As they will learn in Time, Zeit will be the last coin standing over all. Dude, it's not just Zeit this happened to, it's EVERY LTC denominated coin. Look at MOON, look at TIPS, we've seen the same kind of stuff. I honestly think it was just panic sellers flying to the safety of BTC. This happens in fiat money exchanges ALL the time! Also, if you didn't think there wouldn't be profit taking after how valuable Zeit became, you're kidding yourself. We went up to 8-10 BTC with the rise of LTC. Now we're, what, back to 5/6? After LTC took a 50% haircut? And no signs of stopping yet? Markets move other markets, and when you have volatility this is just going to happen. Nothing sinister going on here. LTC is just going through a pump-and-dump, and LTC dump isn't over yet (or rather, the market is correcting because LTC was EXCESSIVELY over valued). As a LTC denominated coin (and this is just the reality till people realize we actually have a BTC market), when LTC goes up we REALLY go up (as you saw on our market cap ratings). And when it goes down, then we REALLY go down. Eventually this "irrational" market activity going on is going to settle down, LTC will stabilize, then we'll resume the rise. These are just odd times right now. If you want to help Zeit, get some BTC over to Cryptopia and put in a bid order. We need LIQUIDITY over there more than anything else. If people just pay attention to the BTC market, and that market is BIGGER than all the other ones (not hard to do), then all the other markets will move in concordance with THAT one. There is SOOO MUCH cheap Zeit on the markets right now. THIS (or soon) is the time to buy. But I do agree, we need a large exchange with BTC pairing, or at least a BTC exchange people actually use.

Have to disagree with that part, A bot that trades for no other reason than to suppress prices even at a loss, , as Ray mentioned a DOS attack against the primary Zeit Website around the same time as an updated wallet is released , even the attack in the past few months on BTCTalk to try and access people's PMs and personal email addresses. If you see nothing there , OK. But just as no one believed Ernest Hemingway when he claimed he was being watched by the FBI, everyone thought he was just paranoid, for surely that was not within the realms of reason. FYI: In 1983 the FBI released a 127-page file it had kept on Hemingway since the 1940s, confirming he was watched by agents working for J. Edgar Hoover, who took a personal interest in his case. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/booknews/8614094/Ernest-Hemingway-driven-to-suicide-over-FBI-surveillance.html
