3 more group stage games, and yeah as big_daddy says also, these are where we can collect all the points because KO stages only mean 29 more games. Still not impossible for 10 point gaps perhaps, but I would say anyone who manages to come out on top 5 after group should probably be safely in the top 5 if they pick what most others do.

Not only that, the games get easier to predict as well. There is much less potential for upsets since all the teams that progress are usually well known and all the clubs start treating CL as the most important competition fielding their strongest 11 for every game.

I had a nice lead last year after the group stages and kept it all the way without any real pressure. Just played safe predictions.

Barcelona's match is going to be interesting. They are already on the first place and the qualification is almost assured so I think they're going to "reduce their engines" and we might even have a surprise on this one. Be careful.

It was indeed pathetic. A slow match with no move from the forward players. I lost my 2nd multi bet only for them. It was,
Liverpool to win
Chelsea to win or draw
And
Barca to win.

How in the earth anyone would thought that Barca will lose (Draw) the match against a team like Slavia?

I am sure you had a blast there. We could score more however good to have another win. We really played well and not to mention Genk team also did very well.

I had to leave at half time actually,,, the place I was watching had to close and so I only knew the results in the morning. What happened to Inter really? I guess they are not going to progress.

And look at the Chelsea group,,, 3 teams are on 7 points, and Ajax somehow still is leading the group. How are they going to survive without 2 players I do not know.

Now all eyes on Spurs.

It happens that Inter's players left the first half and never come back, there was no second half for the whole team

Some really unexpected results yesterday, Napoli and Barcelona are 2 of the biggest surprises for me. The leaderboard is so close, it's going to be fun.

Yeah we really should have scored 4 or 5, Salah is really off form at the moment isn’t he? Nothing he does is coming off. Another win though & as Napoli drew we’re top of the group now. If we beat Napoli in the next game we win the group with one game to spare.

Now onto possibly the biggest game of the season, City at home. Win & we open  9 point gap.

Yeah we really should have scored 4 or 5, Salah is really off form at the moment isn’t he? Nothing he does is coming off.

Yup, that chance when he cuts inside with a clear shot on goal from outside of 18-yard box really sums it all up. We were ahead, perfect opportunity for his leftfooted curl shot but he still did not trust himself enough to take it. He cut inside and wasted it and would have probably scored if he shot it early.

Our depth this season is good so it matters less, but it would be good to have Salah back to his best. He would have scored that with a blindfold in the last 2 seasons.

Chelsea vs Ajax sure...  Stopped my stream when the ball hit the keeper's face for the 1 - 3.  Lol.  Checked the scores moments later and realized...  Big mistake.  But how could anybody would've known?  I'll watch the replay later.

@examplens, was a good night for me indeed, but see what happens when I go against the grain and 2 games later I'm back in 10th!

But I prefer to suck in Superbru and win in betting;) Was so happy with my Ajax/Inter parlay at half-time, leading each game by 2 goals. And then we all know what happened haha.

Not quite sure what I'm doing tonight though, I've got 2 bets on underdogs =D

What a crazy game for Dinamo yesterday, we saw 6 goals and few turn overs. My bet both to score passed easy and early, just the way I like it. Too bad Dinamo didn't manage to hold on their 2 goals lead.

That was a crazy two nights, although I guess last night was more predictable. Only Atalanta was the surprise result for me, since all the big guys won last night (PSG were unlucky not to have a few goals for me).

I'm in 17th place now, I wonder if I should just finish off the rest of the group stages the way I have been. I actually follow some local picks here because he did well last season but blahblah:)
