You are not reading your gambling threads carefully enough, I am declared as "occasional Barcelona supporter but mainly likes to see good match with lots of goals" in Spanish League thread OP So definitely more of Barca fan.

That being said I am thinking City should get this but if Real progresses also fine with me if they both score a goal. I have a high stake ticket with both CL games as both to score so I am happy as long as goals come in.

I have over 2.5 on both CL games tonight, so, yes, let's support the goal scoring than and both happy

Isn't there only nine games left? If so,  that's a potential max 27 number of points. Bigdaddy is on 126 in first place so that's a 33 gap between him and me down in 13th place so impossible to catch him even if I tried. There's only 13 points between 2nd and 13th though so claiming a top 5 prize is possible for most of us if we do great and the ones above not so. I think bigdaddy has the number one spot in the bag though as that 20 point lead is nigh on impossible to catch even for examplens in second place.

Yup! I put it in the wrong thread but big_daddy is unasailable. Was virtually impossible to catch him before lockdown, but now out of the question. Early congratulations, guess he showed us who the big daddy really was huh.

As you point out, it's the best of the rest for us plebs and it's a lot of points for a lot of people. Smart move is to go with the crowd, but I'd like to get some distance early and then try to make up for it later if my strategy falls flat.

Anyway for tonight: not for Real or Barca, and have had to come up against both in the past 20 years, and have had Reds go to both too (Xabi, Macherano, I miss you guys) so of course it's sweet to beat them and I still want a rematch with Ramos, but I'm all about the odds tonight. Be nice to get in loads of goals but with the bois in white on top.

City vs Real could be a draw.  2 - 2?    

And if there's a reeeally good time for Napoli to beat Barca, it's now imho.  Injuries, Messi unhappy, and other problems within the club...

And I parlayed a little something on Juve to win ML and both teams to score for City vs Real at 2.38ish.  What do you guys think?

Anyone know when the line-ups get announced? They don't seem to have been yet. I won't submit my score until I see who's starting. I wonder if Bale will be on the bench? Real are stupid for not even benching him. They're also stupid for not loaning him out at least. Nobody is going to pay Bale's wages but I'm sure they could find someone to pay 10% or 20% of them at least and that's 10-20% they're saving if they have absolutely no intention of playing him. To be honest, if they're not going to play him they should just let him go anywhere that will have him. It's a damn shame he isn't playing football. He would be a nice addition to a team in the PL.

I am also feeling City and Juventus to win but in City match we are going to have over 3 goals also very good for bet because both will play some good attacking game.

@Trofo, my setup for tonight looked similar - some beer and two screens - one game on TV and another on PC. I'm still getting down in Champions league pool, so I don't pay that much attention to it anymore. But at least I'm doing well in gambling now. Champions league and Europa league was very profitable for me after restart. Now I'm just waiting for tomorrow and Barca's game. Though, I'm not very confident about getting through Napoli, considering how bad this season we are.

I cashed the parlay.  Yipeee.  Winning a football bet feels a lot better for some reason.  

Anyway what do you guys think of Napoli goinng thru?  Could they do a Lyon and take Barca out?  This is the best time to do it imho.

3 more points grabbed yesterday on 2:1 Juve-Lyon, over 2.5 goals on both matches -> won, a pretty good score 
and Juventus kicked out another time from CL, yeah, very good 

For today's picks I will go on 2:0 on both, I think that the hosts should easily win those matches and get prepared for the next round

That will be my main ticket for today also, Bayern and Barcelona to win, with a tot @2.38

By the way, anyone betting on the 20/21 prelim qualifiers in Switzerland? The opponents -- Tre Fiori, Moldovan maybe -- for the Irish team were 35/1 to win until Linfield managed to score just now. Looks like a crazy bet and I know next to nothing about them but the Irish boys don't even generally get past qualifiers even for Europa. Trying to find out how these guys managed to play, is this a new ruling or just I never was aware or is this something to do with Nations League?

Be cool if any of these exotic names make it to group.

@Trofo Sorry I could only say I know 3 of the bench. Fati, I will remember for a very long time because firstly, his goal in Barca's last group game which they didn't need to win netted me a big win (Barca were the underdogs against Inter who needed to win, 5/1 or 6/1 odds), and secondly because it was the last and 23rd goal of that night's game... which was my guess for total goals in a certain Sportsbet contest that got me to the Liverpool Club World Cup final;)

But the starting lineup anyway is, as I guessed, technically superior. Should have been 3-0 up. And Bayern, so far looking good for our parlays. Why did they sleep and let Tammy score before HT though? Damn.

Edit: Suarez penalty so Barca should wrap up the first half with 3-0. I have a reckless big ML bet on Barca so I'm happy.

Edit: Aaaand they gave away a penalty too, so 3-1. Now there will be a bit of pressure haha. Damn.

@Trofo yep I admit it even as Barcelona fan, I barely know it when people who have seldom appeared in the starting lineup are on the bench. But I guess many teams are like this especially those who even have B squads.

Well, I watch all games of Barcelona, but some of these players are not known for me because I don't follow our B team much. For example I never seen De La Fuente, Jandro, Mingueza and Reis playing. Current Barcelona squad isn't deep and yesterday we were missing many important players. So, it's nothing strange that just 2 substitutions were used .
