Was really shitty to miss the over 2.5 goals in all late games yesterday. I actually bet on Lazio to win, so when Immobile put in that penalty I thought I was back in business. Then both teams proceeded to not really want to win the game haha.

Shame about not betting on PSG. I know they had Neymar and Mbappe on the lineup but I thought United were going to smash it. Even an own goal couldn't help them.

I had both to score on United game which passed nice and early. Than I also had over cards, over booking points and red card in the game - wrote about this in "regular" CL thread. This one was a bit tighter fit but in the end Fred made sure I win all my bets on this game.

I am not often betting on cards so I was unsure about my over 4.5 cards bet but both Stake and Sportsbet graded it as won. I am not sure it would happen that way in all bookies. There was 3 yellow cards in the game, and then that second yellow/red card for Fred. I expected this counts as one card but in the end it counted as 2.

Glad I stuck to my guns on the away PSG win but it was risky. Shame I missed out on the correct score by one goal though. Not sure how Fred got away with just a yellow card for that pussy 'headbutt' players seem to like doing. Normally that's a straight sending off. I didn't watch the game but apparently VAR got involved and changed the card but didn't show that in the highlights so not sure if he initially gave the red or didn't give anything as it looks like he didn't see it. If he viewed it on the VAR monitor though I'm not sure how it wasn't a sending off. He got sent off in the second half for a second yellow but looked like he might have got the ball to me.

Was gonna watch the Barca/Juve games but annoyingly it's not on the German Dazn as apparently the German Amazon have first pick of one Champion's League game per round and of course they chose that one (why wouldn't they?). Gone for a draw on that game as it's hard to split. Will probably watch the Real/Borussia game tomorrow as Real are fighting to go through after fucking up against Shakhtar. Probably go for a draw on that one too but maybe Real should win it.

Draw's actually the best value for that game but I've gone and put Barca in a couple of parlays. Juve the slight underdog when I made my punts but I wonder if the bookies are underestimating how good their front two can be.

Zenit's leading... BVB are horrendous, I got a nice pick against them last week but I wasn't expecting them to lose AGAIN... I mean they'll probably be safe as I don't see Brugge scoring two the way they're playing (a rather dull affair playing out now).

Kinda given up on second guessing VAR now. I thought it was all about consistency now but there you go with the headbutt. Red card in some games, and not in this. Everyone including Ole said Fred was lucky.

I'm tuned into RB Leipzig  vs Man Utd as well and I'd have preferred Juventus vs Barcelona, but I'm still trying get a streamlink... Leipzig game has  kicked off beautifully too with Man Utd trailing by a goal.

While I was writing this they almost conceded another one. This could end really bad for them, if it does I can't wait for English press. They just love when one of their greats slumbers.

expected this from Manchester, it was clear when they lost in Istanbul that they would not qualify for the next round, it is just not enough to have a good match in group phase, you have to have at least a few, to pass into next round

Barca proved that they are really bad this season, but I am really sorry for Brugge, did not expected this match from them, but had 1:2 in the pool, they were good last night, but could not capitalize on that, nevertheless, de Ketelaere is getting better and better with each match

Yeah, 10 from yellow and 20 from reds (straight, not after 2nd yellow). So their lines are always from 9.5 in increments of 10, at least from Betbuilder.

Anyway, RIP United to Europa. They needed PSG to lose but they've just gone on a rampage now. Liverpool odds weren't so nice for me to go in on them, and they're now 1-1 from that Salah goal and conceding a penalty, seems like we concede penalties all the time now without actually getting booked.

It will be counted as 5:1 for sure. Maybe they just need a bit of time to change that result manually or something like that.

actually, I had some money on Brugge and Shakhtar to pass-through, similar stories, they both needed a win in Italy, and I expected one to pass through, more on Shakhtar than Brugge, but anyway

just look at Shakhtar, they have two wins over Real, two draws with Inter, and two loses from M'Gladbach, with ten goals conceived from M'Gladbach in two matches, isn't that strange or what? and for me, Shakhtar is better than Inter and M'Gladbach, Real is just did not get into right shape at the moment

How the hell did Man United get a penalty given even after a VAR check in the game on Tuesday? At first it did actually look like a penalty and a correct decision by the ref but with the VAR replays it was quite clear that the United player knocked them both down with a shoulder barge. Some balls on you my friend, well done on that. I've got them to lose their next domestic game against Lyon so I'm "happy" they blew off all this steam, hope it flattens them on the weekend haha.

Also, watched the video, and it does seem Demba's asking why he used a word that does sound like "negru". Reminds me of Suarez using a similar word, all of which means black anyway. I just checked booking points market and cards market on Sportsbet and you are wrong. Red card is worth 25 booking points or 2 cards, you are correct that second yellow is not counted. Therefore when one players gets second yellow red card he has actually collected 35 booking points or 3 cards depending on the market.

I was checking it today since a guy Spurs bench got a card (not player) and I wanted to see if it counts (it does not) and then I remembered our conversation.

Been a while. Looking forward to see Liverpool shrug off EPL woes and do well in this competition, I'm pretty sure Real and Barca will feel exactly the same. Even Chelsea. Redemption for one team, but Bayern still the clear favourites, along with Citeh.
