I invested $85 into ethereum yesterday and after couple hours I lost $10 ,,,does it mean it's not the best time to invest yet and secondly I'll like to ask if that amount is good enough to invest in such a stable coin
The amount is very small to invest in the ETH. Choose something cheaper, then learn how to trade first, since such coins are not suitable for a long time, and secondly you will find the perfect coin for yourself.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

If you have lost 10 dollars, this does not mean that this is a bad time to invest. The crypto volunteer market. Today you have lost 10 dollars, and tomorrow you will receive a profit of 100 dollars. You do not invest for 1 day, right?

Well crypto is volatile and it doesn't ensure you that it will grow in a short term
It can go sideways meaning up and down
Hence, as long as if you don't sell, you still own the exact amount of ETH
meaning no matter you buy 1 ETH at $100, $500
You still hold 1 ETH regardless of how the price moves

If only $ 85 invested in crypto, investing in altcoins or ICOs would buy more Tokens. And if you hope to invest in ETH to be stable and profitable, then I think you should research the cryptocurrency because the ETH rate as well as the entire market is never steady but constantly fluctuating.

$85 is enough to invest in ada while the price is too low for you to buy. You can get a lot of ada so you can hold it until the price increase later. You don't need to wait for a long time if you are okay to take a small profit because this coin seems moves to the green price so you can sell it to take a profit. But I don't think that you can get a profit by buying ethereum because ethereum still not stable and besides that, the ethereum price is too high depends on ada.

Everyone, too, needs an early experience, with such a modest amount of $ 85 is appropriate for us to experience and learn, so in my opinion we should encourage and guide him to trade . How to analyze a potential coin and their growth trend. These are the essential elements before entering into the transaction that investors need to have.

if you make an investment with a small fund, don't ever trade daily quickly, because that will only make you lose, do a long-term investment. even though the profit you will get will not be large because of the small capital, but it will reduce your risk of loss

85$ is very small amount to invest in.
Even if ETH will be pumped x5 from now, what result will be? 420$?

If you have small amount of money, I think there is only one right way you should try: invest in alts with very small cap.

85 USD in Ethereum is not a good investment, I think you can invest in low price coins. Ethereum is a big coin, so if you invest a big amount on Ethereum then you will make a good profit with the ETH price grows! As you want to invest 85 USD, then I would suggest you ADA, XRP, NEM, XLM, ZIL, NPXS Types low price coin. Good Luck
As long as you can make money out of your investment then you made a good decision, it is true that you are not going to make as much money as if you invested in other coins but it is also true that the risk that you are taking by investing in ethereum is very low, so as long as at the end of the day you have more money in your pocket then you made a good investment.

Of course, if someone bought Ethereum at the end of 2017 or at the beginning of 218, as well as about May 2018, then today their investments practically bleed the hope of good returns. But one should not be discouraged in this regard. Since the ethereum has very good prospects and, after scaling, the block is a chain, in any case, the investments will fill the capitalization with ethereum and this will affect pricing.

you invest on eth in june, and in that month the pricee of eth is about 450$ - $500
and now the price of eth only $200,, thats bad,,
i think its better to hold your eth or if you can trade, just trade your eth with ethereum pairs,, so you can increase your eth amount my friend
