Unfortunately, XRP is centralised by all measures (architecturally, politically and logically) in comparison to Ethereum. This compromised system only needs one security issue to totally collapse. In the short term, this might not matter, so take your gains while you can. But as a lasting solution, it is untenable and this will become apparent as the world learns more about blockchain systems...

Many people start to invest in Ripple instead of Ethereum. These 2 giants are fighting for the second and third place in the list. What do you think is wise to invest to?

Ripple of Ethereum?
Check out the charts in the past and make up your mind:

Ripple: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ripple
Ethereum: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ethereum

For me personally, Ripple is not a coin of interest. I think Ethereum has many more advantages and I would always choose it instead of Ripple. Without having bad feelings, I think Ripple will not be as "powerful" as it is now for future.

I definitely choose Ethereum. I am sure of the services of this platform. While most projects are based on the basis of the Ethereum. The reliability of the platform gives a good investment climate.

I don't know if a 10% drop within hours and a "good investment climate" fit together.

Ripple today gains 20 percent plus. Do you know why? There should be some big announcement from the team bwcause 20% a day in a bear market is not normal.

I think that Ripple has no big prospects on the stock market , despite the fact that its price went up. Prefer ETH despite the fact that its price is currently very small. Prospects and technological capabilities of the ETH blockchain has been proved by many projects, ico. Another big plus ETH is that it has no centralized control, unlike the XRP.

Ethereum is a better option to invest instead of Ripple because ethereum having too much potential to rise and i think it can gives you better returns as compared to ripple.

I wont mind purchasing both as both have a genuine future ahead. Swell may well be so costly couple of years after the fact.

Both are good but I prefer Ethereum to be compared to investing in Ripple. Because I still don't believe too much or know how to Ripple in the market. Maybe if I already knew that I would try to invest in Ripple.

I dont know if you guys have an in-depth knowledge about both projects, have watched videos about the future for the both projects etc etc, but I think XRP is going to start the next bull run pretty soon.
The state of ETH is really cloudy, as the scaling solution is still not proposed and people are getting already anxious about it, if there would be even a solution bout it. Ofc if everything turns alright, ETH may hit a couple of hundreds Cheesy

why not choose both? just because yesterday ripple overtook ethereum, that doesn't mean ethereum is over. I'm sure these two altcoins will continue to grow. no matter who is superior as long as I can get a profit I will buy it.

I never invest in just one project. I think it is very dangerous. That is why I would invest in both coins at once, because they look reliable.

Of course Ethereum, i don't even perceive ripple as a cryptocurrency and don't like it. but it is only my opinion. But sometimes i trade XRP in both directions and it gives me a good profit, so you can try.

Definitely Ethereum. The XRP Token is not Ripple Labs and is only a token that is driven by buyer's bid and demand. In addition, Uitility tokens have no value, as they are used exclusively for money transfer. In addition, Ripple is centralized, has no mining and is intransparent.

I have both in my portfolio, however Ripple as a very low % compared to Ethereum because while I firmly believe that Eth is one of few coins that will continue do dominate crypto market, I'm not that confident with XRP.

Why choose one thing if you can choose everything at once? The etherium and ripple have their own tasks, and each of them is good in its own way. I like both, so in my portfolio there are coins of both projects. I also want to note that investing in a ripple is now much more pleasant than on etherium due to the fact that the ripple grows in price better.

Ethereum and Ripple are good coins for investment. I keep them both for investment. Ethereum is good for long-term investment and Riplle for short-term.

Ripple has a lot of coins and it would be near impossible to invest in that coin and make anything.

I already do not know where to invest better money, because any coin can shoot up, it all depends on the big investors and the news background. But there is a way out - invest in both coins and the growth of one will cover the losses of another!
