Bitcoin SV and the roadmap to Genesis

The Bitcoin SV (BSV) project continues to do what no other blockchain thought possible—scale on chain in a massive way that puts it in line with what is seen by the world’s major credit card companies. The project has been steadily working on different aspects of the “Roadmap to Genesis” and Steve Shadders has issued an update on the progress. To say that BSV is capable of doing what no other blockchain can do would be an understatement of epic proportion.

According to the latest information, the roadmap from last August until the second quarter of this year has seen all of the items fulfilled, or close to being completed, except for one, parallel block validation. This was put on the back burner in favor of other network improvements that were expected to provide a greater return on investment.

Coming soon will be a network upgrade called Quasar. It is currently scheduled for July 24 and centers on increased scaling capabilities. According to Shadders, “We have previously signalled an intent to raise the cap to 512MB however after consultation with the Bitcoin Association (the owner of the Bitcoin SV project) and miners representing a significant majority of hash rate it has been decided that the Bitcoin SV software will implement a default of 2GB in July.“

The logic behind the increased default is simple. By raising the cap, and allowing miners to set a limit of 512MB, the network will be able to see more scaling as it becomes necessary without having to introduce additional upgrades or forks.

The next big upgrade following Quasar is scheduled for February 4, 2020. It will provide a number of protocol restoration changes designed to return the network to the original Bitcoin protocol. It is aptly called Genesis and is scheduled for “11 years, 1 month and 1 day after the original Genesis block.”

The announcement continues, “The Genesis upgrade will also address scaling. We believe that by late in 2019 the Bitcoin SV node software will have implemented all of the safety mechanisms required to allow us to eliminate the block size cap altogether and let miners manage it without intervention from developers. So long as those changes are completed we intend to bring the planned date for allowing unlimited block size forward by almost a year and lift the cap completely in the Genesis upgrade.”

Unlike blockchains such as Bitcoin Cash that allowed developers to make all the decisions, BSV is publishing data in order to receive community feedback before moving forward. This creates a completely transparent network that is truly decentralized and built by the community, not by a few individuals who want to control the entire ecosystem.

I am taking a risky long here at 0.0105 BSVBTC, looks like there is some support at the 0.01045 area since it held 4 times and given the amount of massive shorts open for BSV, I am thinking we might get a short squeeze.

The shorts went from 6K to 24K in a very short while, the funding rate is very very high and will cause some squeeze. The market depth is pretty small for BSV at the moment and hence why it gets these nasty spikes from time to time.

Bitcoin is bitcoin. It's the first and the most popular cryptocurrency in the world. BSV is a fork of a fork. It's a less popular version of an altcoin created by Roger Ver. It doesn't have much in common with the real bitcoin. This is the greatest difference between them.

BTC makes the network faster and cheaper by adding a network outside the chain. BCH wanted to make transactions cheaper by increasing block size. SV is doing a similar thing but increases the block size even more. Both BCH and BSV weren't popular for transactions even when BTC had no LN.

The price dropped because of the stupid trolls and ceo exchanges that took a stand against Craig Wright the Chief Scientist for Nchain because he claims to be the inventor of Bitcoin before the Market Regulation Commission and the CFTC Court of Justice, he said he will prove it when he is ready, at his own pace.

People are impatient and do not understand... And then they may be afraid of what he doesn't know as mentioned above.

But above all Mr. Wright seems to and attack for defamations in justice court against people... and Craig Wright receives threats against he and his family result > defend himself and his family. + The fact that he offered a bonus because he searched for a person with tattoos. the goal is to obtain the identity of the tattooed person so that he can sue him after a lot of abuse he has done.

... Of course the tattooed guy deleted profil, video and his messages several days later to avoid leaving a trace.

The crypto sphere and its trolls of deep morons and bots have joined forces to make shit..... the ceo Binance have taken sides at the expense of caring about their duties to their customers.

This is an example of a nervous breakdown of the ceo de Binance that had the effect of go down the price and it seems it as a manipulation according to some...This is yet another proof of courage and honesty from this wimp made in china.  here is a screenshot

There was Binance and Kraken and then ShapeShift..... What they forgot in their pissing equations... is that in anticipation, the miners boycotted the exchanges, so they will lose a quarter of their turnover. The common point with all these exchanges is that they all have some issues with the law, others don't even have a license... well, some others have a strange volume problem, I read wash trading on the networks... Kraken's ceo and others followed in monochrome testicle slurp, they drank it all seems it... without flinching is Cuckolding crew... that will lick faster in the cryptosphere is very common !

This is the little story of why the price has gone down according to my interpretation.

The BSV Roadmap is updated, imminent launch of a DEX Bitcoin SV exchange, op_return works very well just like handcash, as well as the Bottle blockchain browser, other surprises will come including Metanet and finally 2GB block planned this summer + this means that the blockchain should be able to handle a lot more transactions in volume. and legally BSV have several international patents of Nchain Holding (Bitcoin Satoshi Vision BSV) applied to all Blockchains competitors and also holder of the world record for huge, maintained and stable blocks.

Purists like me appreciate the innovations and admirable work of all these known and shadowy stakeholders who provide a result to bring their ideas and advance research on the blockchain. The group is identifiable men and women who work at all times.

Everyone is free to think and act, I chose BSV because it is concrete. It evolves and has an ecosystem and the technical visionary of the world in this space. Also favourable to companies and regulations.  

Another personal point of clarification: I cannot afford to buy BSVs because I have to deal with health problems and to tell you the truth, I am very far from having the financial means to have my surgery, but "c'est la vie". Understand that I have no financial interest in BSV but I follow them and I assume my choice without regret.
