ANNOUNCEMENT

We have posted an updated Windows Wallet.  Please update!  You can find the new wallet on the website.

MAKE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR WALLET BEFORE UPDATING!

This update is cosmetic only and addresses a replacement of uppercase wording that appears in a pop-up when encrypting your wallet.

We have also posted the sha256sums for the wallets on the website directly beneath the download links.  PGP Keys will be added as well.

Does this mean the password we typed in when encrypting our wallet was modified by the wallet?

No, your password will be whatever you made it when you encrypted.  The wallet encryption process is perfect and no passwords are modified by the wallet or anything like that.

The update is referring only to some of the pop-up text that comes up during the encryption process.  There was some uppercase wording that we did not like so it was replaced.

GUNCOIN has really had solid volume on Bittrex. Great to see for such a new coin.

Spread the word folks, more people need to know about this coin.

There are a few individuals selling items for Guncoin but no physical stores yet.  We are definitely working on that.  Getting together a fairly large advertising push at the moment.  We will have more details on that in the very near future.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Nationwide Guncoin Giveaway

We are looking for some folks in both the "firearms" and "cryptocurrency" communities who are interested in Guncoin and want to help us with a USA nationwide Guncoin giveaway!

The purpose of this drive is to get some Guncoin in the hands of local gun store owners all over the USA for them to give away to their customers.

We would like to get 50 trustworthy people who are active in their communities and can go to two local stores that may be interested. We will send each person 100 paper wallets containing 10 Guncoin (GUN) on each wallet. The goal is to spread awareness about Guncoin to both the firearms stores and the customers.

That would allow 100 gun shops all over the country to get 50 paper wallets each to give away for FREE! In addition, they can learn a little about Guncoin in the process.

So, if you are interested in helping out, please PM us here with your city and state or send us an email to: support@guncoin.info

You might want to check with the guns subreddit, it's a very large firearms/2nd Amendment gathering on Reddit. There are some FFL's there as well. But don't post this message without contacting the mods first, I don't know their stance on cryptocurrencies. People there can be a peculiar, but very knowledgable, bunch and doing this the wrong way might rub them in the wrong direction.

location of the subreddit : http://www.reddit.com/r/guns/

I am not in the US, otherwise I would have gladly helped out.

Anyone else notice the Cryptexplorer block chain explorer listing is off? The transaction list for 1 of my addresses has transactions that are not correct and the balance is not right.

From what I have seen All wallets looks ok... Not sure If you have any premined Guncoins in your wallet but if you do.. when I tracked the premined wallet as it handed the coins out... I noticed that every time coins are  send out from a premined group of coins It makes a new wallet... so you may see coins leave your primary wallet address total and move to a new wallet address... you still have both addresses (keys) in your wallet client they are just separate... I hope Im explaining this properly... It can be tricky to type this out rather then a sit down... If you need more help Just PM me with your wallet and I can look in to this for you and give you a more personal explanation of whats going on with your wallet...
