As of this morning, we have begun a couple different advertising campaigns utilizing Social Media, Google and also a few crypto websites.  They will all be in full effect before the end of the week and should bring some good attention to Guncoin.

Ever think about pitching to the NRA? www.nra.org That would be a great platform. I'm sure that would be a great way to get the word out and get some publicity.

The great thing about this idea is it will draw interest from people from outside of the cryptoworld, as well as raise awareness for cryptofans that aren't gun enthusiasts.  I am the latter, although I don't own any guns I am totally for the constitution, which means I am for people being able to own guns and be able to have the opportunity to purchase them freely and without hassle.

another good way to try to get the word out is contact devs who have attracted media attention and ask how they did it. Payu Harris, creator of mazacoin ( I know its not a great example because the coin is tanking. I think it has a great deal with lack of community, and lack of communication from devs) despite his shortcomings, he was able to create a LOT of media attention, probably the most aside from bitcoin and probably even more than dogecoin. Maybe you can find a way to contact him and ask advice on how he went about it. I'm sure that he would be happy to help, he is a huge crypto enthuisiast and activist, and maybe you can give him some advice on being an active dev and communicating with fans lol

I think Guncoin needs more representation with using more credible exchanges. Bittrex is great but what about Cyrptsy? Swaphole and Allcrypt and Coinswap aren't very well known.

Also why not contact some people that would really be able to boost the coin like Sarah Palin or Ted Turner?

How about a "Share" campaign through Twitter and Facebook.

I feel the most important of these is the EXCHANGES/b].....immediately/b], this is what is holding the coin back.

it takes a while to get on an exchange like cyrptsy or mintpal.

bittriex is a credible exchange.

Yes Bittrex is a very credible exchange but I kind of agree with Ganrom. Having the coin on Cryptsy and Mintpal too, it can help a lot (maybe even Bter).
But it's clear that devs are working on multiple tasks and now they're probably focusing on campaigns. Maybe someone experienced could step in and comunicate with them to help about this exchange-matter? Whatthefug proposed something like that too in a post before, didn't he?

Yes, for Cryptsy, Mintpal and Bter go ahead and open a support ticket to request adding Guncoin(GUN).  There is no harm in posting in their bitcointalk threads as well.  If we all keep asking, GUN will get listed.
