Can you post anything to make me see its release...or its "anything" (I can't find even a wallet address either) ? xD I feel so dumb: I can't find it LOL just freemasonry speeching around bitcointalk and twitter and stuff like that.

Anyway, GCoin won (what a little funny coin xD) but GUN keep the votes, doesn't it? I think it will win next tuesday mmhmm?  Grin

EDIT:
I finally found it...I think it was AskCoin's mistake xD during voting, if you have tried to click on the name "GCoin" it opened the freemasonry-coin-page (very very very LOL); now that's the winner coin you cannot click on name "GCoin" anymore...there is a link to a Forum and, from that, you go to a very different coin...something about slots and casinos xD

EDIT 2:
Yes, you can read on their forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=665858.480 that this mistake pissed them off too...at first (damn askcoin buhuahah) Cheesy

ATTENTION      ATTENTION        ATTENTION
OK it does appear that a lot of the people that were voting to the GCoin were from two camps. One coin has not even been launched yet and they were huge contributors!!!! ASKCOIN made a huge mistake. Mass confusion. They may have won by having two sets of voters. We need to contact ASKCOIN and complain .!!!!

They need to correct this huge mistake.

I think TEAM GUNCOIN should be filing a complaint here, don't you. I know I'm really P...O...ed.  Every ten minutes for hours on end with a partner. Plus if you purchased votes, it took i hour and 5 minutes for 6 confirmations BUT at the end of the evening it took almost TWO HOURS by the time the voting ended we only had 5 confirmations. Then twenty minutes later the 6th came in. Can anyone say rip off!!!!conspiracy!!!!!

Ok I'm just angry and very tired. Hopefully Askcoin will do the fair thing and put Guncoin through since it is a launched coin and not in a mining phase.

If askcoin will take donations of bitcoin to count for votes, I wonder if they will take donations of guncoin?  I can spare a coin per vote to cover a thousand or so votes..   Grin

Holy cow, am I the only one that has noticed we just voted in the wrong GCoin?!

GCoin won on AskCoin, but NOT our GCoin Angry

This really sucks!  How did we all miss this before?!

Was wondering when the first problem would surface with the dupe name, makes sense I guess it was with an exchange.

Oh well, small bump in the road.

The reference to the link to the forum?

Could it be AskCoin that made a mistake

CHECK THIS OUT!!! ABOVE> TWO SETS OF TEAMS VOTING FOR THEIR COIN< NO WONDER WE LOST!!!!!

Now I am really getting ticked off. Monday night was a huge disappointment. Not only had we been begging for others to help but we sat for days voting every ten minutes.  Too many hours of it being just the two of us!!!

Where is the support here!!!! We even went to the extent of spending close to eighty dollars to buy the votes needed to pass the double teaming Gcoin.
Only to be short 1 confirmation at the end. (Which by the way took 30 minutes longer than all the other purchases made that day)
So the voting continues....

LOOK AT WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW!!!!

ASKCOIN.NET   THIS MORNING

From 6:30 to 9:00 am EST

Guncoin 2888 up 11   And guess who did those?Huh  2 1/2 hours and only eleven votes!!!!! COME ON !!! You just have to hit a button!!!!!!!

CDT       2023 up  58

FJC        1814 up  70

I have pages and pages of all the voting done for weeks and can prove where the action has been coming from. At this rate we are never going to make it PAST THE WEEKEND.
Ok if things keep going like this they will all pass us up soon. Who is going to BUY votes for us next week. I am really getting ticked off with not having any support from the so called Guncoin community. This is so bad I an about to kick the game board over.

Bleutrade is failing and so is Allcrypt. We can't even get on a new exchange by legally buying votes.

Someone better step up here cause we are tired of doing all the work here!!!!!!!!

THIS IS THE LAST WEEK WE ARE GOING TO SIT HERE AND WORK OUR ARSES OFF TRYING TO TRADE AND BUY AND VOTE FOR SOMETHING NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO GIVE A DAM ABOUT. WE CAN"T DO IT AND WE WON"T DO IT.

It is unfortunate that we were out-voted on askcoin again, but it happens.  You are not the only ones putting forth effort.  Granted, you put forth a lot more effort than many other folks here.  Keep in mind two things about Askcoin and the other brand new exchanges...

1.  The trading volume on Askcoin is nearly 0.  Getting listed there would be *nice* but it will not help Guncoin if there are no members on the site buying anything.
2.  Anyone can simply register as many accounts as they want to use for voting there.  This can be easily exploited, as is plain to see with many of the coins in the voting list there.

Bter and Allcoin are much larger sites with much greater trading volume.  They have many members who buy and sell on a daily basis.  These are the sites that we should be putting our efforts into, as they can really grow Guncoin.  Bter (can not pay for votes) currently has over 1,000 votes for GUN.

Bleutrade and Allcrypt are not "failing", because they were never "winning" in the first place.  Meaning, once again, these are sites with almost no trading volume, no really active members/traders.  Only a few thousand GUN has ever been traded on allcrypt.  Bleutrade has a lot of potential and we personally have been trying to push Guncoin more there because it is a nice site with nice admins.  GUN has been trading more volume than 90% of all their other coins, daily.  The issue still comes down to the fact that unfortunately, there are not many active users there to buy or sell.

There is no single answer or action that can bring us to the top.  People need to WANT to help.  While we have a few active supporters, we need a lot more.

Yes I agree, but to accomplish that we should "do" something. At least thinking (it never killed anyone  Grin)

I report the link of an interesting article posted on cryptocoinnews:
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/charlie-lee-litecoins-five-steps-creating-successful-altcoin/2014/07/19

I think guncoin has everything but a miner-attractive-thing.

Watching the going of others coins I'm starting to think: if you want to reach all the guns-enthusiasts you have to start to reach miners.
Apparently it's the way things works...first of all there is the miner, then everything else.
Miners make the coin live...and its worth becomes higher...and the value attracts people and they start to invest in it.

The problem, I think, it's that when you talk about guncoin to someone and you tell him its "actual value" you don't light interest.
When I speak about bitcoin and say "One bitcoin now is at 620 dollars" I can see the "flash" in other's eyes.

My personal opinion is not to keep going to work harder and harder like Ganrom. He's a fucking hero, no doubt about that. But I prefer a Ganrom at peace with his mind then having an angry hero who may will leave our community. He's a column and I'd prefer not to lose him. I'm not saying we shouldn't keep voting and other things (and Ganrom is right when he writes we...we should vote a little at least xD I work like everyone else but still in those few days I tried to help him...obviously not enough lol);
my personal opinion is a) attract miners or b) hard pushing and reaching "True Gun People" (VIP, associations, facebook fans, etc.)
With option "b" I mean that if, somehow, we can have a really good marketing campaign, we can ignore the miners-attractive-factor.
Without option "b" I think we need the miners-attractive-factor...or at least something else "tech-ish" (like the coin you can use to pay instead of bitcoin...I don't remember the name but the idea was cool)

Cryptoworld is made of "Crypto"...it's tech...algo...miners...electronic stuff  Cheesy LOL

@Ganrom
I think...that crazy people of the free-masonry-Gcoin didn't vote.
I think complaining with askcoin is not something we should count on...I'm just trying to imagine the situation...I think that someone on Gcoin(the slot-machine coin) wrote to Askcoin to add their coin to voting-list. They did it but they did a stupid research (exactly like I did xD) and they put the wrong link...but we all know that the free-masonry-Gcoin wasn't launched yet...I think no mason voted just because I don't think there was any them who knew about that vote (how could they possibly imagine that their coin was listed even if it wasn't launched yet? Cheesy).
Now...maybe I'm wrong...but I think it would be really really strange even if ONE vote was from free-masonry-GCoin...but still...maybe I'm wrong and there are lots of crazy people out there who spend their time looking for voting-events even when their own devs don't know Cheesy (and free-masonry coin's Dev doesn't know a lot of things...he doesn't know the algo yet! buhuhauhahhaha xD xD xD)

Anyway, thanks for the huge support Gan!

Unfortunately it's not easy for everyone to keep voting every 10 minutes..  I work 50+ hour weeks, with another 10 hours a week lost in travel time.  My offer about trading gun for votes is because of what I can offer, a few coins that my miner churns out without me paying a lot of attention to it.

And, once again, I'll throw out the idea of changing mining to x11 or something like that.  Not for the reason I brought it up before though, and not for pushing the anon deal..  All the new hot coins are coming out with stuff besides scrypt..  A pop in attention by making the change, can't hurt, as there's really no other gun news lately.

Also, IMO staying with scrypt at this point has a two-fold negative right now..  Miners that aren't asic are avoiding anything scrypt as they can't compete against asics, and asic miners aren't mining gun because there's no forward progress to make it seem profitable.

Trust me, I've got a couple megahash worth of asic now that won't work anymore if a switch is made, this isn't a suggestion made in my own interest for ease of mining.  It's shooting myself in the foot for forward momentum of the coin.

A couple other thoughts:
-if one block per hour had a random 2x to 10x payout, that would bring in some gambler miners
-I'd put guncoin stickers on my truck and gun/ammo cases if I could buy them, and wear a guncoin t-shirt, as long as the proceeds go to advertisement

Thanks Orzep for the compliments, but I/we are not trying to be heroes. But thank you for your kind words. We are not trying to be complainers or whiners either. This is something we are passionate about and had hoped that there would be a rallying cry for this coin in the crypto world. But that has not happened.

On the voting aspect. I totally understand that many are at work several hours a day and cannot vote manually every ten minutes or every hour. BUT if EVERY person voted when they could or even purchased a few here and there would add up. There needs to a a "RALLY AROUND THE FLAGPOLE" for the voting booths of this coin or we will be stagnated in the smaller markets forever.

Yes we are recently retired and have only been into cryptos for about a year and a half. When we first became acquainted with the currency there were only 34 cryptos on Cryptocurrency Market Cap. BIG changes since then. So although we are not new to this we are not really novices either. Crypto currency trading is a learning process and we have won some and lost quite a few, BUT when we find a coin we feel we can trust we throw our all into it. Guncoin is one of those coins and we intend to do everything in our power to help it succeed. Hhhmmmm maybe sometime we may be heroes, but until then we need to get a rally together for Guncoin.

I suggested to the devs that there be a "SUGGESTION BOX" so to speak for people to give ideas on how better to promote this. Being from an advertising market career ourselves we know the value of it. But what we don't know is the crypto world and how it does its marketing. On the outside we would have banner campaigns and flyers and ads. What do you use in this arena? That's an unknown for us.

To be brutally honest there are those in the US that want to kill the Constitution. The 2nd Amend is the right of the people that is most in danger. Even the United Nations is taking a wack at that one for everyone in the world. Just google it. The UN is passing gun laws for the world and the US is going along with it.  Many people do not understand the laws that are being passed, not to say that people are idiots but I digress.  You have to keep in mind that criminals don't follow the law. Gunfree zones are target practice for the bad guys not the good guys. There are those out there who do not like guns for any reason and we found that out just trying to get others to promote the coin.

Maybe because so many people do not understand crypto currencies is why we cannot get people like Sarah Palin, or Ted Nugent or the NRA to respond to requests for help. With this coin coming out of a territory that is infamous with hunting and sportsmanship it is perplexing as to why all the people in Alaska aren't purchasing the coin and blasting it across the airways.

Well, anyway, I/we intend to keep up the fight and try any avenue we can to get this growing stronger....hope you intend to help and get the battle cry out there....Thanks again.

GUNCOIN SUGGESTION BOX

Please reply by putting any suggestions out there that might help get GUNCOIN more noticed. Not just in the Crypto world but outside.

Suggestions could include, ideas for a slogan, flyers, buttons, stickers, T shirts.

Suggestions on who could help in a writing campaign, or blogging, give names of those you feel could be contacted.

Does anyone know of any State Representatives that have talked about or in favor of cryptos that could be contacted.

If there is anything else you can think of write it down. Everyone's thoughts and ideas are valuable.

and remember KEEP VOTING!!!!                   Let's get this done!!!!

Anyway, thanks for the huge support Gan!

If I could make a few suggestions that your community may want to consider.  While our coin is still cheap on exchanges, we are not terribly concerned with the prices and are really in about the same phase as GUN - stable coin looking for end-uses.   Some things we did the past week that seems to have generated huge interest in our coin that end-users (not crypto-currency enthusiasts) are now looking at are two things.....
1) We released our banner farm - over a dozen banners to promote our coin on many websites including non-crypto ones to drive traffic to our website and for potential end-users to put on their website who may accept our coin as a payment system.
2) We released our Users Guide - written to the level of the novice crypto currency user or some one total unfamiliar with crypto-currency.

You can get links to both of these on our website and I do not want to post links here in your thread.  We see both of these as useful tools toward educating and training the end-users and showing a level of support that very few other coins do.  Bottom line, it is something our coin does that VERY few others do.  It might be something else you want to consider to add to your list of tools and resources to help get GUN going stronger.  I cannot imagine walking into a gun store in East Texas and trying to explain to them why they should accept GUN instead of USD - getting over that hurdle would be a LOT easier if you could hand them a book or white paper that tells them all about it and how to use it - Just my 3 cents worth.  I can supply the info on the  guy who did our manual and can cut you a deal before he gets flooded with orders.....Good luck guys!
