Newspaper or news about Bitcoin plays a vital role in changing of bitcoin price I think. Because if someone wants to invest and at that time a bad news can discourage the investor.

I think they influence, but much depends on news sources. For example, if it is a specialized site about crypto currency, where now as we see good news, then it does not have much impact on the price, as it is not someone who is pushing it. That's when the news comes from all sources as it was in December, the price is flying up.

Lately I have noticed some good news and bad news about Bitcoin. Many people think that bad news will make the price of Bitcoin "go down" and good news will make the price of Bitcoin "Rise". So on this topic I would like to discuss "How much the power of news can affect the Bitcoin price?" I appreciate your answers and responses. Thanks  It really affect the market but in really short time, because people just FOMO. I think the real thing which make market price is when the whales make a move, it will affect market so bad and it will last longer than just a news |

In my opinion, newspaper and media don’t have that power which can affect on the bitcoin’s price. It’s true that after hearing much news about bitcoin, people may invest or sell the coins but it doesn’t have any effect on the price.

News can change only the mind of the people. So, the people can decide whether they should invest in bitcoins or not and that’s all. Sometimes it may have a great effect also. If the news publishes any fake news about the coins then the demand and the sell will be affected. It affects the price also.

I've always heard buy the rumor and sell the news.
The news can have a big effect on price but a lot of it is completely fake and its just used as another manipulation tools by whales to make massive amounts of money.

As you have said, bad news will impact the news negatively and bring down the price such as we saw with the ban or prohibition of cryptocurrencies by some countries, proposed cryptocurrency regulation and bitcoin ETF. On the other hand, good news will get people attracted to cryptocurrency and invest, thereby growing the price.

In my opinion, it is still the quality of news that really affects the Bitcoin price, fake news spread by fudders will not affect the pricing, the question is what is the news? where it came from? Is it real? Most news affecting Bitcoin price are those news came from the government, those news that really made against the Bitcoin like banning from a certain country, declaring it as illegal and the likes of them.
Oh, I think you are wrong here, infact FUDers can do a lot of damage in people's brains and affect the price. Mass media are doing ther job correctly and make people scared of Bitcoin. |

its up to the person if he/she will believe on the news or not but i think most people are already aware that most news on the internet are just hoax . thats why news do only have a slight effect to the price of bitcoin and other cryptos . market manipulation caused by whales are the only one that can cause huge impact from the price of cryptos . |

I think that influence of news on Bitcoin, especialy those from media and social networks is exaggerated. Actualy, users give too much attention to them, no matter how true and accurate are they. Still, manipulation is possible.
There usualy is some impact but because of users who in many cases act implusive but that is usual on a short term basis and effect is not that strong.

Thanks There's people who relied there judgement with news spreading around, positive one will bring hyp as fomo's start to buy in and ride with situation, while negative news will bring more whales to take advantage, knowing that weak holders will be easily being moved by fuds, though it shouldn't be that way, but things really work that way since people around are finding basis to take every opportunities that they will get in order to gain from this business. |

Not every single news can make an effect on the price of BTC. But the news from a trustworthy source like government or SEC bear a great impact on the price of BTC. Talking and criticizing news don’t have strong effect.
