Since investing in cryptocurrency is highly volatile and speculative, one big bad news can bring the price to go down, but what's really disappointing it takes a lot a run of big news to keep the price going up, but I believe even if there are so many bad news Bitcoin will still stay and move forward.

In my opinion, the news has little effect on the price of Bitcoin.
Recently, news about the attitudes of various countries towards Bitcoin was continuously reported. For example, Russian police have confiscated Bitcoin ATMs nationwide; on September 5, 2018, Iran officially recognized Counting coins are legal, etc. Whether the news is good or bad, even if the news relates to whether Bitcoin is legal, it seems that the price of Bitcoin hasn’t been affected.
Moreover, BTC has frequently experienced large transfers recently; and as of July 2018, 4 million bitcoins were lost in the Bitcoin network and 2 million bitcoins were stolen. These events are enough to show how attractive Bitcoin is, and its price cannot be influenced just by some news.

The media does have a quite a large influence on the price of BTC. For instance, the news regarding ETF did cause a lot of chaos in the market.

Usually the affect is only for short term, many FUD that spread and it's only affect for short term. News really influence market sentiments sometimes it makes me fear when the news is bad. I am still thrust to bitcoin because many experts said that this technology has good future.

Thanks I think it has a big and vast effect, especially if you're talking about how the value of Bitcoin, either moving up or down. I say that because of the idea that cryptocurrencies are not your usual and traditional currencies that has the typical movements and is affected by a several number of factors that could be somehow controlled by the government like inflation. However, for cryptocurrencies, every factor, like negative news for that matter, has a big effect because it reaches people quite easily, and it also affects how they feel on one topic quite quickly. Once they hear that cryptocurrency is bad, or it's bad investment like many business entities say, then it would prompt them to decrease their interests or totally avoid investing in the market. |

News has a strong effect on prices because investors react to whatever situation surrounds bitcoin and with good news comes high demand which drives volume and increases the price. the reverse is sometimes the case for Bad news.

The news that contains stories like a hacking of crypto exchanges, government action against cryptocurrency and other developments related to cryptocurrencies can affect the price of bitcoin. Fudders can also influence bitcoin with their own brand of negative stories that may pick up by any media without examining the source. The power of news is strong and many people tend to believe the news even if it is a fake.

Well, as you just saw CNBC posted some news which wasn't even that bad, and Bitcoin immediately crashed in value by 5%, and Ethereum dropped down to just $225 which is absolutely insanely low. I almost can't believe how far these coins have dropped, it's really not looking good at all for altcoins, and things even look bleak for Bitcoin. I really hope there are some positive developments soon  |

News plays a strong part in affecting the price of bitcoin. Good news will attract more investors and bad news creates FUD in the market. I think good news or bad news about bitcoin does not affect the price of bitcoin at all.
because bitcoin does not refer to this, the rise and fall of bitcoin prices is influenced by the big holders of bitcoin and market traffic.
What I mean is market traffic is how crowded and lonely a market is about buying and selling bitcoin on the market if the market is crowded I think it will affect the price of bitcoin.
I don't really understand how bitcoin prices can go up and down but according to my analysis like that.

In my opinion the quality of the news and the publisher as well as the background of the news is important. There are also a lot of fake news in the market. But what mostly affects the price of bitcoin is the hacks. If any hacks happened then we would see the price fall down at a large scale. Sometimes if any country allows crypto then we would see the price go up as well.

for now, News about bitcoin is very strong to influence the price of bitcoin. I think that is 80% on the news and 20% on the chart pattern. even for all crypto currencies is influential on the news. so the best information at the moment is reading a lot of news about crypto currencies.

News and hacking issue is the big problem for whenever we are seeing bump going in the market. However all the time bitcoin value will be find the growth and in that meanwhile these news making the big difference in the negative mate.
I need to advice the people to stay from few news mostly sharing the negative information only about the cryptocurrencies. In that CNN and Cointelegraph are need to be avoid more.
