you mean some altcoin that can give you high profits, but you can also lose all your money. So I think you'd better invest in bitcoin because it's safer. Seriously, if there is ever a time to invest in bitcoin, it's now or you may never have this kind of opportunity again. Bitcoin is wey cheap now, though, you can still invest in some altcoin as well and make better profit later. If you really think you can't afford bitcoin, i will advise you to go for etherum as an option.

I also think that you should, but don't put all your money into it just because some biased forum members are telling you to . Bitcoin is great and it's most likely going to double its value (at the very least), but it can take months or even years and it can hit 5k or even less before it does it. I think maybe you should invest right now why because the price is still cheap then last december. But first you must learn about how management risk (i wouldn't buy bitcoin with all in my money but with averaging down example when i buy  bitcoin now at $7.2k and then the price came down i still have money to buy at lower price so i can make double profit if the price get high sgain). And since dominance bitcoin now is over 53% it the best choice to invest at here.

You're right just because the price of a lot of coins on the market goes up then you say that the price is expensive and it's not time
to buy, you're wrong dude, if you see price changes some time ago you would think that buying right now is the right time, but font forget to research first where potential coin you should buy..

I would chose IOTA.  It has the possibility to be the biggest coin as the Internet of things expands and grows.  If you want to turn a small investment into a big one I would get into IOTA and stay there for a few years.

There is no next btc, it's very difficult for altcoins that will offset the price of bitcoin now. I guess investors who have been in bitcoin for a long time and they have big capital, will be very reluctant to invest in altcoins. Pump and dumps are common in the altcoin market and this is very risky to save money. I just suggest to you, buy bitcoin with the amount of money you have now, if you've seen the price of bitcoin in 2017 I'm sure you won't say the price of bitcoin is to high.
