We're sending them out in small batches over the next 1-2 months. We've started already but it can take a while until you get lucky and your address is in the next batch. We are doing it like this to prevent a big spike in coin supply.

When you destroy coins?

As I've said earlier, and via Twitter, and in the SpainCoin blog, the remaining 4100913.8 SPA from stage 1 were destroyed on 2014-06-09 20:26:18 UTC by sending them to an unrecoverable address: SPAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXRnqdYt.

No , actually if he would have bought at the moment the dev posted about the destroyed coins and sold 1 day after he would have made some solid profits.

I did this with the peseta coin rush a few days ago and now I am a bit pissed I didn't risked a few mbtc on the move from spaincoin.

I'm drafting a new, simplified plan for the remaining stages. The initial plan was not adequate so we raised the amount of coins per person and so on.

It could go like this:
Stage 1 (already over) 5M coins, ~1M were distributed, ~4M destroyed
Stage 2 began on June 10th, max 10M coins to be given away, excess coins to be destroyed like those at the end of stage 1.
Stage 3 to begin on July 29th, max 10M coins to be given away, half of the coins remaining to be destroyed, the other half to go towards the final stage 4.
Stage 4 to begin mid-september, giving away the remaining coins, until the end of the year.

There's a reason why the order depth reached 100+ BTC during the last pump and only 20 BTC were panic sold over the last few days since most of them are still hodling until the next stage
