spa.pool.mn invites you to mine SpainCoin! 0% fee!
At pool.mn branded pools you will enjoy 0% fee and 100% uptime as ~2Gh/s worth of miners all over the world do!

owner of this pool is a known scammer who ripped off many people on GNS coin by running off with 5 million prize fund.  He keeps making new accounts with new names to try and promote this lame pool constantly, be warned, use at your own risk.

Yep MN pools are a scam.
Not only that, after you register there you start getting spam and phishing to the address you used, and if you use the same address for other big pools you will start getting messages that someone is trying to hack your account.
Stay away from MN pools, anyone who says otherwise is the owner with a new account.

Thanks guys for your posts regarding mine!  Wink

The reason the price is low is because the coins are still easy to mine.  Mining at 10mh you can get 450 spaincoins, but only 41 vertcoins.  Vertcoin is at $1.70, SPA is at .17  I don't look for any big lasting price jumps until mining picks up and blocks get harder to find.  Thats my take on it, although I'm usually wrong, lol.

EDIT: I'm part of the problem. I cant figure out how to get vertminer installed and running on Ubuntu 12.04.  Sad  Last time I tried, I hosed the OS and had to wipe and start fresh.

Out of interest: form you guys who mine this coin, when is the expected difficulty going to kick in?

Question: If I already have cgminer running on Ubuntu, can I just download and install(deflate) vertminer in the same folder (downloads) ? And it should work with my ati drivers and all?

You need 2 thing, 4GB RAM MIN (or more if you have a powerfull rig) and compile vertminer with "ADL_SDK". If you can't compile it... i can do it via ssh for a cheap price in btc or SPA.
