All that means is that this other site is hosted on the same IP with the hosting provider. Any further investigation?

All that means is that this other site is hosted on the same IP with the hosting provider. Any further investigation? no, that IP is from cloudflare... it is not useful and has no sense to make a reverse IP lookup on a cloudflare IP... Cloudflare acts like a firewall... and hide the real IP of the web server.. more interesting info about cloudflare, here http://cloudflare-watch.org/someone living in the USA should try to call cloudflare... in fact, only cloudflare well know the exact ip address of the web site.. anyway I read on http://cloudflare-watch.org/ that cloudflare does not give ip to anyone...THE ONLY "REAL IP" WE HAVE IS THIS: mail.markets.cx ---> 46.22.211.182which is their smtp mail server, still working (TCP port 25 still opened). If you check headers of the email received from them, it has been sent from this server.Mail server 46.22.211.182 is fisically hosted in an Estonian datacenter at http://wavecom.ee but this IP range seems belonging to serbian web hosting company http://inferno.name

All i do is collecting some facts and connecting the dots wherever possible. Nevertheless, cloudflare or not, a phishing site on the same ip address is never a good sign.

Was hoping this wouldn't happen... The terms for this website basically say you have no rights... It's in china... so at least I (living in USA) have no rights... It's tied to one coin... Ok short term but not a good long term option. I've been over at Scrypt.cc for almost 2 months now. 3 Data Centers in Brazil is running software that analyzes the top 40+ profitable scrypt coins and mines the most profitable 3-5 coins. Exchanges to Btc and deposits straight to your Scrypt.cc account... every 10 minutes. 10 Minute Payouts! No Contracts BTC/KHS ExchangeStill in Beta but the beta (and lower prices) is ending soon. Do a search on here for Scrypt.cc and you'll find a few posts I've put up that have been following the progress of the site. Looking forward to the launch coming up. I'm a broke mountain guy and using a referral link does not decrease your mining profits. Come on by and see for yourself! I seriously hope they come back online... I really don't appreciate it when people play a dirty game. Keep it Clean!

Hey Guys, Been following this talk for a while, just a quick suggestion
Anyone that used the markets.cx website, should think about the password they used, if it is the same pass as you use on another account/website it would be advisable to change, wouldn't want these guys being able to cause more damage with you passwords (I know most site use 2FA, but better safe then sorry)

Right before I took all my LTC out, I changed my password to "gofuckkoff" .... it felt good.

Right before I took all my LTC out, I changed my password to "gofuckkoff" .... it felt good. Good for you Mike! Although I'm really hoping its' just some big issue that they haven't been able to come online to tell people about. SyncSAm... That's a VERY good point. I would also caution people to be aware of sites that exists to just harvest your e-mails and that it's a GREAT idea to use a completely different password for every account you log into online. There's currently a huge number of brute force login attacks going on at wordpress sites, e-mail hosts and mining related sites. Once a username/password is found they'll attack tons of places to find out where else you've used that username password and steal whatever they can. BE AWARE! BE SMART! And remember... Don't MINE AND DRIVE! The difficulty gets in your eyes. (J/K) Lol Wild Wild West Peeps, keep an eye out! Keep it Clean!

there are three theories that i saw floating about, and ones that at least kind of make sense are :
1.) this is a "fuck it" scam... someone starts off a business with good intentions, gives it their all, but eventually realizes that there is no way they can stay above water... eventually they give up, say "fuck it" and take every last cent they can with them on the way out...
2.) he's dead/arrested etc... the dev for markets.cx is based in urkraine, which is not exactly "stable" at the moment... chances of being rubbed out for owing money to the "wrong people", or just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time are high... ukraine is a bit lawless right now, so anything can happen...
3.) they got over their heads and got shut down by the govt... whether ukranian or chinese, no one knows... because they're shut down, they have no idea how to proceed or what to say, so they're silent...
again, just some theories i saw floating about... i don't believe any of them, but if i had to pick one - number 1 makes the most sense...

yes.. untill LTC are there we can hope this was just an incident and not a scam Anyway, in the event they have been arrested, we should hope that the hosting provider, do not format the web server, due to the fact we can definitively lost the LTC secret keys

This is really nuts! If this is indeed a service outtake, i expect you to compensate for the loss of the last days and an official statement and excuse.
