The WNBA starts this Friday. I know there are very few people who care about women's basketball but I am one of them.

I will not be giving my WNBA picks away for free. I am going to charge for them just like I did for the college basketball picks towards the end of the season.

I do not having any public tracking of these plays but I can tell you that in the 2012 season I finished 28-18 for +8 units and 60% and last year finished 38-16 for +20 units and 70%. Of course I can not promise that the 2014 season will show similar profits but i personally feel it will.

I have not yet decided how I am going to do the purchasing of plays for WNBA. I have a few options I am considering.

A) I sell the plays daily. If I do not finish above 50% I refund half of the purchase price.

B) I sell the plays daily. If I do not finish at or above 50% I give out the following days plays free of charge to the people who purchased until I have made them a profit.

C) I sell the entire season plays for a single price. If I do not finish the season at or above 53% I refund the season purchase price at the end of the season.

I will probably end up doing a combination of all three and allow people to choose what they want. The entire season package will of course be cheaper then if you paid for the daily plays. I have not yet decided on a price for the daily plays or for the season package.

I have decided on the price for the daily picks as well as how i am going to do them.

These picks are going to be alot more expensive then the college basketball ones but this will be what the price of the college basketball picks will be next year and will probably be the price of any other sports picks i decide to sell.  

The price for the daily plays is going to ~$15.00.  Every morning ill check the current price of BTC and pick an amount that is slightly under $15.00.  For example at the time of this post the price for todays WNBA plays would be .033 BTC if there were plays today.  If the price of BTC raises significantly from my posting price ill repost a new price but for the majority of days that posted price will be the price for that days picks whether or not the price of BTC increases or decreases after the posted price.

I am going to go ahead and offer two packages for the daily plays.

A) If i do not finish above 50% for the day purchase i will provide future plays for free until i make you a profit.  For example,  If you purchase plays on a Monday and i go 1-2 then the next day that has plays i will provide them to you at no cost.  If the next plays come on a wednesday and and i go 1-0 then the total record for you since purchase would be 2-2 and thus you would still be in the hole the juice.  So you would also receive the next days picks free as well.  If the next day i finish 2-0 then that would bring the total record since purchase to 4-2.  At this point you would have made money and future plays would once again cost money.

B) If you are not able to get future plays or you would rather have BTC immediately i will offer this option.  If i do not finish the day above 50% i will refund 80% of the purchase price at the end of the day.  Future plays will not be free like in option A and you will have to pay the full purchase price for any future days picks.

At the time of purchase everyone will be defaulted into option A. If you prefer option B you can let me know before i release the picks for the next day.  I will do my best to contact you any days i dont finish above 50% to see what option you prefer.  I will also give you an estimate on when i will release the next days plays so you can decide if you would be able to make the plays or not and can decide if you would like to take option B.

If anyone would like notifications i can set up either an email address and send out an email letting you know i have PMed the plays or i can set up a twitter account and send out a tweet letting you know i have PMed you the plays.  This why way you will receive notification shortly after i have PMed you the plays for that day.  Another option i am thinking about is setting up a google number so that i would be able to send a text notification.  I would not do all three of these, i would have to see what most people prefer.  

I will not have WNBA plays everyday and wont know if i do or do not have plays until later in the afternoon.  Most picks will be released an hour or two before game time so you would have to know your schedule and whether or not you would be able to check a PM to see the plays and be able to lock them in.  

If you make a payment on a day and it turns out that i will not have any plays that day i will give you two options:

1) I will count that as the payment for the next day i have plays.  If the price of BTC is higher the next day i have plays i will refund you the difference.  For example with this option, lets say one morning you pay 0.033 BTC for that days plays and it turns out that i dont end up having a play that day.  The next day i have play lets say the price for that day is 0.02 BTC.  I will refund the difference of 0.013 BTC to you as this is only fair.  I will NOT require you to send more BTC if the price falls.  Furthermore, if you like my picks and you think there is a chance the price per BTC will fall in the short term i will allow you to purchase multiple days under this option . . .  

For example, once again lets use the price of 0.033.  Lets say you want to purchase 3 days worth of picks at this price.  So you would send a payment of 0.099 BTC.  That will be three days of picks at: Day 1 - 0.033, Day 2 - 0.033, Day 3 - 0.033.  The break down of days would be the same as option A above (i will not offer the refund option B when purchasing multiple days). So on the first day of plays if i didnt finish above 50% you would be receiving all future plays for free until i made you a profit on that first purchase.  After that then you will move on to the Day 2 you have pre purchase and so and so forth until all purchased days have been used.  Furthermore i will also refund the difference on a purchase day if the price of BTC has gone up since then just like i outlined above.  I will also not require you to send more BTC if the price drops.

2) The second option is ill refund your purchase price in full excluding the transfer fee you had to pay when sending me the payment.  I am going hit the same transfer fee myself and will not reimburse that.  I will send you back the full amount of BTC that i received earlier that day.


As i did with the college paid picks i will post my plays publicly in this thread shortly after the games have tipped off.

Not sure if anyone is interested yet.  I am sure some people want to watch the initial results before jumping in but just in case there is anyone out there wanting to go ahead and purchase WNBA picks on the first day (friday) i am going to start accepting payments for those picks.  If you have any questions please read over the post i made on May 13th.  If you still have questions feel free to ask here or PM.

If you have purchased plays in the past you can use the address gave you originally as the address to send payment to.  If you have not purchased before you can PM me and ill provide you with a unique address.  Do not send payments for paid plays to my tip address because i will not know who they came from and anyone can claim the payment.
