When I run on intensity 24 miner shows strange hash rate #’s. 3.3mhs on a 1070. Poolside is less I’m pretty sure.

Is -i 24 too much?

As long as the system is stable I would at least wait for a first hashrate indication from the pool. I expect that the hashrate starts high and gets lower after some time - that is what I see here on my system. Just let it run  and see how it goes. Please share any results - want to know how this develops.

Thanks.

hi, i like your miner but when the ver. advance
the same problem still occur and even serious
GPU nounce (stop working) will happen when switch back from dev mining mode (not every time but it randomly happen)
it happen in my pure gtx 1060
and pure gtx 1070 rig

another problem is that it wont automatic reconnect after my line drop

Thanks for the report. I'll look into this. You are on MTP? MintPond / 2miners / zerg?? Do you have logfiles created? Do you run a single instance of TT on you computer or more?

hi, algo MTP. no logfiles created. yes single instance.

Can you please create a logfile. You have to add -logpool to your command line. As soon as you see this reconnection bug, please stop the miner and send me the logfile. You will find that in the Logs folder.

Thanks for reporting

My 2080Ti shows 7700 Mh/s in miner console, but mintpond shows only 5000 Mh/s. With Cryptodredge miner I was getting almost the same results in mintpond like it was shown in console.

If you see the same hashrate @ pool and miner that's a good indication. Please do that over a longer time and check. I got a report of wrong hashrates if intensity is set too high. So please check your speed with the speed you see at the pool. I will release a fixed version later today.

Hope the miner & pool keeps the high hashrate Smiley

I'm afraid it is way too high. On the other hand I can only guessing since I have 1060 and 1070 only. So I cannot not be sure. If you get this high hashrate stable I'm happy for you!  So please report if it drops or if you see other hashrates at pool. Anyway I fixed that bug in the hashrate calculation for these high intensities - that will be part of the next release. I'm afraid that you high hashrate will disappear with the new version ;-(

On pool I see usually half of the hashrate reported from the miner, but the mined coins are OK I guess. My card is watercooled and never exceeds 42 C.

Yes, but please remind this hashrate bug for high intensities.

i tried all the combinations, my rig give highest average 24 hours hashrates with intensity 20, when you're mining on mintpond apart network difficulty you should check average pool luck as well during that period,it's combination of both that give higher or lower zcoins earning daily, for example i got 0.64 zcoins yesterday with better luck and higher diff, even higher than whattomine calculator said, but today i got lower earning 0.62 zcoins vs 0.69 whattomine calculator, that's because luck was much higher than yesterday 85% vs 107 today

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Hi,

I got information that there is a virus the uses the name TT-Miner. I strongly recommend that you use only a TT-Miner that comes from a secure source. I store all releases on this server:

https://TradeProject.de/download/Miner/

this is the link that points ALWAYS to the most current release.
https://TradeProject.de/download/Miner/TT-Miner.zip

Please compare the hash!
SHA-256: 0cb65d3807fbcf07c8a31084c146e70afd4d987fca3712c0ad730649a7e6d59c

And make sure to check the file with Virustotal or any other virus checker!
https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/f80ff82eb6654f4f038ac5a7d8a3678a11b6af73086484fb2a9c9daef4a7edf8/detection

If you get the package from someone else please be careful.

Also:
There is NO Mac version available!
TT-Miner is not a CPU miner!

Here are the links that find this TT-Miner virus - I'm not sure if they are reliable - or even containing the virus?Huh

https://virus-removal-guide.net/49170-tt-miner-exe-miner-virus-how-to-remove-it/

https://topvirusclearner.com/2019/03/delete-tt-miner-exe-cpu-miner/

So please be very careful!

Any way to add a CPU priority setting 1-5 like crypto dredge? Would be great.  Thanks for your hard work on this!  Love the miner.

Thanks - happy if you like the miner.
So what is the effect you are locking for? Do you want to mine while doing other work on you PC?

Thanks for the reply!  No I actually want to prioritize the miner above other system processes.  I found that on cryptodredge this was helpful, as setting the miner's CPU priority at max level actually made the hash rate a little better as well as resulted in less rejected shares.  Probably just from less switching between processes for CPU.  Would be awesome if it helped the same way here.  If it's relatively easy to implement, it would definitely add value!!  Let us know if you think its possible Smiley

Ah - got it. I hope your rejected rate with TT is not that high? Anyway I can add a switch to set the miner to a higher priority in the next release.

Thanks.

but not sure this time why crash (no sure is disconnection or nounce bug or other unknown bug) since my mining rig hang.

New release 2.2.0 is available.

Release notes:
   - Fixed a bug when mining to P2Pool (Lary2Rev3/Vertcoin).
   - Fixed a bug that shows too high hashrates if the intensity is very high. The new version can
   - handle high intensities and grid sizes. However, if you choose intensities that are very high
   - you will see the hashrate dropping quite fast - and end up at levels that you can see with lower
   - intensities. You should always prefer lower intensities to get a better overall experience.
   - TT-Miner checks all 12 hours for a new release. If a new version is available it will print a
   - short notice and the release notes of the latest available release, repeating all 4 hours. You
   - can switch this information off if you add -nui (no update info) to the command line.
   - New command line options:
-log and -logpool accepts a filename with fill path now. If you omit the filename TT-Miner
creates standard filenames and will create a new file for each day.
-PP INT     process priority, this option set the process priority for TT-Miner to a different level:
           1=low, 2=below normal, 3=normal, 4=above normal, 5=high. Default: -PP 3
        -PRHRI INT  performance-report hash-rate interval.
specify the timeframe for the average of the hashrate. Default: -PRHRI 2
-nui        no update information. Do not print notifications for new releases.

I see here on my system also some hashrate improvements for ProgPoW and MTP, but it may be my 'overoptimized' system. So I do not know if you will see this improvements as well. I see them at default settings ( default intensity and default grid size).

Please let me know if you run into any issues.

Happy mining.

With 110GB Virtual Memory last version is not working on rigs 4x 1080ti 2x 1070ti with default settings, it's disabling few gpus all the time Sad

i'm testing it now, this new build uses different intensity and grid size vs TT-Miner-2.1.19, now default intensity is only 16 but grid size increased in quite big amount, older build had around 4000 now it has 10000-11000 according gpu you're using 1080 less 1080Ti more, i haven't changed cpu intensity, hashrate is higher than before :

https://i.imgur.com/bVvXs2z.png

do you think increasing default grid size is good idea and it will help to maintain higher hashrates in longer periods?, i had 14.3mh/sec in TT-Miner-2.1.19 now i have 14.8mh/sec of course if it can keep such hashrates in 24 hour period without dropping shares, i will keep testing it and report results and pool average daily hashrates as well, in TT-Miner-2.1.19 i had around 16mh/sec daily hashrate in mintpond, let's see if new build will be better, by the way newer build responsivness is much slower than older build using default settings, well miner need more time to submit shares, but overall it's pool side average hashrate that matters and if new build will be more effective than older build than new modifications was necessary, let's see how it works in longer periods in terms of stability using different intensity and grid sizes than older build

Thanks for your report. Yes I have changed the way I calculate intensities. This addresses mixed rigs with different GPUs. They have now much better hashrates by default.
Good that you have higher hashrates as well, so it is not limited to my 1070 Smiley
