The point of cryptocurrencies was to move away from centralization and regulations...however some things still need to be kept in check. The truth is, there are pros and cons to centralization and decentralization

In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see  that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.

Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.

I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.

Regulation will also help in curbing the possibility of using crypto to launder money and place a check and balance in ICO which will make it very difficult for scam ICOs to operate.

I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..

What's your view about it?

Futures were devaluation and sucking liquidity out of the market basically. Regulation, ETF may bring natural interest as an investment into crypto for the institutional money. We are all waiting for that move Smiley

In my opinion, regulation violates the very idea of cryptography in general, but in ICO projects, I consider it necessary to adopt certain rules, apply measures to dishonest companies to protect the interests of investors.

now that's what we haven't seen in the ico industry. we hope there will soon be rules to protect the rights of ico investors, if it continues like this maybe ico will soon be extinct due to abandonment of investors, or investors who choose to invest in coins on the market.

In the major purpose of the regulation, it is not really bad, it can be just bad when extrinsically applied some bad things on to it. Like using regulation to control the market in their condition.

There is nothing wrong with regulation on its own, but in the best  interest of how cryptocurrency was designed, it might not be helpful. We are operating in a decentralized system and bringing in regulation, is like allowing centralization, which might make cryptocurrency and block chain technology not to be of use or necessary again.
Even if governments create regulations about how cryptocurrencies should be used one problem they have is they have no power to make their rules mandatory, so a person using cryptocurrencies is going to realize very fast that despite what the government say they can do whatever they want with their money and the government cannot do anything to avoid that.

I think regulations neither bad, nor good. It is just the reality. In the following market conditions rules implented by the government is a good instrument in order to prevent money laundering, as well as drug selling. Also, nowadays regulations can give the investors higher level of protection.

I fully agree that, with properly organized regulation, the overall situation in the ICO market can be significantly improved. Including it will be possible to competently improve the issues of safe and reliable investments. But before the advent of such technologies still need to wait at least several years.

Presently crypto looks to be an all-comers affair. With regulation some degree of sanity will be introduced into the ecosystem which in itself would help reduce the number of scam icos that have flooded the crypto-currencies environment

I think regulation in a crypt is good and bad at the same time. Since many people came to this market for X, regulation for them is bad, there will not be such sharp movements. But on the other hand there will be no manipulations from the centralized exchanges.

in my opinion, supervision has more harm than good. the spirit of encryption is decentralized. Supervision will seriously undermine the spirit of encryption. Encryption is still in its infancy. It may have some vulnerabilities. but the market will gradually fix it.

There will be a good and bad impact on what will happen later. so it's best to look at the process and what nature will emerge later.

I can understand, in the sense that great curiosity makes us fall because we see so many risks or weaknesses in market development. But in my opinion supervision is very important to complement what we will take, everyone has their own mental abilities so it is not a problem to increase our knowledge.

Regulations is good and will be the best for cryptocurrency. Considering the rate of fake and scam projects, that's the best thing to bring into cryto

Regulations is good for crypto especially for ICO . We have seen many ICO behave and treat its investors any how because there is little or no regulations.  This wil aid to reduce manipulations and help in transparency for many ICO projects

The fight against deception and fraud in the cryptocurrency sphere is only a part of the regulators ' activity. If it was all their activities, it would be ideal, but for the same investigations they have to dive into the work of the blockchain. (for example, the identification of wallet holders)

Indeed we need regulations for ICOs, but let say also for crypto coins they ask regulation to stop money laundering, and terrorism if possible, on the other side is hard for them to stop fiat money laundering.

I believe that if crypto world finally acquire regulation crypto will reach higher level of achievements ,in fact regulations is what's been dragging crypto down and that's why we haven't seen huge investors yet in crypto space ,I hope regulation will happen very sooner or later on and scammers will have no choice but to stop scamming victims
