Ripple is going to be in top 3, but it won't become number 1. Ripple is in centralized system and also xrp isn't for mass adoption. Something like btc , ethereum or anything else is a solution for mass, but XRP isn't

While such market there is no, it is more likely that cardano or stellar breakthrough into the top is a more likely event. It remains to wait for the general growth. None of the above because bitcoin will still be the number one coin. I know XRP a bit more aggressive on their approach in the market but bitcoin is still the trusted coin right now and for sure it will grow also and makes it more unstoppable on the top one position. |

I think your question is because you see XRP ranked second in CMC. XRP is a good coin and has a large volume and currently competes with Ethereum in third place. But I don't think that this XRP will be the number one coin. And for number one position remains Bitcoin.

XRP is a good coin and now this coin is able to compete with Ethereum. But if this XRP can be the number one coin at the end of this year. Because Bitcoin is still the king. It is not easy to become the number one coin, many things have to be passed. Bitcoin which is the number one coin still cannot be widely accepted by various countries in the world. Agree, ripple will have battles to scramble for position with eth, instead of bitcoin because this seems to be more realistic when in recent times, ripple is very active in developing and receiving a lot of support while eth is slowly going down, and every market condition is almost supporting ripple beating eth, and of course, this replacement is reasonable when ripple has enough power and deserves that position. For the position of Bitcoin, ripple is still hard to replace, people remain loyal to bitcoin, the strength and the link between the bitcoin and the market is too great, altcoin can not beat it |

A better technology is not enough in the market of cryptocurrencies, ethereum and ripple have such a huge advantage that any coin that wants to compete with them regardless of its technology is going to have great problems doing it since they will be fighting against numerous interests that will not want to lose the money they invested in those two coins and will do everything to destroy this new coin. |

I myself don't believe that it can go beyond bitcoin. even though there is a lot of good news, I think it will also affect other assets, because good news does not come to just the community, there is a lot of good news that might be related to the global market, it will trigger an overall market increase. |

No way and that isn't going to happen anytime. Cryptocurrency is a decentralized system in nature but ripple isn't decentralized and so, this one reason will make it fail in that area because real and huge investors that understand that cryptocurrency is suppose to be operated freely won't invest in ripple |
