@kerney666 and @todxx Last version 0.3.8 is 2 months old now. Read on one post that you are working for a month on another project.

Can you please continue work on this great project, and when new version?  Grin

From what i read and heard, they will do new feature implementation later, like 1-2 months till new release. Not sure though.

New algo supports, different from CN will probably not be on the ToDo list at all. Only CN variants may get implemented at some point in the near future.

Really expecting new release.
Results of PHI2 with my RX580's are spectacular.
Each new algo that is added will be welcome!  Grin

Interesting.

I'm all in cryptonight algo, so please advice...

what do you think, what coin is ok on PHI2 algo to mine? Profitability better on phi2? Some good perspective coin on phi2? good pool?  Maybe I switch Grin

As far as I know, you can mine two coins with PHI2 algo: LUX and AGM.
Both are falling in price (especially AGM), so I do not know if it will be very profitable to mine them.
My goal is to get enough coins to mount an AGM MN. I still far away ...  Roll Eyes
I do not have pools at hand. Let me get home and I'll confirm it.

Btw, what are you mining?

I can be mistaken, but it seems that FPGA work on these algorithms
CNv8 this is today's algorithm for monero?

Not sure. I found this on coinguides.org (google "PHI2 algo"):

Quote
Also Phi2 algorithm is both FPGA and ASIC resistance. FPGA can adopt again, but the amount of time and effort to make one work with this new algo may not be worth it. Also Luxcore has stated that their hashing algorithm will remain GPU and CPU friendly even in the future. If they ever find out any FPGAs for Phi2 then they’ll modify their existing algorithm and update it to Phi3.

As for the current algo of monero ... yes: CNv8

The last month, the XMR Nethash jumped by 150~MH/s. This is certainly either private CNv8 FPGA bitstreams, or some weak ASICs. I would think its the first.

Mine lots of cryptonight coins, but most of the time: monero and bittube.

You can check this site for more info: https://www.cryptunit.com/

Sorry, been more active in our other thread lately which covers Lyra2rev3. I’m traveling atm, need to check exactly what the error means in our code. Last time I believe someone had this error was with too high mem overclock that caused init issues for us. Would that be applicable for you? Otherwise, what os, driver and gpu(s) are the we talking about?

I have win 10, latest 19.1.1 adrenalin driver and 6 x rx570 nitro+ 8gb.
It was working ok for some time, but lately it shows that error when i start the miner and continues to mine with all gpus

Hi! We’ll be starting work for the upcoming XMR fork shortly. We might also sneak in a few CN variants for other coins as well. I can’t make any promises for specific algos or coins though.

Any plans to add Grin, Beam, Veil, or Zel support?
