Dude, are you talking about degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius? Because if you run 90 Degrees on HVC, you must be running your GPU without fan or what? Temperatures on CGMiner are by far the lowest ones I have ever seen when mining with GPU -> 50-70 degrees. These are my rates with the latest miner from http://Heavycoinpool.com -> https://heavycoinpool.com/downloads/cgminer-3-7-3-heavycoin-v3.zipR280x: 49.0C 2247RPM | 6.746M/6.746Mh/s R290: 62.0C 3593RPM | 8.218M/8.223Mh/s Well, thanks for your stats, I am certainly missing something now please look at the screen shot attached here. Of course GPU fans are running but somehow at low RPM ! Is there any command line to increase the RPM in this modified miner ? I have noticed silently working GPUs with this modified CGMiner for heavycoin, while for scrypt mining my GPUs sound like Jet engines at full intensity. How warm is it your room? My temps range from 42-52 while rpm range from 1700-2200.... r9 270's 3.86MH Umm the Avg. temp. is around 30-35 degrees when I took that screenshot, as it's mid night here. During day time, room temp. should be around 35-40. I also checked cooling my room with A.C. yesterday at 22 degrees but it didn't make any difference in either Mh/s or GPU Core Temp. What is the brand and model of your card exactly?

95-104 degree Farenheight? Holy shit! That's a god damn sauna. What are your temps for your cards when you run scrypt? I can't even imagine.

Yeah, just noticed this as well. What is your intensity at? I have mine set to 6 and it's given me a less than 1% rejection rate....

Actually to be honest I run my rig in a serverroom with air conditioning and permanent temperature cca 17 degrees Celsius. On top of that I have a 30cm cheap desk fan blowing on my cards. But even without that R280x must not generate more than 80 degrees celsia. What is your whole GGMiner config now, can you paste it here? There must be something totally wrong with your cards. Haven't you somehow overclocked or overvolted via MSI Afterburner or some other shit? I haven't touched those special tools, the only overclocking I did is via CGMiner parameter --gpu-engine. I run over 85 degrees when mining Scrypt coins, but can't be with HeavyCoin.
Well, I also have a server room with Running A.C. at 20-22 degrees Celsius always & I have my rigs placed in open kitchen baskets with enough air circulation. I have done nothing with any third party software/tools to change the default GPU settings either. All my cards are running at default parameters. I didn't add any config file to the CGMiner yet, just changed the wallet address in the .bat file. When I tried to write config file by going to CGMiner Settings it gave me the following, { "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://hvcpool2.1gh.com:5333", "user" : "My Wallet Address", "pass" : "x" } ] , "intensity" : "8,8", "vectors" : "1,1", "worksize" : "256,256", "kernel" : "heavy,heavy", "gpu-engine" : "0-0,0-0", "gpu-fan" : "0-85,0-85", "gpu-memclock" : "0,0", "gpu-memdiff" : "0,0", "gpu-powertune" : "0,0", "gpu-vddc" : "0.000,0.000", "temp-cutoff" : "95,95", "temp-overheat" : "85,85", "temp-target" : "75,75", "api-mcast-port" : "4028", "api-port" : "4028", "expiry" : "120", "failover-switch-delay" : "60", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "2", "log" : "5", "log-dateformat" : "0", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "60", "heavy" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" }

My rig is less than 50 C with fan rpm 2500. I love the cool temperature.

+1 would never push cards too hard considering mining a long term bussinies , haha

It's just on front page on 1GH website...
Has anybody noticed the previous GPU miner (the link given couple of days back on the middle of this thread) worked smoother compared to the one given on the front page of 1GH ? I have 3 Rigs with 3x R9 290 cards each, the previous GPU miner was running at 90-92 Degrees with constant speed of ~8 MH/s/card while the one given on the 1GH website today runs at 94-95 Degrees with speed of less than 7MH/s/card, is that only me having this kind of difference or I am missing something ? You should get more hashrate on 290 with adjusting intensity (better, xintensity) and worksize even without overclocking. Please try something like '-X 105 -w 256 --gpu-threads 1'

maxcoin will have a good pump in months, also heavycoin scrypt ASIC reaches 16M/300W.... GPU will rush into maxcoin and heavycoin

Got the following after doing some adjustment in config file. Now GPU is running at 60-62 degrees but to maintain that RPM should be over 4800 Even with scrypt mining to maintain 80-85 degrees my RPM never go above 3500 ! BTW the make is ASUS reference card with default config (no overclocking/ no tweaking, nothing)

Thanks in advance .

The same way you changed it in your config the first time, except replace -I 8 with -X 105

With all our miners' efforts, we just solved another block
But It's really far from what we can do.
I am now suggesting all HeavyCoin miners rush to http://heavycoin.zhpool.com and gather any possible hash power we get, we deserve much more blocks.
Our mining/DB servers keeps never down record since keccak512's final release.
It's our job to keep all the servers running at low load,
yours is pushing your rig to the highest, and work with our 2 dedicated stratum mining servers
final promotion today... help us spread our words... keep working 22 hours....should get some sleep now...
