I think it is too early to call it game over and considering last year BTC gained value by speculation, not by real use shows that it is nothing to go by.
Bitcoin gain its value through the demand of the investors not by speculation. We all know that Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency and it is not controlled by any agencies or third parties, it is controlled through the demand and supply. While the investors are keep on using cryptos especially Bitcoin, the price are continuing on increasing or moving. You might say that the price increases and it is speculated by someone but you can't say that the price increased because of the speculation. |

It’s impossible to predict a bottom for Bitcoins or any of the altcoins, Big whales can dump the market with just a few thousands bitcoins, and then spend the next few days buying up the dip until they crash the market again.
But as long as new people keeps entering the market and move there Bitcoins off the exchanges to their own private wallet, the price of bitcoins will over time keep rising.

Everything will be fine and good for us. Because Bitcoin is falling a lot, but if we compare it to the previous years, the value of Bitcoin is lower than the current one. So I see Bitcoin still has a bright future. I think it will change much in the crypto market in 2019. Everything is only temporary with Bitcoin and it will return soon.

I would still say it has a bright future because of what I believe. But based on the movement, it's not good for me, but I'm not surprise since we have different trend here in crypto. I invested because I believe in the potential and for me even if it will continue to dump, it's never a game over because I'm optimistic. |

Haters says that bitcoin will not survive when it dropped from $ 1,000 to $ 10 in 2013, but slowly bitcoin continues to improve and has reached $ 19200, this proves that Bitcoin has the power to survive because of a strong community.

no one can find out directly in the future any crypto currency including bitcoin bitcoin will not end as long as there are investors and of course people who do not have confidence in the crypto currency who say bitcoin will end
That's right. that's the purpose of haters. make the bitcoin market shake and its main purpose is to make bitcoin end. but we know that bitcoin is getting stronger. it won't end just because of cheap speculation. look at the price now back positive and strengthen. |

Ok just because the BTC has a low price for about a year it doesn't mean that it's game over. I've seen a lot of people with this opinion but you don't need to freak out about the prices, they will increase again soon because this it's normal to happen.After a decrease will be an increase.

People never see a thing from a different side and only from 1 side. If people want to see bitcoin history from past, they must understand if bitcoin at this price is still better than in past. It should be like that, but many new people come and invest in, most of them don't understand the history of bitcoin price movements. And also there is another reason they say bitcoin will die, the dramatic drop in prices from $ 20,000 to $ 3500 until the year is enough for them to conclude that bitcoin will not have a future, they support this decline so bitcoin is not worthy of being an investment place. |

There will be no game over in the next hundred years. There will only be growth. Why such a question coming from a legendary? I suppose you have been in this universe for a longer time than many of us. You must have learned that Bitcoin has markets that are both positive and negative. It does not follow that when the market is falling hard, meaning, with negative performance, it is going to die. Such mentality is only coming from the newbies and the emotionals.

We see a similar situation every two years.
Remember 2015. It was a terrible year for cryptocurrency. But it passed. And BTC grew 5 times after that.
I see no reason to panic. I see reasons to buy BTC now. I see an increase in the popularity of BTC and cryptocurrency. And I know that everything will be fine.

Some people like to talk about "Game Over" or Dead only because the price fluctuates, you fail to see that price of Bitcoin against fiat does not affect its design or network. It isn't like when DAO was hacked and rendered useless, or when ETH forked to "undo" a major theft. Only Bitcoin has kept its promise: Once in the blockchain, always in the blockchain.
Bitcoin and the bitcoin network couldn't care less for the fiat price equivalent unless its people living from trading, but thats not bitcoin's fault. It has responded as designed, following its code design.
Bitcoin is never ending, even if you personally decide to not touch it. The genie is out of the bottle...

Exactly. The volatility of Bitcoin makes it impossible to predict the true value of BTC across the crypto market. Whales can do whatever they want, but in the end, what determines Bitcoin's success is the adoption from people within the mainstream world. Despite this slowness in price, Bitcoin is still functional and useful for making cross-border payments without middleman. Some third world countries (like Venezuela) have already adopted Bitcoin at a large scale, because of their falling Fiat currency. Of course, we cannot deny that Bitcoin still has some flaws which prevent it from becoming a perfect blockchain system. However, as the development team and community continue to work on Bitcoin, the BTC blockchain will improve in many ways possible. What's needed is greater speed, lower costs, and regulatory compliance for Bitcoin to gain the attention it deserves. Only then, demand will rise, as well as, its price in USD. Nonetheless, it's only game over for those who cannot be patient with Bitcoin. As it’s said, patience is a virtue. Which means, that only those who're patient, will see good results in the long run. Just my thoughts  |

it can not be game over for bitcoin as bitcoin has loads of use cases and also has won the heart of many investors and many traders and most people feel more secure when they have they crypo currency assets in the bitcoin framework and that is the confidence most investors have. also massive adoption of the bitcoin is also making it a great project to consider.

In the financial markets the game doesn't end. Therefore I think, it is impossible to say that the game over for Bitcoin. Even if we were old in the market and spend few years, we're still hard working every day to accurately interpret the market's course of action and determine the right strategy. In fact we are in a market where learning never ends. As long as we strive, opportunities will come and we will be profitable.

Why game over? Btc price in 2016 was just $500-600
It is not over until it is over so for me can't say it is game over. Although Bitcoin market is really in difficult right now but Bitcoin is has been in this situation for so many times before but continue to survived therefore i believed it will not going to be game over for Bitcoin in which its just normal to a market to have some difficulty performance like this. |

BTC reward halved in 2012 then the ATH pump happened 2013, BTC reward halved again in 2016 then another ATH pump happened in 2017, BTC reward will half again in 2020 so expect another ATH pump not long after. P.S look at the charts for the above mentioned and the gaps between to see accumilation mode  |

Bitcoin game has not over. This is right that prices are going down since long, but In my view this is pause time for Bitcoin. If we talk about other crypto currencies, some has cracked more than 95%. If we compare Bitcoin with other crypto currencies, it is still on reasonable price.
Every day a lot of new crypto currencies coming to the market. This is the main reason for cracking down the whole crypto market as a lot of them are scam. The new currencies which are not scam, listed on very huge discount of their ICO price, resulting people are losing the faith on crypto currencies.
Bitcoin prices will not go up very soon, but this is not the time to sell. It is the time to buy and wait for the good time.

Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money. Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted. Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon?  if for my speculation this is not game over for bitcoin, because I still believe and are optimistic that someday bitcoin will recover again to be able to increase the price again, indeed when this decline in bitcoin and other crypto money throughout 2018, many people have lost trust to continue to make investments or trade, because indeed they are really afraid that the greater the estimated loss they will get, so our hope is, that everything will again increase the price again, even though it requires a fairly long time process. |

did you know the dotcom bubble ? that was ended on the year 2000's because they have been guilty for scamming . you cant say that there is no ending in financial market because not all are legit . we never know if bitcoin can also end like that but lets hope not . it is actually a crash but its not an end . it isnt also the beggining because bitcoin is already up for more than several years . This de happens with bitcoin. He endures a lot of difficulties on his path of development, but in the end everything will be fine.

Everyone assumed 6k was the true floor- but it wasn't. We hadn't spent enough time in that range to give confidence that it was truly the lowest things would go. Is the 3k range the bottom? Time will tell. If we are still at this range in a few months, then I'd say yes it is.
