I agree that all ICOs must be regulated and all the information about the team should be available and open because there are already many ICOs whose team only aims to raise money for a project that nobody needs and worse when the team collects money and disappears without a trace. The regulation automatically reduces the number of ICOs

Yep investors must know who are team members to avoid from scams because sometimes users who don't understand what market needs, how works blockchain and even ICO try to make ICO.

I fully agree with your thoughts. I believe that there should be a regulatory ICO and which will protect investors' funds from losses.

In this matter, not everything is so simple. On the one hand, market regulation is good, but on the other hand, this does not always have a positive effect on the market. However, I agree that fraudsters must be fought.

ICO, in simple terms, is a type of crowdfunding. STO (a type of private placement of securities) is aimed at a different audience, as only professional investors can participate in it.

I think STO can solve a number of problems. STO is a new, more professional level, both in terms of the development of the cryptoindustry and in terms of investment.
We are just beginning to have some STO projects in the crypto space and I think we should give them some little time, to test their performance level.
Personally, I am yet to experience the reality and the true definition of what an STO is in the real sense of it.
I have only read about them, but I think their results will speak volume about them.

I do not know what possibility of promoting a startup will be more relevant, but in any case, it seems to me that with the current scale of increasing the number of fraud in the cryptocurrency market, every user should have legal protection. Proceeding from this, it is impossible to do without regulatory bodies.

Of course, legal protection will be very relevant for the development of the entire cryptocurrency market. New projects will attract a lot of investment and prices will grow on coins.

I think projects that offer ICO's should be regulated.  They are asking for funding before the coin even hits the market.
Too many scams have been perpetuated to allow otherwise.

I don't think all crypto should be regulated or centralized, but ICO's and big profit exchanges should have some sort of oversight.

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?

Well YES! Every transaction with involves money should be well regulated, and I am not saying we should need to centralized the crypto, we just need ICOS to be regulated as you said.

I agree with that, we have witnessed the result of non regulated ICO, it resulted to lots of scammed investors.
They come here to make money not to loss, that's the essence of investing so order to minimize the risk of investing, a properly regulation should be put in place. I don't know when it will be put in place but I believe we badly need it now.

That's for sure, investors are more confident if they will know the team will face the consequences if they will scam investors.
ICO is already big now despite not being regulated but just recently not able to gain more investors, but we are still talking here of projects that has raised millions of money, hence this needs for an action by the government and it's timely now.

With the high rate of increasing scam that many has pulled up with the intention to scam people through the initial Coin offering has become too alarming and I vote for this ico to be regulated else they will kill the industry

Absolutely not, regulation is harmful and does not affect scam. Scammers will find a way to bypass the regulation and we will just get extra difficulties.
We dont need no regulation.

Lol when you must have passed the verification before try to issuing your ico and you must do that. Do you wanna get jailed by the police. So many scammers have already arrested and a few people that created bitconnect already arrested into the jail.

Many investors have lost everything due to scam projects and scammers have been getting away cheating investors, so it is necessary to regulate the ICO, so that investors are protected.
