I mean maintenace was just necessary since they have a huge issue on security and they need to fix it asap, they can't operate because the hacking and breach might continue, but for sure they are going to open again after the hacking and issue is solve internally, I read on the other thread that this 3M$ was not a huge amount on there budget so for sure they could easily recover again and operate after a few days or weeks.

We dont even know if the money stolen by the hackers is more than the quotation the public has been told.
For me, $3 million is not a small money at all, this money pay involve part of players funds even though it may not be much.
I hope Gamdom is able to fixed their website and the loopholes that must have given the hackers the leverage to steal such amount of money. This is a very sad moment for their team to scale through this unfavorable situation.

Yeah, it has been mentioned in some articles that the total stolen funds are above $4 million. I think the Gamdom team is still trying to figure it out how all these things happened. I expect them to resume the operation within a short time by ensuring the safety of the funds. The amount they lost is really big enough, but it shouldn't have a big impact on Gamdom since the total deposited volume is too big for them.

According to Tanzanite and Fairgambling, Gamdom yearly deposit volume is around $2 billion.

I would agree but taking measured security steps serious if you know and follow the news about these hacks , can you harden your security and not do it if the hack already happend.

Most of the time we can only hear about exchange, cross chains, bridge and smart contract exploits or hacking issues.

Now it seems the new trend goes on crypto casinos. After what happen on Duelbits I really think that there would be more, knowing hackers would try to find another ways to exploit and drain the money of their target platforms.

It seems that Gamdom didn't recover yet and they struggle to go live again.
