"He already is a billionaire in South Korea, Zimbabwe, Iran, Viet Nam, Sao Tome and Principe, and probably Somaliland..."

I don't know if South Korea should be included in the same list as Zimbabwe, Iran, Vietnam, Sao Tome and Principe and Somalia.
...
I seriously doubt anyone with $250,000 will be considered rich, let alone a billionaire, in South Korea today.

In won, quite nearly.  1040 to the dollar.

I am exceedingly jealous of the OP.  Being married, I gave up the right to such unilateral action.  I would liquidate all of my property just to have fiat ready  for exchange on a sub 340 move.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give a man a Poisson distribution and he eats at random times independent of one another, at a constant known rate.

OP, don't give up. You're underwater about 30% perhaps, but we're beginning to feel a turn in the market. If all goes well and this wedge from the November high breaks in the coming few weeks, you're going to have enough profits to retire in comfort for life.

Night gathers, and now my bitcoinwisdom watch begins.

OP was last active on: 16-03-2014
I wonder what he's doing now a days? Or just sitting  on his desk and staring at the BTC price graph, trying to make a sense of what he did?

Not everyone check the price everyday  Tongue

Hi All,

I have been following Bitcoin for over a year and was the first person ever to put my house for sale for bitcoin.

http://www.cbc.ca/newsblogs/yourcommunity/2013/03/alberta-man-accepting-bitcoins-in-exchange-for-home.html

Not sure if you followed my story from a year ago, but the house just sold on Friday, and will make the news tomorrow I suspect. When the house closed on Friday I got approximately 648 BTC for my house which is based on prices over the past 6 months when the deal was actively negotiated, legal fees, realtor fees, and a bunch of contract wording that I frankly don't understand. I am now all in! I really believe in bitcoin. It is the future of the world. I look forward to the continued price increase and one day I plan to own my own island. I will truly be a bitcoin billionaire by the time I am 25 I believe. This house was inherited from my father who passed away a few years ago and he always believed in me and told me I would make it big one day and so I shall. Wish me luck Smiley

I hope the OP is OK?
BTC will recover, and then eventually go much higher.  Smiley

Young people these days don't have the patience to HODL even for a few months. He's already wasted a good chunk, if not all, of the 648 bitcoins he had when he sold his father's house.

What's the bitcoin/immortal soul pair exchange rate these days?

i am currently looking to get into cryptos as i have maybe a little over extended my self in silver (tiny bit of gold)
not that i have massive amounts, i am low income, and when i get paid, after bills and food + a little bit of fun, everything else goes into metal.
i was watching bitcoin from $4 thinking, i should get me some Tongue never did... now i have to play the minnow game, trading in and out of minor currencies in order to try and scrape together some coins.
i look back in stupidity, and think, i was buying $30 silver, when i could have being buying $30 BTC...

But it woks both ways. Many people bought at $800 too. It wouldn't SEEM to be a wise investment now.

When you buy a home and take a loan of 90 % to be paid by future wages, you in fact go all in on a single asset with a 10 to 1 leverage. That is risky.
