There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

haven't really been following the price that closely.
RIP.

Well it looks like my $400K investment is going to make me a millionaire very soon.
1-2 millions is not a lot of money these days, but sure, soon.

1-2 million is not alot of money these days?

Im sorry but you should jump off a bridge, who is this guy?
Do you have 2 million,do you even own bitcoin. Wait I don't need a answer,I already have it.

Well, you dont need to be a millionaire to say 1 million isn't a lot anymore.

It really isn't.

You can maybe buy a decent house and a decent car, and then you're out of money. You can't even buy a mansion. There's plenty of people with houses that cost several tens of millions.

Sure, I'd like to have a million as much as the next guy, but a million is not as much as you'd think.

So let me get this straight.
You acquire 1million dollars and your ambition is gone? You just buy a house and a car?

You sound like a bum dude, definitely no business man with that mentality.
If I had a million dollars I would turn it into 5 million dollars. Why stop at a million? And yes a million is just as much as I think. It would kick start a business and give you the finest resources to maximize the profit potential. I shouldn't have to explain this to you.

Are they all living in pristine cardboard boxes in Zurich then, because apparently they can't live on their wages?

From what I've heard income is about 20% higher in Switzerland with expenses 30% higher, so yeah kinda.

Well, if they're bums, at least they're cleanly bums. I bet R. Branson here bleaches his a-hole before crawling into his box.

Yeah, it's very important to keep your asshole sufficiently well bleached... And probably greased up in some of your cases Cool

Houses are unpredictable things, sometimes even newish ones need a fortune spending on them to fix mistakes made by the original builder. For all we know the OPs house might have fallen down since he sold it.

To be fair biggus 's post was quite ridiculous.Don't see why you would put him on an ignore list for stating that.

I got put on an ignore list by one swivel-eyed uberbull, I think jaredboice, for simply explaining the charge for a overseas payment transfer using a website, including a link to that websites pricing schedule for evidence.

The human race includes a lot of people who really are no more intelligent than the average pond scum. They will lash out at the simplest and most irrefutable statements of fact.

That's what makes this forum so interesting! People watching.

The OP seems to not have taken into mind the risks associated, that comes with every investment tbh. He seems to have been plunged into it in a hurry. By the way, I just don't get it how this thread got more than 900 replies, lolz... Tongue
