Now it has become pretty much evident that the teams that will play semifinals will be Newzealand, England, Soth Africa and India. I still don't understand what made Shakib say that

" India has come here to win the title. We didn't come here to win the trophy. If we beat India it will be an upset for them."

What made him so overconfident is still a question for me? To me he made himself a twat or someone who accidentally became a captain of a team and has no idea about their performance. A mature and a sensible captain would not have vomitted such a statement infront of the media. After today's defeat this statement will haunt him in the future.

This statement means that India has come to win the title and hence there will be a lot of pressure on them. They need to win the match in order to qualify and if they lose, it will be a big upset for them. But then he said that he didn't come to win the trophy. So if Bangladesh's target is not to win the trophy, then what was their target ? 
I think Bangladesh team came in the world cup to lose the matches and their captain is doing exactly that 

On a serious note if you don't think big to win the title, you will never perform good. All the teams should aim at winning the title, no matter how small or big are the teams.

Excellent performance from Netherlands so far. Zimbabwe struggling at 98/7 after 16 overs, and Raza is gone. Their bowling was on target today, although Paul van Meekeren was expensive in his initial spell. Zimbabwe may end up with a total of somewhere around 120, and it should be a cakewalk for the Netherlands from now. They are out of the world cup (along with Zimbabwe), but a win in the Super-12 stage would do a lot of good for their future prospects. Zimbabwe is going to lose badly. After a target of just 118 runs, it was predicted that Zimbabwe would not win. Had the target been more than 135 then maybe Zimbabwe could have fought for the win. The performance of Zimbabwe's batsmen was very poor. Zimbabwe could have scored 20/30 more runs if the top-order players had performed a bit better.
At the end of 12 overs, the Netherlands collected 83 runs. They lost just one wicket. Max O'Dowd remained unbeaten on 38 off 39 balls and Tom Cooper on 31 off 26 balls. The Netherlands needed just 35 runs from 48 balls to win.

I honestly had high expectations from Zimbabwe in this match.
And I think everyone thought Zimbabwe was going to be the better team in this match. However, the team's performance did not meet expectations. 

As soon as they won the toss and chose to bat first, they had to score a big total on the board, but they were unable to do so.
They did not even get close to a big total. After the first innings, Netherlands did not even need 6 runs per over.
With that type of target, you cannot win a T20 match. And Netherlands did win the match quite easily in the end.

Agreed, he shouldn't have done it. Everyone predicted the match to be a win for India, but the confident performance from the openers were really an unexpected one. Maybe the same followed by the lack of performance could've made him reveal such statements. Anyhow it is an lucky day for India. The rain interruption gave India timeout where the Bangladesh team missed the continual momentum. Till the last Nurul Hasan tried his best to make it a win for Bangladesh, and finally lost on a small margin.

Before the rain, Bangladesh were in a perfect state of momentum. Bangladesh's chances of winning against India were affected by the rain. In the same moment when rain broke their winning momentum, India came back with a great performance. Later, Nurul Hasan tried his best but it wasn't enough to win the match for the team. Liton Das played a good game of cricket.

Litton Das is considered as a senior player in Bangladesh cricket. He played great in today's match. However, his performance was no longer continued after the rain. As a result, the Bangladesh team goes to the big danger. Although Shakib Al Hasan was there, he failed to collect more run from his bat. Sad day for Bangladeshi players they played really good and fought really hard to chase the runs. But all the wickets made things difficult for them ,excellent fielding by Indian fielders not a single drop catch or midfield .

Bangladesh played good cricket but they could have easily won this match. Bangladesh's middle-order batsmen cannot escape the reason for their defeat in this match. Liton Kumar Das played a brilliant innings, as long as he was at the crease team India was heading for defeat, and their body language showed how worried they were. But unfortunately Liton Kumar Das was run out, and India took control of the match again. Bangladesh should have won this match, but they failed.

Honestly I came today in this thread to watch people cry again for cheating anyways Shakib pretty much answered what any sane person would say, wet outfield always favours the batting team. Moreover, No one even knows for what Bangladeshi's were talking to Umpire but I understand anguish. i would have done the same if I were at your place.

In the first match by the way I saw even Netherlands manage to beat Zimbabwe. This has made things pretty clear now India and SA advance to the semis which was pretty much expected before the start of the tournament itself.

People do not cry about cheating, people just see what the umpires are doing. Who is behind all this and who is benefited? Of course, money buys everything. Also, I suggest that instead of coming to this thread seeing people protesting (not crying), why not come up with your arguments to prove that you are right?

So here is a question for you and others. If the zero wickets are lost, the target should be 133 runs and not 151 after 16 overs. So how will you justify this target of 151 runs  

Again, India tried every trick in the book, to ensure they win this match. I wished the same efforts could be done by them in the playing  field too.

Different people have different comments. What you've made is really different. I don't know if a team will think in such a way to loss and reduce the chance of another team entering the semifinals. According to me, the team will try to win and confirm its position into the semifinals. If India have won the match against South Africa, now it's semifinals position could've been almost confirmed.

Rain is really becoming an irritant in this tournament. Multiple matches were abandoned, and some more were curtailed as a result of rain interruptions. Regarding yesterday's incident, I partially agree with some of the other users here. If India was in the same position as Bangladesh, then the match would have never resumed and as per the DLS rule, India would have been declared as the winners. The same thing happened during the match between South Africa and Zimbabwe. The umpires forced Zimbabwe players to resume play, when the outfield was still wet. As a result Richard Ngarava got injured and had to be taken off.

Their love is only towards money.

It looks like ICC is controlled and managed by BCCI ,like Indian dominate in game even in umpire decisions and instructing umpires about no balls ny Virat Kohli is strange.  All of us can see how Virat told umpire about no ball in match against Pakistan and yesterday same thing happened against Bangladesh, so let's just notice everything and enjoy this World Cup.
