Regarding the relations between the cricket board and the players, I don't think that much can be done. Even in India, we had a well publicized spat between Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly. And the less talked about PCB and the SLCB, that better. But in case of Bangladesh, I would say that players have been at the receiving end. Most of the BCB officials are those with good connections to the ruling party and they take one-sided decisions without consulting the players. And this has resulted in some of their best players such as Shakib al Hasan getting sidelined.

I went through the highlights of some of the matches in Fancode. I like the African tournaments more than those from other regions, because they are mostly played by the natives. A total of 19 teams are participating in the tournament this time. Three of the teams (Namibia, Zimbabwe and Uganda) managed to secure direct qualification to the regional finals, while the other 16 teams were divided in to two qualifying tournaments.
