Following the series victory against Australia, India retains the top-ranked ICC T20I Team. The second and third positions were taken by England and South Africa, respectively. If England wins the series, they can top the table, and if Pakistan wins, they will replace England's position. In T20I, rankings aren't important, especially with World Cup approaching. A team can beat any other on its day.

Rankings are based on a team's performance. But that doesn't matter much when the World Cup just around the corner. Every team is now busy with how to perform well in the World Cup. Now T20 series will be very important for every team. The matches played yesterday between Australia vs India and Pakistan vs England are of utmost importance. Meanwhile Australia and India match is over. Now the T20 series between Pakistan and England is on going. We have to see how much progress they can make in the upcoming matches.

I also think the game change is really unpredictable, anytime any team can play bad or weak team in the list can show good performance.  But the ranking should not be underestimated, things are very good.  Because the current performance of that team also depends on the ranking, that is, the quality and condition of everyone in the team should be kept and practiced in the team.

We can get idea about which team is favorite at the time of comparison. Ranking will help us to find out quickly to solve this comparison but cricket is a unpredictable game where any team can win whatever strong or weak opponent. It's not possible to judge a team by ranking only.

In other formats there is no significant variation in team performance according to ranking. But in T20 format there is comparatively more variation because T20 cricket is very unpredictable where often the smaller team can beat the bigger one. But overall ICC ranking is an important concern for every team as well as conducting for the good cricket.

Since it is only a 20-over match, even weaker teams can win against stronger teams. We look at the performance of the Ireland team in recent times. Despite not playing well in ODI and Test formats, their performance in the T20 format is excellent. Teams like Afghanistan and Ireland have been able to make phenomenal progress in the T20 format. So regardless of ranking in the T20 format, one has to be ready to see any result in the match.

 The game has been tossed. United Arab Emirates has won the toss and decided to bowl. Will the players of Bangladesh be able to make their team win this match. Bangladesh has good quality players but they cannot play like before.  But I think Bangladesh will play well in this match today.

The matches are being competitive. I am not a big fan of the United Arab Emirates, because it is an artificial team and doesn't symbolize the country it claims to represent. But despite all that, there is no question on the competitiveness of the matches. And we saw this recently during the Asia cup as well. The match between India and Hong Kong was really close (India won by 40 runs despite Babar Hayat making 41). The ICC should include more teams, at least for the T20 tournaments. ACC should do the same as well.

Coming towards the end of the game, Bangladesh is not able to run as expected. Their score will now be limited to 170 runs. But it is not a low score runs in T20. But relatively today's performance is good. Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mosaddek Hossain  and Litton Das all got good runs. Hope they can win today's match.

Bangladeshi batsmen's performance was quite good today. Especially Bangladesh's opener Miraz's performance was outstanding. For a long time we have not seen such responsible batting from any Bangladeshi opener. Even so, I would say that Bangladesh batsmen still have some weaknesses. UAE bowlers are not very strong but Bangladesh is not able to give a big target. Bangladesh should score more than 200 on such a pitch.

Bangladesh might've set the target of 200 runs, but things didn't work as the bowling from UAE is good. 170 runs is a good target for UAE. Saw the interview of UAE captain Rizwan mentioning they need to win the match against Bangladesh. Based on the previous match close end I believed this to be a win for UAE. At the starting UAE could've made some runs, but the bottom order contributed good and take to the score 137 runs. In the coming matches UAE will perform better.

That's very True as the last matches were dramatic but point to be noted that crowed Play an important role as in the case of supporting 😉. Furthermore this tournament requires strong batting, and again team India’s middle order looks vulnerable and hence if one is planning to wager on them then I would advise not to, because I feel that they may lose too easily against their opponent’s.

Lol. Seriously? This is the T-20 format that we are talking about where it's difficult to tell which team will win for sure regardless of how strong or weak they are. For example, majority of the gamblers expected Australia to win the recent series against India.

Result? They lost comfortably against the Indian side. Ruling out any team in this format because of their past performances is pure stupidity.

Saw the interview of UAE captain Rizwan mentioning they need to win the match against Bangladesh. Based on the previous match close end I believed this to be a win for UAE. At the starting UAE could've made some runs, but the bottom order contributed good and take to the score 137 runs. In the coming matches UAE will perform better.

The odds are sometimes too good to be true especially during live betting between UAE and Bangladesh, not sure what the odds makers are thinking most of the times as they are giving a good return to some of the betting options they are providing  . Bangladesh is not playing with their best team but hard to believe that UAE would rewrite history with an upset.

United Arab Emirates team is mostly comprised of third string or fourth string players from countries such as India and Pakistan. It is hard to believe that they will pose a challenge to a test team such as Bangladesh. But then it is T20 cricket, and always there is a possibility of an upset. I hope that the other test nations will also take notice of the ongoing series, and play more matches against teams such as Scotland, Namibia and Kenya. Teams like UAE and US are in an advantageous position, due to their privileged position within the ICC.

Everyone knows that Bangladesh will play badly. I think Bangladesh is a very bad team. If they play T20 against all the worst teams in the world, they won't win their matches. They are playing very badly now. Let's say their bowling is very poor. Apart from that, if the batting is good in one match, it will be bad in the next two matches.

Yes. It's their failure. But, That's not how it works. No team can beat their opposition just by wanting to win. Yeah, They can play well. But, the match result depends on overall team performance. Bangladesh has talents like Liton Kumar Das, Sakib Al Hasan, Afif Hossain and Nurul Hasan Sohan. But, Everyone won't perform every day. No team shouldn't rely on some specific players. But Bangladesh does that. After Tamim Iqbal retires from T20Is, Bangladesh struggles to set up their opening pairs. Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Sabbir Rahman are now trying to get the position, and Miraz is doing well already. But, I am afraid about Sabbir Rahman. After a long time, he returned to the team, but he couldn't perform as well.

I think Bangladesh team will not be as bad as he said. I would be wrong to say that Bangladesh is a good quality team but they play very well at times. But Bangladesh has good quality bowling and batting but they cannot do well.  I will blame them.  I think it is their failure. I think Bangladesh can do something good if they want.

If Bangladesh wants to improve their quality, then they first need to focus on domestic cricket. And till now, I can't see any improvement on this regard. After Ramiz Raja became the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), he implemented a number of quality reforms there and made PSL as one of the top franchise leagues in the world. No such work has been done by the BCB, and BPL remains one of the least preferred franchise T20 leagues as of now. As a result, the team is entirely dependent on some individual players such as Shakib and Litton. New players are unable to adjust with pressure at top level.

I watched some parts of the Bangladesh vs UAE match. UAE played very well. While the performance of the Bangladeshi bowlers was good, as usual, we saw a poor performance from the batsmen. Apart from Afif and Nurul Hasan, none of Bangladesh's batsmen could play well. Giving a target of just 159 runs is not enough for the T20 format. Bangladesh's top-order players should bat more responsibly.

Also, don't forget that the Bangladesh team was very young. Bangladesh is not good at T20Is. They were constantly losing matches with every country. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw Bangladesh Loses a T20I with Namibia or Hong Kong. Top-order batsman Sabbir Rahman got a chance after a few years and kept his scores under 10 in the last few matches. Not sure about Yasir Ali. But didn't see him bat well in recent games.

Pakistan vs England match is going to start very soon.  But this match looks like it will be a very good game.  Babar Azam looks set to do well for his team in Pakistan.  Babar Azam has played bad in few matches before but I think today Babar Azam will do well for his team.  However, it cannot be said that any team will win between these two teams. Both teams have good quality players.

12 hours to go for the 5th T20I match. It is a very lengthy series with a total of 7 T20 matches, and looks like PCB know how to maximize the revenue earning potential from big-3 tours. At this point, the series is tied at 2-2. For England, a series victory would be a huge morale booster ahead of the T20 World Cup. And for Pakistan, if they lose the series at home it will look really bad.

Apart from Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam, the other batsmen haven't rose to the occasion yet for Pakistan. And their bowling looks very weak, with Usman Qadir having conceded more than 10 runs per over so far. Some of the pacers (esp. Mohammad Hasnain and Shahnawaz Dahani are also proving to be very expensive).

Both bowling and bowling were very good earlier.  Bowling Mustafiz used to bowl very well before but now he can't bowl as well as before. Almost all the new players in Bangladesh now can't do anything good for him in any match. There are very few good quality players in the Bangladesh team now.  If they do well one day, they make the rest of the days very bad.  This is the status of the Bangladesh team.

India are in form at the moment and if they can beat South Africa then naturally their chances of winning the T20 World Cup will go up one another step.
