Is it just me or does anyone else think that the ICICI should have a reserve date for any matches like this, especially in important ICC tournaments?

I know that India is a better team and they would have won the match anyway even if the whole 40 overs of this match had been played. But I still cannot stop being disappointed not to see the actual final conclusion. The Indian women are obviously one of the best teams in this tournament and I think they are in really good form right now. If they do win the women's Asia cup tournament it won't be the most surprising thing for me.

Rain have interrupted the match. Once after waiting for the cut off time the match got cancelled. The result of the match is based on the DLS method. India Women team have won by 30 runs. This could've turned to be a bad day for India Women's team, luckily from the beginning India Women concentrated on taking wickets.

My question honestly is that what sort of pitch this was prepared in Guwahati, a total of more than 450 runs scored in just 40 overs,  it was not that both the sides bowled very bad but I don't know why almost all the balls looked half volley and so easy on bat for everyone. But yes this was a net practice session for a lot of batsmen today. South Africa coule have even won this if Miller would have accelerated a couple of overs before. Obviously south African bowlers are equally to be blamed.

It was obviously a batting pitch but in no way supposed to be a feast for the batters. It showed something for the bowlers in the 2nd inning.

Indian bowlers did an excellent job in the first 10 overs and they were dominating in power play. Okay in the next 5 overs but lost the track in the last final overs, on the other hand, Proteas bowlers were just horrible.

South Africans didn't bowl much half volley tho they were much worse with their full tosses. Also with the new kind of batting technique in T-20, batsmen now started using their crease very effectively, which helps batsmen to make even good lengths into half volley and sometimes yorkers too (with deep crease and back hand punch).

IMO Buvama's 7 ball duck and De Cock slow start was the main reason. The winning margin wasn't t big but they were never in control despite Miller's effort. They were just playing catch up throughout their chase.

South Africa fought hard for the target of 238 runs given by India and lost the match by 16 runs. David Miller's willow for South Africa was excellent. Miller's willow came from 106* runs from 47 balls at a strike rate of 225.53. The achievement is possible due to the fighting spirit. As seen in the Indian batsmen.  The match ended with a bone-to-neck fight and the match was enjoyable

I thought South Africa gonna won that match but at the end  India successfully put them under pressure and that helped India to win.  But both team bowlers can't do well on that match  but the performance of the Batmens was commendable. Specifically David Miller, Quinton De kock from South Africa and Suriya kumar  Yadav , Rahul , Virat kohli did good in that match .  

In this game, I thought that South Africa will win the match at first. But then India took possession of the match. However, India did not bowl well. After that, South Africa put the batting under a lot of pressure. But I think the game was very well played.  And did South Africa play a bit of a poor game in this match.

The Indian bowlers bowled very well at the beginning of South Africa's innings. South Africa was able to collect only 29 runs after losing 2 wickets in the first 5 overs. Till 10 overs we have seen enough good bowling from the Indian bowlers. But after de Kock and Miller came to the crease, the Indian bowlers could not perform well due to their aggressive batting. South Africa collected 151 runs in the last 10 overs. They collected an average of 15 runs per over. We have not been getting good performances from Indian bowlers for a long time.

Quinton de Kock and Miller thoroughly exposed the limitations of the bowling attack just as the batting appears to be peaking. There is a feeling among me that the Indian team is going back to the old days where their batting used to win the majority of the matches. There was no difference between their bowling and the average level. Nowadays, batsmen cannot score 200 plus in every match, so you need some kind of bowling attack. In the bowling department, they need more variety. There is always a focus on batsmen, there is always an emphasis on batsmen. It is for this reason that everyone in India wishes to become a batsman instead of a bowler.

The way Pakistan played its very much clear that they have zero intent to win the match. Also there performance in 6th T20I was not how they played in first 5 T20I. Anyways done is done and we have to move on. Its very much clear that Pakistan won't be able to perform well in WC with this squad.

Agreed. India bowled like crap towards the end. There are very, very few bowlers who nail death overs properly among all teams in the T-20 format.

India, England, Australia, Pakistan among these few teams are likely to become T20 World Cup champions.

I would exclude Pakistan after watching their recent performances against England. Australia, England, India and New Zealand are the best contenders for the World Cup trophy in my opinion.

The point is they match recently played is just to fix the seats for the coming tour not to win the match one annoying thing is about the audience is one thing we say is Babar and Rizwan dominate maximum match and middle order never gets enough time to perform if both gets out first  we blame that they didn't performed what to do with middle order as both are not confident on them so they play slow game.

Pakistan won, really target was so bad by the batting line up of the Pakistan today failed to make a good total still, Pakistani bowlers did amazing job and won the match by the 5 Runs well, that was good match of series as hear patients can watch it hahaha. Third and last T20I match between India and South Africa will be played today, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. The news from Indian camp is that they are going to rest both Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. And for India, this is the last T20 match before the world cup starts on 16th October. India is placed in Group1, along with South Africa, Pakistan and Bangladesh. They will be looking for a better performance this time, after the debacle they had last time (they failed to advance to the knockout stage in 2021).
