RCB VS RR

RCB is currently ranked 6th on IPL points table whereas RR is at the top. The major difference between these two teams is that RCB is dependent on the performance of three batters and the RR is performing like a batting unit. Except MD Shiraz other bowlers in RCB have been inconsistent. I won't be suprised if RR defeats RCB today. I hope this match should be a high scoring one.

Rajasthan Royals had a place to win, their performance in the last over was very pathetic. Had Ashwin not been Catch out, Rajasthan Royals would have won for sure. Even if the ball that got out had gone outside the boundary, Rajasthan would have won and the fall of Ashwin's wicket then put the team under pressure for runs. Royal Challengers Bangalore could not score more runs in any batting without two batsmen. I am very sad that Rajasthan lost because of this short run because I bet for Rajasthan Royals. Because the margin of victory in the few matches that were won in the past was huge, that's why I'm facing a loss by betting on Rajasthan in this match.

~This was a good win for RCB against RR. After all, RR is the best team this season so far. In the end the match did end up getting very close. It was certainly very enjoyable for the fans. Toward the later part of the match, I thought RCB would do it once again. I thought they would lose this match. But they ended up defending quite well.

RR started the season with some strong performance but in the past few games they are completely messing up the chases as they are struggling to assign the batting position for certain players and then they are loosing wickets during crucial situation and loosing balls which is not helping their case either.
Was expecting Shimron Hetmyer to stay till the end but he was run out while wasting too many balls. Coaching staff needs to focus on preparing them to pace the innings if they need to start chasing totals again.

Losing crucial wickets is the prime reason. In today's match we were able to see this happen with the wickets of Padikkal, Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. If those wickets have extended for few more overs, atleast they could've brought the match under their control. Bowlers contributed good at the end overs, and failure of batsman too a reason. Hetmyer managed to score 3 runs of 9 balls at the end overs. The team that is at the strong position have started to experience continued loss. The team needs to find their mistakes and correct at the earliest.

The thing is, if RR was able to actually perform better, they would have been the winner. But because they were not able to actually perform well, in the end, RCB was able to win. But at one point it was looking like RR was going to win the match quite easily. But in the end, it was not the case because of the reasons you mentioned. And when the players are getting run out, it is an indication that they are not confident in themselves, and also with the partner that they have on the field.

Congratulations RCB for defeating the RR in a highly thrilling match. RR Won the toss and elected to bowl first. In RCB batting combination of Virat Kohli AB de Villiers, and Glenn Maxwell for the RCB has been reliable and Scored 189 in 20 Overs. They may have been the team main performers. In RR trent boult and Sandeep Sharma picked up 2, 2 wickets but  RCB demonstrated their batting prowess thanks to Glenn Maxwell who scored a scorching 77 runs off just 44 balls and also contributed two excellent overs and Faf du Plessis brilliant 62 runs helping to 7 run victory for RCB Maxwell was named Player of the Match for his outstanding Performance.

Despite losing last game RR are at number 2 while RCB position is at number 5. The competition is still very much open for top 7 teams while teams like DC, SRH and KKR are very much out from the next round race.
Virat Kohli was out on very first ball of RCB innings. Its Maxwell and Faf du Plessis who scored runs from RCB yesterday. RR had a  second wicket partnership of 98 runs between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal but still weren't able to chase the target..RR are a bit unlucky in run chase.

Rajasthan Royals lost the match very close in the last over.  Ravichandran Ashwin was completely beaten by a slower ball in the first ball of the 20th over, but despite being completely defeated, the ball hit the ball on his bat and the ball went out of bounds behind the wicket keeper. 
Ravichandran Ashwin reduced the run gap by 2 runs off the next ball. He hit a boundary off the third ball as well.  Rajasthan Royals were still dreaming of victory but when Ravichandran Ashwin got out in the fourth ball, Rajasthan Royals' chances of victory were completely gone. Despite taking two singles in the next two balls, the batsmen of Rajasthan Royals failed to win the team in the end. And in the last over, RCB secured a seven-run win over Rajasthan Royals.

Hyderabad collected 42 runs in 7 overs with the loss of just one wicket. If the Delhi bowlers can pick up a couple of quick wickets then perhaps the match will be in Delhi's control.
