Project Veritas is a very well respected and legitimate source. It is only "fake news" because the work they are doing has been so absolutely devastating to corrupt organizations.
James O'Keefe is a joke, imo. PV makes cable news (from Fox to MSNBC) seem totally unbiased without any agenda (which is obviously not true). They found a drunk Bernie Bro and baited him into saying a bunch of stupid shit - red meat for alt-right blogs like zerohedge - but that's about it. Like I said, people like you just find it convenient to dismiss it as "fake news" because it is so absolutely effective and crushing to your preferred narrative. That was a Sanders campaign manager on video advocating for political violence, also known as terrorism under federal statutes. TIL drinking turns you into a terrorist. Who knew... This guy was an Iowa field organizer. He was making ~$150 a day to organize volunteers to go knock on doors in Iowa. Basically show up in the morning and give each volunteer a route (that someone else figured out). Volunteers come and go, so paying someone to do the basic management is more efficient. (They would be trained by someone higher up) He was probably interviewed and hired by someone 4-5 levels below the actual campaign manager (Faiz Shakir).

The left are quite fond of imagining themselves as revolutionaries and anyone right of Mao as being Nazis. This isn't an outlier.

Haters gonna hate. I'm glad that you and others are keeping them in the lower levels of the organizations. Later, perhaps, haters and their hate will be more socially accepted and more ... promotable. For now, though, you think the minions have it under control?

If this is for real, does Bernie even denounce this stuff? Does he even know about it? It might be hurting his campaign. Or is it helping him?
"I'll Straight Up Get Armed":A second Bernie Sanders field organizer has been caught on undercover camera extolling the virtues of gulags - only this one can barely contain himself over arming himself for the "fucking revolution."
"I'm ready to tear bricks up and start fighting," says Martin Weissgerber - who deleted his Twitter account Tuesday morning after Project Veritas released their latest hit. "I'll straight up get armed ... I'm ready for the fucking revolution, bro."
Weissgerber also dreams of 'dissolving the Senate, House of Representatives and Judicial Branch' so that 'somebody like Bernie Sanders and a cabinet of people can make all the decisions for the climate.' That's what we need. A good Dem fight.
Tulsi Gabbard Sues Hillary Clinton Over 'Russian Asset' RemarkFiled on Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, Gabbard's attorneys allege that Clinton "smeared" Gabbard's "political and personal reputation," according to The Hill."Tulsi Gabbard is a loyal American civil servant who has also dedicated her life to protecting the safety of all Americans," said Gabbard's attorney Brian Dunne in a statement."Rep. Gabbard's presidential campaign continues to gain momentum, but she has seen her political and personal reputation smeared and her candidacy intentionally damaged by Clinton's malicious and demonstrably false remarks."
n a podcast released in October, Clinton said she thought Republicans were "grooming" a Democratic presidential candidate for a third-party bid. She also described the candidate as a favorite of the Russians.
Clinton did not name the candidate but it was clear she was speaking about Gabbard. Hillary hints that Tulsi Gabbard being 'groomed' as third-party candidate

The company was run by two of Bernie Sanders' wife's friends out of a suburban house in Virginia.

During Monday's broadcast of Sean Hannity's nationally syndicated radio show, Senior Contributor to Breitbart News Peter Schweizer explained how 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) funneled what he deemed to be "taxpayer money" and "school money" to members of his family.
While discussing his new book, Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite, Schweizer said, "Bernie over the course of his 30-plus years in public office has funneled huge sums of money to his family. That includes hiring family members even when it was not justified in the Burlington city governments. But more specifically, the 2016 campaign, there was this mysterious media-buying company called Old Town Media that was set up."

No. We agree on something. As if we had a whole barnyard of chickens running around with their heads chopped off. It's okay, though. Because one prediction is true: The direction they are all going is down.

Update for Iowa polling - https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/25/us/politics/democratic-iowa-poll-sanders.htmlSanders - 25%Buttigieg - 18% Biden - 17% Warren - 15% Race is getting spicy. Sanders is up 7 points in the latest poll with Iowa less than two weeks away. Sanders is also down only 0.7 points in the RealClearPolitics polling average to Joe Biden. He's pretty much closed the gap completely and Warren's attack on Sanders regarding the "women can't be President" bullshit has backfired so brilliantly. Well played Warren, truly. Other than that, this debate was boring. I think Joe Biden has this race locked up at this point. Without Bernie or Warren conceding to each other's campaign, the progressive left vote will be split between them while Biden gets the plurality...
And my prediction was dead wrong here. Bernie's surging in the polls and I don't really get it. This is Biden's race to lose.

Biden's name being repeated in the impeachment context might be dragging him down, but I'm not really following that shit closely so not sure. I don't mind it - I'd be happier with having my bet on Sanders rather than Biden.

I don't mind it - I'd be happier with having my bet on Sanders rather than Biden. My prediction, which is clearly worthless at this point considering I've missed the mark thus far, was that Biden would have crushed Trump in the general while Sanders would have struggled. A recent Emmerson poll shows that Trump and Biden are tied which is mind boggling considering the lead Biden had. Trump is leading in swing states as well so it's plausible that Trump could come away with an electoral victory while narrowly loosing the popular vote for an exact repeat of the 2016. Granted, we aren't anywhere close to the general election so I'm speculating at this point. Also on a side note, the Bernie or Bust folks have returned. Nearly a 3rd of Sanders supporters can't commit to supporting the democratic nominee if Sanders doesn't win in addition to the 16% that wouldn't support the elected nominee. I would not be surprised if Sanders is the strongest candidate to beat Trump given the current data.

Lovely. I have some friends who stopped talking to me 3 years ago when I pointed out (during Christmas dinner of course, being the classy person that I am) that they elected Trump by writing in Sanders.

Yeah, they must not have been paying attention in high school the day they taught the part of the constitution that deemed all write-ins be counted towards Trump's vote totals.

If they wrote in Bernie, they were essentially choosing not to vote for Clinton, which directly benefited Trump. So yeah, the Bernie write-ins definitely gave Trump a boost.

They definitely didn't pay attention in school, math classes in particular and anything related to stats, logic, or common sense, as TwitchySeal pointed out. "Busters" category also overlaps significantly with people who don't vote in primaries and expect someone else to do it for them. The turnout is so abysmally low that if 31%+16% = 47% of all Bernie supporters showed up at the primaries he'd get the nomination in a landslide.

There needs to be a NOTA (None of the Above) for every election. This would help get a better sense of the electorate.

NOTA actually signifies that the ppl chose to reach the booth and did not approve of the current candidates. In my college elections it so happened that once the winning margin was far lesser than the NOTA votes, next time the groups started taking voters more seriously and took their feedback in their campaigns and candidates... But i guess the US has a far more inclusive primary.

There needs to be a NOTA (None of the Above) for every election. This would help get a better sense of the electorate. There already is, it's called not voting. If a significant portion of the population doesn't vote then many reasons can be ascribed to explain why people don't vote: the people are content with how things are; they like both candidates, etc... However, if one shows up at the voting booth and selects NOTA then the ambiguity is gone.
