well I think monitoring the market can be right or wrong depending on your motive of doing so, for example if you are on a weekly DCA accumulation and you've observed that at some days, or some time in the day, the markets are always down, then you can monitor the market throughout the week and find a very good entry point for yourself to accumulate more quantity at the same price, without leaving out your accumulation for the week due to over monitoring. Optionally you may not even need to monitor the market, as long as you have the funds available for your purchase, you can setup buy orders at the price you want to purchase so that when the markets cuts through those prices, your buy order is executed automatically and you should also have plans to check on your order before the week finally runs out and if it doesn't get executed, you buy at the current price regardless in order to fulfill your weekly purchase obligations.

in other ways, if you are just monitoring the market without plan and expecting to only buy at dips or whenever the dips present itself or set buy orders and wait for however time it takes for the buy order to be executed as someone still early in their accumulation journey, then you are rather being a trader rather than an investor and your accumulation journey might not be as effective and fruitful as supposed.

Their investment of 2018 alone has met a whooping 33x as at $105k, which other business would they do and it would give them such gains? would you convince me that such a person who has not sold since then that his investment is not ending well for them now even if their holding target was 7 years and they decide to sell now? of course even if such persons decides to hold longer and has a target of 10 - 20 years, then he has more profits to enjoy and whenever his holding period ends, his investment ended very well for him.  

Perhaps you lack information about the profitability of bitcoin investment and the compounding effect bitcoin price appreciation has on holding for a longer period as compared to succumbing to short-term gains as you are describing.

please tell me why were are accumulating bitcoin? If not for buy and hold for the bull market to take place then we sell.

Engagement in bitcoin is of two types, Trading and Investing

accumulating bitcoin and waiting for the nearest bull run to sell for short-term profits is mere trading.

Investment into bitcoin is about you as an investor having an accumulation target you wish to reach, then using available discretionary income(income remaining after your expenses must have been attended, or cold cash) to invest into bitcoin continually using an accumulation strategy (DCA or lump sum, but not just waiting for the dip as a newbie) to continue accumulating bitcoin for a long term 4 - 10 years or more which is called your holding period before you can either choose to sell off, or continue holding for a longer period of time in order to increase your chances of more profitability on your investment.

You invest into bitcoin to secure your financial future and to hedge against inflation, and if you continue to mess around with trading/gambling with bitcoin as you are insinuating, you might end up messing yourself up and end up with less bitcoin or none as the case may be, and you may end up regretting the fact that you were gambling with bitcoin at a time you should be investing into it

It's not just all about buying bitcoins and accumulating them,also know  when to sell,Because too much accumulation,will not end well for you and you might as well miss out the opportunity of bull market.
How can you achieve this,it's very simple all you have to do is to stay informed on the market trends.

You sound a bit distracted, and also we are not getting into discussions about trading in this thread. 

You seem lost, but also as a seemingly presumptuous newbie, and you come off as a bit of a know it all troll, too - like you are just trying to clutter the thread with superficial and baloney talking points, and your talking points are not even close to being on topic... so if you could at least be on topic, that would be a good start.

Yes, we get it.  You seem to be a trader rather than an investor, and for some reason that seems better to you, yet at the same time, if you are so convinced about trading, what is your track record over 4-10  years or longer?  Of course, the longer the timeline, then the less likely that you, as a supposed trader, would have had been been able to beat even a straight-forward DCA strategy into bitcoin. 

So, do you have any actual experience trading or investing with bitcoin beyond your forum registration date, a mere 3 days ago?  Maybe you can start out by at least letting us know how come you want to project yourself as such a know it all? 

What is your bitcoin trading experience and is it more than a couple of cycles?  such as 8 years or more?  And, even if you are able to assert that you have a trading history, that still would not even make it to be on topic, unless you are trying to proclaim that you are investing but trading at the same time, which still would not be on topic in this thread.
