Trying to teach others when you should be the one learning from this thread and other threads in the forum will only make you have a wrong impression about bitcoin because you don't want to calm down and learn. If newbies decide to invest in bitcoin for the long term and they use the money they will not need for 4-10 years or more and invest in bitcoin, if there is a dump in the market, they will not be bothered by it; they will just keep accumulating their bitcoin consistently since they don't use the money they will need urgently and invest in bitcoin.

I am not sure if any of us has to believe in BTC.. that sounds like religion.
It is good to have a plan and then to try to stick with our plan, and ongoing buying of bitcoin seems like a good plan.  

I personally prefer weekly buys rather than daily buys, but surely I can understand that if a guy is still early in his bitcoin journey, he might initially establish his position with daily buys.

It is acceptable for everyone to buy Bitcoin DCA method weekly, but Bitcoin investment is useful enough according to the person's ability not daily to be self-sufficient.  I noticed it started buying bitcoins from November 2020, but I think it is capable of holding for a long time.  Because it is possible to hold Bitcoins depending on the situation, DCA method is the most convenient and easy to hold Bitcoins.  
A long-term Bitcoin investment can result in long-term sustainability, but the Bitcoin DCA method is most useful on a weekly basis, and Bitcoin purchases are within the discretion of holders.

Why don't you talk in terms of your own experience rather than abstract concepts about how DCA is so  great blah blah blah...  Have you even started to buy bitcoin or are you just theorizing about it?    

There is high possibility that the fellow have not made the first Bitcoin purchase via the DCA method as his comment shows someone reciting what he read about a concept. Probably he got overly excited seeing the number of people talking about the DCA method in this thread and therefore want to feel among the crowd. I have seen this happen a couple of times especially those dealing with intense peer pressure. So, don't let that bother you as I believe with time the fellow will really see the need to start taking his Bitcoin investment seriously.

The DCA method is a great method but it is not how great the method of buying Bitcoin is that determine success but how you manage the purchased Bitcoin in terms of if you are able to eliminate anything that might destroy the purpose of the investment so that the investment can be held for considerable amount of time that will make you realize the full potential of Bitcoin. Yes, it is very risky to expect short-term profits, especially in Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is very volatile in the short term, the price always fluctuates, and seeing this short-term price fluctuation, the investor can panic and sell the holding, which can bring a disappointing result.

Regardless of how big the person Bitcoin stash is, selling it off at this present rate is too much of a loss to me because we are still in the early days of Bitcoin, and $100k is nowhere near it peak price, so for an individual to sell now, it's either he is a trader or he has just few days to live just as you have already said, because no true Bitcoineer will sell too early and will be ok being a no coiner, without waiting for years and milking the best possible dividend from his Bitcoin investment, it's unheard of, unless that person doesn't really knows the potential Bitcoin has, because anyone that knows it value and potential wouldn't act in such a manner.

I also came across this on MS's page on x and in reality, it happens like this most of the time. When you think about selling always have it in mind that it's bullish 4 to 5 years from now. You are very correct the most important thing is to hold Bitcoin for long term, in other for you to make huge amount of profit with a relax mind then you have to hold for a very long term, and for me I will suggest 10 to 20 years but you can do from 5 and above if you wish, it will even be better if you use it as your retirement plan, one of things that is seen as something that can cause you your money in Bitcoin investment is it's volatility however long term holding is the only thing that can defeat it, so as a Bitcoin long term investor you don't have an issue with Bitcoin volatility, and yes there's risk also in long term holding but the is low compared to Bitcoin trading.
As a Bitcoin long term holder you can still decide to try Bitcoin trading but it should be done with 1% of your discretionary income, some set of long term holders trade for fun someone told me instead of him to gamble as fun he rather trade Bitcoin for fun and still continue with his long term consistent accumulation and holding, however if you know it will cause you restlessnes then focus on your accumulation and holding.

The thing is that you can even predict the market and if you are expecting to make profit in a short term investment you can't even tell if this will be possible. If you enter the market with the mindset to make profit in a short term investment, you can be disappointed because at this point you will be so desperate and expecting so much because in your mind you are expecting profit in a short time.

I have gotten some nice knowledge concerning bitcoin investment in this thread and am still learning in the process 700 pages of bitcoin knowledge and still counting all thanks to JJG and other reputable fellow in this thread.
If you are a HODLer keep buying and hodling bitcoin if you are still procastinating on when to buy you can buy today if you have your discretionary income already starting buying and HODL you can begin with little amount and gradually increase according to the level of your discretionary using the DCA strategy.
