@111magic Ignore TheGer - he is an asshole that is too pigheaded to understand that people have unfairly lost out and feel let down by CAI. He apparently is overjoyed that he contributed to other peoples misery and likes to rub salt in the wound at every opportunity.

As far as your CAI go, there is no way that they can be exchanged now - There was a total of 1.6Mil CAIx available and they have all been taken. Send a PM to TheStuhlman with your CAI and CAIx addresses, as well as your balance before the 18th of this month. He offered earlier in this thread to use his own equipment to mine on the multipool to help earn your balance in CAIx - I don't know if this offer is still open, but is your best chance. You won't get it back straight away, but he may eventually come through.

You're not the only person in this situation - I can only hope it works out OK for us all in the end.

You're being quite unfair to TheGer. He's obviously a bit corrosive but I don't see the guy as an asshole. Actually he's kind of entertaining...

This whole "master node" deal raises some questions for me.

It reads to me like either:

1.  staking isn't going to work if you have less than a Tier 5 amount of CAIx

or

2.  There is bonus extra minting for those mater nodes, issuing an equal number of coins as are associated at that tier level.

If its the second one, does that mean dilution for us smaller holders?  i.e. will our smaller CAIx holdings get devalued by the minting to master nodes?

what's the price of electricity in china?

Don't worry lenhi46, The Stuhl works very seriously and to my knowledge always honored his words.
This is rare to find someone with this kind of spirit nowadays.

Because it makes delay the purchase and sale on mintpal

ok, so you're a dumping miner. Nothing wrong per se, but this is kind of in the opposite direction of the purpose of the coin.
Anyway, the longer you wait the higher the price, look at the trendline.

No! I sold to submit electricity bill this month! : ((

Nobody unfairly lost out.  Everybody had the same opportunity to cash in their CAI.  You didn't pay attention to your investment and it went up in smoke.

I hope for your sake that you're not serious.  If someone started a company, sold you some shares, changed their name with a month's notice, and sold your shares in the new company to someone else just because they claimed them first, would you call it anything other than a scam?  I think those of us who got left out are being extremely restrained with our objections.  And I don't understand why those of you who still have a stake in the company aren't more concerned about the way this was handled.

Both the execution and response to complaints reek of amateur hour, and more people here should be concerned about the way that your investment is being managed.  I like a lot of the ideas behind CAI, which is why I find all of this so frustrating--and I don't think I'm the only one who feels that way.  And to the developers, I would like to remind you that it is typically only a very small portion of dissatisfied clients who speak up about their issues.  For every one of us who says something here about this, there are probably many more who will just walk away, never come back, and maybe direct their complaints to other potential investors.

From what i see this was put out there very clear.
And people where given a chance to exchange.
Sorry but this is crypto 1 month is like a year in real life.
You don't buy Altcoins and just not check on your investment for months.

Unless you are buying old coins and trying to call fud or just retarded.
There are several devs out there that have made several coins , when they make a new coin you don't get the chance to trade up.
This Dev gave that chance you did not take it.
this is CAIX not CAI.

I don't even understand this sorry...

1. You can stake with 1 coin so I don't even understand what you're getting at.

2. There is no bonus minting.  Every coin in existence mints the same amount, there is no bonus.  I can only assume you mean the dividends paid out to nodes monthly.  These are not some mystery coins minted out of thin air.  This is revenue that has been generated.

How exactly do you think coins are getting devalued?  The only new coins coming into existence are staked into existence by all coins currently existing.  No mystery here.

This whole "master node" deal raises some questions for me.

It reads to me like either:

anynews about this coin?

Stuhlman is still deliberating what announcement to announce next. Now, honestly - what a terrible idea to put the masternodes requirements 2k-20k and not give a single piece of info on how dividends will be calculated. Stuhlman you managed to bring the price back to pre-caishen/caix announcement. Congratulations!

The pool does not work, I am on it for the last 3 days but it does not send to me a single coin.

until the 27th I did receive payments ~ every 24 houres. But no payments since that date... we are aware that the pools is still under development which may cause delays in payment, still more active communication would be very much appreciated by investors and miners.

cheers

The payments appear to be processed manually - as such it is when the pool ops get around to it.. Don't worry yourself - you will not lose out!
