Michael Page does have quite strong leg strength and very fast punches, even several times in Bellator he did unexpected things that made his opponents really feel how tough Michael Page legs were.
But all of that can't necessarily be repeated in fight against Kevin Holland because Holland is also quite strong fighter, this will be wild fight and we will see how the two of them hit each other to knock them out.
But what Michael Page did to Santos really surprised everyone because it happened when Michael Page did jumping knee to Santos face and hit him right in the skull on the forehead.

Page was really scary for every opponent in bellator and even the rupture of Evangelista Santos' skull became a warning for his opponents at that time to avoid kicking his knee when fighting, in addition to having a strong knee kick of course Page is known as a kikcboxing fighter who is indeed very agile and difficult to beat at bellator, that's why when Page entered the UFC for the first time after gaining a lot of experience in bellator makes me quite sure if Page will be able to become a fighter who is also able to provide fear for his opponents in the Ufc later.

As evidenced when today debut match Page managed to defeat the very experienced UFC Holland fighter in the octagon by winning by points in the third round, Page debut victory in the UFC certainly signals that he is now ready to face whoever his opponent will be and victory at UFC 299 will be the beginning for Page to continue his career in the UFC and does not rule out the possibility that he will be one of the fighters who is ready to challenge every fight for a fight Degree.

Of course, because Michael Page is mainstay fighter who has always been knockout artist in Bellator and by joining the UFC, several fighters in his class will feel how great Michael Page is in the octagon in destroying his opponents.
Talking about his strong kicks and twice causing his opponent to suffer fractures to the head is really quite scary and anyone who experiences this condition will definitely regret having fought Michael Page.
I believe he is capable of being great champion holding several belts in the UFC, just needing time and waiting for his decision in fighting for title that may be above him.

Yes, Michael Page managed to beat Kevin Holland with absolute points in that fight and of course this is clear proof that Michael Page is truly great fighter.
Fight was very fierce because both fighters tried to gain an advantage over each other and be able to achieve victory more quickly, just look at how Michael Page threw several kicks and spinning elbows even though they didn't hit Kevin Holland accurately.

One month left until UFC 300 and Tsarukyan vs Oliveira fight, and Charles recently posted in Instagram, that he has got a cut.

I hope that does not interfere and wont influence on his performance, or the fight got cancelled (previously, Olivera got eye cut in 2 weeks before fight against Makhachev and the fight got cancelled). Btw, he is an underdog in a fight against Tsarukyan.

That's not good. It's hard to judge how deep the cut was from that photo alone, but if it's deep, the healing could take longer than a month. Quick search by google tells me it can take 2-3 months for larger cuts.
If it's deep, I hope his team contacted UFC to make sure he gets the best available care to speed the recovery.
If he pulls out again, that would be a disaster. Although there's still enough time to find a back-up fighter (unless they already have one). Looking at the possible options from the 155 class, the most probable back up would be Chandler (if he still wants to fight) or Gamrot (who already defeated Arman once and came out of his fight against Dos Anjos victorious and unharmed.

Even if the cut is not very serious, it could still affect Oliveira's preparation quite significantly, as he probably won't be able to do hard sparring, whether striking or grappling.

A very unfortunate fight for Almeida. He did his job well in the 1st, but got careless with that clumsy takedown attempt in the 2nd. You don't often see people getting KO'ed from that position, but yet, those short hammer fists of Blaydes turned out to be powerful enough to finish the fight.
That's a shame because Almeida had a good momentum in his career and was on the rise. If he had won, it's highly probable that he would get a shot at the interim belt (which shouldn't be a thing, but hey).
Now Blaydes will probably get to fight Aspinall simply because there are no better options unless Gane steps up to the challenge. None of those fights will be a good option for Tom, but that's better than wasting your prime years waiting for Jon Jones.

Judging how good Aspinall is and that he got a ton of moves to get into Almeida and all Aspinall needs to do is just defend those takedowns then that is not good at all, Jailton Almeida needs to improve his striking.

I don't think losing to Charles would disqualify Arman from being in the top 5. Many great fighters have lost to Charles, including Gaethje, who probably will get a title shot if he wins with Holloway. Arman has already fought Islam and lost only by decision, and he is much better fighter now than he was back then. That's not something to be discounted.

Yeah the guys at Chute Boxe are known for their hard sparring.  That sht's bound to happen from time to time.  I just hope the fight won't be cancelled.  But I'm not to sure for Oliveira anymore...  Seems like he's not as hungry as he was before and before his resurgence, he was seen to give easily in some of his fights.  But that was before blonde Oliveira years ago.  So we'll see what's up on April.

But it's not looking good when it happens two times in a row. especially when there's a risk of the main event getting cancelled.
that's just showing a lack of professionalism, i.e. not wearing protective gear, although that doesn't 100% prevent from such injuries, as evidenced by Tyson Fury.

Tuivasa is a slight favourite, but he's coming off 3 losses in a row so could get overly desperate and chaotic. I think if Tybura keeps a cool head, he might shift odds in his favour.

Today Is another weekend where we will have fights, I'm looking at at least 4 fights. the first fight was between Thiago Moisés and Mitch Ramirez. well, Thiago Moisés is being seen as the favorite by the bookmakers with odds of 1.25, he was coming from 2 consecutive victories but then lost in the fight against Benoit St. Denis, in a fight he lost by knockout. on the other side we have Mitch Ramirez who was born in the USA, he is 31 years old and has 5 years of professional career, in my opinion Thiago Moisés will come out of this fight with victory, he has much more experience, although in his last fight he had He was defeated, but I still see him coming out victorious in this fight.

Joshua Culibao will fight against Danny Silva, Joshua Culibao is being seen as the favorite by the bookmakers, the odds for him to come out of this fight with a victory are at 1.53, on the other side we have Danny Silva who is 27 years old. age and has 5 years of professional career, he had 9 fights of which he won 8 fights and lost in just 1 fight, but the bookmakers are not seeing Danny Silva as the favorite perhaps because he doesn't have much experience, in any case this odds of 2.60 for Danny Silva I still think they are underestimating him a lot. Danny Silva may be able to surprise in this fight

Natan Levy will fight against Mike Davis, in this fight Mike Davis is being seen as the favorite and given the low odds in his favor I highly doubt that we will see any surprises in this fight in relation to the fighter who will win this fight. Mike Davis is 31 years old and was born in New York, USA. He has 9 years of professional career, but he only had 12 fights of which he won 10 fights and lost 2 fights and on the other side we have Natan Levy who is 32 years old and was born in France. In my opinion, the odds for this fight seem to reflect well on the outcome this fight will have, in other words, Mike Davis will come out of this with victory

How much could PPV lose if Charles's fight is cancelled?  Not good for business. I think everybody is expecting him to win too, he got to fight.

Not that Ngannou needed that defeat to learn something, but athletes needed and example that you just cant go from other sports and compete on the same level with pros. If someone is able to run, does not mean he can compete with sprinters. He used to be a predator, not is isnt a boxer nor mma fighter. Now it is left that someone from PFL should finish him and his career would end.

The Reality is there but because he nearly defeated Tyson Fury he thought that he could also go toe-to-toe with other Heavyweights picking Anthony Joshua was a terrible mistake as Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have different techniques, and Tyson Fury underestimated Francis Ngannou that time but I guess this is how far Francis Ngannou could go in boxing and even though he lost against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua he still got a ton of money with this 2 fights.

I think we just expect too much from him after he nearly beat Fury. It disappointed many people when Ngannou showed his way to go into boxing.

There are disappointing fights from last week's event. I guess I was also expecting Chito to do exactly how he did it the first time. Also, Jailton Almeida risked himself by trying to takedown Blaydes in a crazy manner. I think Blaydes may be able to fight Jones if he beats Aspinall in their rematch. 

For sure many have expected Francis Ngannou would put up a good fight against Anthony Joshua but sad to say it was not worth the watch as Anthony Joshua was dominating Ngannou, while Francis Ngannou didn't know what he was doing for this fight, I am sure he has acquired a lot of money in their fight, men and I really miss Ngannou fight again in the MMA and not in the boxing ring, he should abolish the hope that he can be a boxer, it is OK that he has tried it and make big money for himself, but becoming a boxer I really think that is something he can never achieve with his style and technique right now he can not defeat any Heavyweight boxer I think if Ngannou and Fury would fight again it will be Francis Ngannou's defeat.

So, any comment on the past event? I have watched it. From the wikipedia I have found that there were lots of submission on the event; think I am going to find a review of it. Also those two split fights, either they were too boring and hard to choose the winner, or they were really close fights?

And again we have a eye poke (btw isnt if funny that two fighters that dont have a wiki page (not very popular) are co-main event fight? ). Many times I have said already, that UFC need new gloves.

^  As said...  It's gonna be underdog city.    And it did, even OSP won as a huge underdog.  :/  There were close calls for a couple of those underdogs tho.  Like Rodriguez, I think the other guy should've won.

I think they gave away the hint already when Sean considered a 3rd fight even before the 2nd started. We should have considered it a good hint that the fight will be a decision and that a 3rd fight will be coming.

Whats next for Tuivasa? It bet for this man to win lol such a careless. He was winning. He could prevent that takedown by just pulling Tybura up but couldn't resist punching, the worse part he gave up back.

I didn't realise Tybura was 38 years old already. That could explain why 7 years younger Tuivasa was considered a slight favourite.
It was short and intense, for a moment it looked like Tuivasa was about to KO Tybura, but Marcin used his reach advantage to keep him away and then went for that takedown which resulted in some nice ground-and-pound from a back-mount position and later in a clumsy but effective rear naked choke.
I don't think either of them could go for the full five rounds, so early finish was more than certain.
Big win for Tybura. I don't think he'll ever get a chance for a title shot at this stage of his career, but he proved to belong in the top 10.

^  Now if there was an event that's a filler of a filler I think that would be it...  :/  The only guy worth watching is Cameron Saimaan imo.  The guy is a good prospect and could be a top 5 one day.  So let's see how he does after an upset loss vs Christian Rodriguez who have disappointed a couple of his last opponents Rosas and Dulgarian.  Lawl.  

I'll prolly still end up watching the event tho.

It was a good enough strategy and it was the weakness of most strikers but for me, the execution of his takedown was very poorly, Curtis Blaydes knew when it was coming so it was his poor execution and Blaydes can see the takedown all over on Jailton Almeida's face, that is why he knew when it is coming what am I saying is at least make a fake execution so Curtis Blaydes would not notice when he will perform his takedowns, he can even hone some quick striking lesson so he can face that he can strike well, but still aiming for the takedown in this game strategy are your ally and deception is your enemies, enemy.

If he loses to Charles Oliveira it will be his 4th loss I really think it is a better opportunity to show how good he is at fighting the one that has the champion and you are right that losing to Charles Oliveira would not be a disqualification for him in getting into the top, however, it is an obstacle he needs to defeat as Charles Oliveira is another pinnacle for him to conquer and if he isn't able to conquer Charles Oliveira then he isn't able to defeat Islam Makhachev yet.

Lets not forget that during those 5 years Islam also did not sit still and has gained in skills. Since then, did Arman faced either unranked or those who are in lower ranking tier. When Makhachev faced mostly ranked guys and finished them early. Not to mention two wins over Volkanovski who used to be really high in p4p ranking. No doubt that this is going to be a completely different fight than it was in 2019, but Armans ambitions are two high right now. His tongue comes before his actions He speaks like he is in top5 p4p already. He should face more guys from top5 or experts like prime Holloway or Poirier in striking and see whos kung-fu is better

I'd still watch it out of routine and maybe one of the new guys fighting in the event could turn out to be good.  And maybe I shouldn't have taken the Contender Series for granted as most of the new fighters making their debut went through DWCS.  Some of them went on to be really good and holding the belt even.  O'Malley was from DWCS, the prospect Bo Nickal got his contract from DWCS and many more good fighters.

This should be very interesting UFC event to watch in weekend.
I love the style of Rose Namajunas but she had a bad run of two loses in a row, but I think this is a perfect chance for her to come back with a win against Amanda Ribas.
Some heavyweight fights is on this fight card and that is big bonus for me, even first fight in prelims should be good with Mohammed Usman vs Mick Parkin.

Of course, losing to Charles would put Arman's title-shot ambitions on hold and he'll have to win probably at least 2 fights to be considered for another match against Islam. But having 4 losses on his record is nothing bad really. It all depends on who the fighter lost to and whether he gave a good performance. Looking at the top 155 contenders:
Oliveira: 9 losses, Poirier: Gaethje: 4 Losses, Poirier: 8 losses.

MMA doesn't always work like this. It's more of a rock-paper-scissors thing. Oliveira's style could be effective against Tsarukyan, Islam's style could work against Oliveira, but Tsarykyan could still pull off a win against Islam (if ever given another chance).

Speaking about Islam, in his recent interview he said he really wants to fight in June and called out Dustin Poirier. After that, he would be happy to take on either a winner of Tsarukyan/Oliveira or Gaethje/Holloway.
I wonder if the UFC will give him what he wants. Personally, I'd prefer to see Islam fighting Gamrot, but I know the chances of that happening are slim.
