Come on guys, there is no need to make theories and speculate a lot about Zuckerberg in Volks corner. It was done mostly for media purpose. Mark wanted to be more close to a sport he is interested in. Dana and UFC got some extra media recognition. If there is a chance to let famous person to be close to action, why not? It only plays good for business. He did not interfere, he did not do anything bad. He just stood and watched. And media posted most attracting attention photo of him. Of course there are million more photos of him, from every angle.

P.s. To bad from any angle he looks the same. The same as Madame Tussauds weird wax figure  

If there is no given fact about it then people will tend to speculate even though I am stretching my head after seeing it but my mind just overflows with so much information thinking on what Mark Zuckerburg is doing in there, but yeah I think it is still viable to just say that Zuckerburg is just supporting Volk because he was in the corner, and not giving another statement that are just theories or hearsay.


Now I may skip the main event so sorry Jairzinho Rozenstruik but I am saving my bets for what I think are the best fights for this event and here are my picks for UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Gaziev

Vitor Petrino vs. Tyson Pedro

For this fight, the odds were 1.27 for Vitor Petrino the heavy favorite for this fight while 3.85 for Tyson Pedro for me Vitor Patrino is a solid striker and has power in it, right now I think that Petrino is good at his striking than Pedro, and Petrino is even wrestling a lot and you can really see that it is improving a lot every time he fights but Tyson Pedro can also knockdown Petrino we have seen him getting knockdown before but for me, his striking is absolutely great so my pick is Vitor Petrino.

Alex Perez vs. Muhammad Mokaev

For this fight, the odds were 3.90 for Alex Perez and 1.26 for Muhammad Mokaev the heavy favorite for this fight, this is something even if you are just new to the UFC you will realize getting on board with the hype, but you are not wrong about it as I don't see the great fight for Alex Perez which he didn't show any great thing while Muhammad Mokaev is a beast and against Jafel Filho he has come back in the brink of getting his knee broken as he surely got a heart and turning the fight around so my pick is Muhammad Mokaev.

Umar Nurmagomedov vs. Bekzat Almakhan

For this fight another Dagestani fighter, and the odds are 1.07 for Umar Nurmagomedov and the heavy favorite to win, 8.60 for Bekzat Almakhan for this fight Umar Nurmagomedov has decent striking, and with those kicks, he's got the range and we all know the wrestling of Dagestani should never be underestimated and he also got solid takedown defense I will be bias here for sure Umar Nurmagomedov will win this no doubt about that so my pick is Umar Nurmagomedov.

Remember Alex Perez has already lost 7 fights in his career. So Mokaev, if he does his research correctly should have a lot of weak points about his opponent. Odds for Mokaev is 1.25, not very imressive but not bad at all.

This diet is called project blueprint where the person hacks his body through a strict diet and regular exercise. Nurmagomedov got wobbled at R1 but was able to recover and mauled the guy.  But I was pretty impressed that he went to the decision against Nurmagomedov.  Any lesser fighter and Bezkat would've win imho.

I am also interested in those 2 fights but because I was busy yesterday I didn't make any predictions at all, finding any video that I can get as a reference because I didn't watch the event maybe later I will do my comment on what I think about the event as for sure It was really surprising as I have seen that Muhammad Mokaev and Umar Nurmagomedov have won their fights even with a decision for sure both have dominated their fights, but I still haven't seen the event yet but I will go and search for a full fight video if there is a recap.

I didn't know Bryan Johnson but sure if he was the one that is cause why Mark Zuckerberg is like this then I think we can speculate everything and come up with funny ideas about why Mark Zuckerberg is like this and yeah let's speculate because we can, but also let's also keep a factual information if we can.

I actually thought that Bekzat found a great chance to actually capitalize on that first round. But Umar Nurmagomedov handled it very well. And that was probably the only chance. When you are fighting against a beast like that, you have to take those chances. We can all see what happened after that. And congratulations to Umar for winning the fight. He kept his undefeated streak going on.

By the way, I also agree that if this was any lesser fighter, Bekzat could have capitalized on that first round and maybe secured a win.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik looked a lot better, to be honest. His defense against wrestling was good and his jab was absolutely on point. He was snaking in his jabs one after another. And it looked like his opponent never saw it coming. He did really well and after a while, it looked like his opponent was really out of the fight. Towards the end, it looked like a mismatch, to be honest.

So I have to say that the main event of the UFC fight night was really a quality fight. Shamil tried but I really think he did not prepare for this fight as best as he could.

It is not that Rozenstruick looked better, it is Gaziev who looked awful. Gaziev promissed nightmare to heavyweight division, while his performance looked like nightmare. But both were bad. Both connected so many punches during 4 rounds. It is unforgivable to fight like that against big guys. If their opponents were from top5, they would not survived all that damage. Main event was awful. Gaziev looked like an amateur; all jabs, showed nothing from wresling. He is going to get farewell from ufc soon.

Another win for Umar Nurmagomedov against Almakhan, he is now with perfect 17-0 MMA record and he continues in footsteps of his older cousin and retired champion legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.
His UFC ranking is still low on 13th place but big fights are coming for him and I think he can become a new UFC Bantamweight champion.
Maybe next fight for him is Petr Yan or Deiveson Figueiredo.

It wasn't an easy win for him since he struggled to finish him off and because the other guy was tired, Umar easily won by constantly taking his opponent down and easily landing more punches after that. I think he needs more wins that have some huge impact that will gonna amaze the entire crowd since people will likely have more expectations from him because of his team. He needs to win more by knockouts and submissions so that he can boost his popularity and somehow get huge sponsorship next time, by that time, champions will be interested in fighting him quickly without any hesitations.

Umar, who was previously projected to be able to continue Nurmagomedov's big name, actually made many UFC fans deg agitation when he received a crushing blow from Almakhan and fell to the floor as if making the fight finished, but just like the spirit possessed by the Nurmagomedov family finally made Umar rise and dominate the fight with a victory, the fight was indeed a difficult fight for debutants like Almakhan and already It should be for Almakhan to get more flight hours so that he can continue to daunt his opponents in the future.

The victory over Almakhan made Umar still able to maintain his 17-win unbeaten record, currently Umar who is still very young but able to give a good fight to every opponent his opponent believes he will be able to can and even exceed the achievements obtained by UFC legend khabib Nurmagomedov in the future, In addition, there are now many great fighters waiting to be able to fight with Umar and I think we will continue to see Khabib fighting style will remain in Umar in the future.

Yup! I also like those 2 fights actually I have made a bet and all of it won, it was a superb win for both Dagestani, however, Umar Nurmaggomedov almost got knockout in round 1 with that Pierce temple shot by Bekzat Almakhan, sure that punch was really powerful for Nurmagomedov to wobble like that if it's not for his grappling prowess he would likely lose this one but yeah Umar Nurmagomedov was brilliant with his ground game as he dominated all other rounds.

Finally an event where even Early prelims have interesting fights

Yup...  Almost all of the roster are bangers.  The early prelims could pass off as a Fight Night main card.  =]  And at firsr glance the underdogs I could see having a good chance of winning are Joanne Wood, Lins if he opens as the underdog, Chookagian, Gilbert Burns no idea why he's at the current line and MVP wow he's finally in the UFC.  I'm thinking CJ Vergara could make it close too but the Almabayev guy is pretty good,  If I gamble on it maybe get a little bit more with Vergara via decision.

UFC matchmakers are actually in deep troubles after they make such card this time, in 298 and for 300 Soon people will start to think that this is a standart and would ask for more big fights, and wont accept FN anymore. People already skip a lot of fights and during prelims or early prelims venues are filled for 2/3 only.

He managed to cause some trouble to Umar, and he didn't get finish, so I think it's fair to call that fight a success. He presented himself nicely, so there's a chance he will be getting some interesting fights in the near future. Nevertheless, he did take some damage and look beat up at the end of the fight, as Umar was clearly better.

I haven't seen the full fight (yet) only the highlights, but I wasn't impress with Rozenstruik at all. Gaziev dominated the fight at the beginning but wasn't the best in managing his energy and gassed out in later rounds. No idea what actually happened to his eye in the 4th (or earlier?), but if he said he couldn't see on one eye, it's a good thing he didn't carry on and surrendered. Although he must be very disappointed right now to finish his 14-long winning streak like this.

UFC 299 Embedded: Vlog Series - Episode 1 is out! So many good fights coming up. I'm super hyped! Who you got? All of them on the left side were absolute menace in the UFC and almost unbeatable and carried their own hype.

I think the UFC 299 looks slightly better than the UFC 300. At least to me and probably because it will feature Mateusz Gamrot's fight against Rafael Dos Anjos and Gamrot is my compatriot so obviously I'm rooting for the guy. I can't believe they put that fight on a prelim card. I think it's objectively better and more exciting match up than say Holland Vs Page. But maybe I'm biased.
I hope Vera beats O'Malley (again), but I wouldn't put any money on him. It's going to be a tough challenge for Poirier, as Saint-Denis is a beast, but Dustin can't just limit himself to fighting the same guys over and over again, so he has to take the risk.

On the prelim card, there's also Blaydes Vs Almeida. I can't check the odds at the moment, but I'm sure Almeida is a massive favourite here. Blaydes fought almost a year ago and it was a first round KO loss to Pavlovich, before that, there was a fight against Aspinall that didn't really happen due to Tom's injury in the early seconds of round 1. Almeida, on the other hand, is trending up with 3 wins in 2023, including Lewis and Rozenstruik.

Main event is better for this weekend, but UFC 300 has other great fights, unless we see some canceled fights again.
I wont compare them all, but Sean O'Malley surprised me a lot with his performance and Marlon Vera is the only guy who defeated him back in 2020.
Vera has lot of defeats but he never lost by KO or by submission, and I think he is better on ground than O'Malley.
Bookies made O'Malley a huge favorite but odds are so juicy on Vera:

@notblox1. Agreed. Uncle Dana should exchange the main event for UFC 300 and UFC 299 hehehe. Sean O'Malley is being hyped to be the next Conor McGregor. He also has a handsome face, colorful hair and wears dark sunglasses in dark rooms very much similar to El Cucuy heheheheh. However, this hype on him might be the reason for why his the favorite. Maron Vera might be underestimated for this fight. I reckon Suga Sean might have difficulties to get the knockout. My prediction, Maron Vera will win with a submission.
