It sound that Bellator are totally low level promotion Imho they simply should not put Bellator champion straight against a guy that is high in top division. Bellator guys are better than average guys in division, they are same level as low tier of division top. Maybe its their ego that does not allow them to fight someone lower than a champion Maybe its judges fault that Bellator guys does not perform that well. Because they did not lose by KO or submission, they lose by decision. Maybe for judges its like "our guy vs guest" fight, and they give a little + to UFC guy when filling score cards.

In the end, Bellator is still UFC's competitor. There are two moments, former Bellator fighters want to fight Champions to either prove that they are really the best or they want to make lots of money with fight against Champions. There is also another moment, Dana White might be the guy who does this intentionally to make Bellator fighters appear bad and not worthy of being a Champion. This way he is damaging Bellator's and their athletes' reputation and increases UFC's reputation. It might sound crazy what I'm saying but I expect everything from money addict Dana White.

I don't blame him for retiring, if he doesn't feel like fighting anymore, he shouldn't. Nobody should be forced to put their health on the line. But he should've sat himself down and made up his mind much sooner than this. Dragging things for that long when he was not interested in having that fight was a d*ck move and a shameful way of finishing his career.

I reckon that after the retirement of Jon the chicken legs of the bones Jones, we will witness another fighter who will be transferred to the heavier division and this will be much easier for this fighter because he is not anymore holding a championship in the light heavyweight division. I didn't realize that the next PPV event with Topuria was gonna be this weekend!  Looking at the roster, even tho the main event is kinda weak for a card like this, I gotta say the main card and the preliminary card is rock solid!

12m +% from PPV sales. Every champion that has a title fight receive share from PPV. Plus fight of the night most probably bonus Right now I wonder what Bones will be doing next. I have never heard about him investing into something or having any business. UFC salary are his only money? I always wonder what do professional fighters do to earn when they retire. Couple or years they can sell their face and earn from media. Maybe 5 years or so they can do courses, but that does not cost so much. I am slowly moving this conversation to if we going to see Bones in 5-10 years in any other promotion? Or would he go to boxing now?

You guys watched the Sadykhov vs Motta one.  One of the most fun fights I've seen while it lasted.

What a crazy fight. You could tell the referee was just waiting for the right moment to stop it in the first round, when it looked like Sadykhov was on his way out, but keeping the guard up worked and he survived.
Both got $100k each in bonuses: $50k for performance of the night and $50k for the fight of the night. Well deserved.

I guess they could give him Gane, as he's the number 1 contender now and they haven't fought against each other yet. Aspinall would be a big favourite, but Gane is considered a very solid striker, so there's a big chance he could be the first one to survive the 1st round against Tom.

Well done to Fiziev and Blades for winning their fights. They both fought a lower-ranked opponents but passed their tests and proven they belong at the top.

The main event: Jamahal Hill Vs Khalil Rountree is still going. I can't watch it live, but I see the live odds for Rountree are only x1.07, so he must be doing really well. He was my favourite anyway, as I'm not a big fan of Hill and think him getting the belt was largely due to luck.

Khalil was simply superior. I hope that now the UFC looks at Hill and throws him out of the rankings. This guy can't do anything in the fights anymore and his marketing is based on controversy. He'll be fired soon if he keeps this up.

Hill was very weak in the Khalil and Perreria matches, these fighters are already top fighters, but Hill has a stance that would be weak against fighters in the top 10. He doesn't look in shape for a long time, it will be hard to see Hill anymore, I mean, he saw that there is no goal left, there is no way to go, he sees this in the UFC, they threw him in front of the champions a few times and they won't throw him more because that was enough.

Do many of you can name Hill achievements? He is kinda a phenomenon in light heavyweight roster. I dont remember big skulls in his career. Only took vacant belt from aged Texeira hands. People say that he was good at knocking people, but there were not so many in his record KO over Johny Walker But who hasnt KOed Walker? Anyway, he is a bit overestimated imho.

Looking at the odds rn...  At first glance the bets I like are Hyder Amil at 2.50, Jack Hermansson at 2.70, Payton Talbott at 2.60, Brandon Royval at 2.02 and a parlay for Pantoja - Topuria at 1.68.

Damn, can't believe these were underdogs when I checked them.  Was thinking they'd be lined closer together.  The Beneil Daruish one is at 2.01.  If they lined it around 2.20, I'd def pick him over Moicano.

And it looks like these guys are promoting Topuria as the next big thing at 155.

Look, I don't think there's ever been another fighter. They just brought him out of retirement, made him fight a few times and then left him aside. He had said that since his last fight he had stopped training and if I'm not mistaken it was more than 6 months. For a fighter who is active, going that long without training is unthinkable.

Or, even if UFC was his job, he does not like to be commanded. Same story is hyping around Topuria and Makhachev. Who has said that Makhachev must fight Topuria? But mma society are pumping it like Islam is ducking him and ran away to other division.

There's always 'a chance' as it's MMA, anything could happen.  But would I bet on that 'chance'?  No, I'm on the other side of this bet.  Some props for Topuria could be good here like the round props.  

But if there's a huge underdog that has more of a chance in this event, it's KKF imho.  He prolly could make it really close against Pantoja.

The hype that he created at Featherweight made him a big favorite to win on this one. I mean how he dominated that division is one reason. Also add the fact that he's undefeated, and he's way younger than Oliveira is another one. I want to give Oliveria a chance to win on this one, but with how Topuria defeated those big fighters in featherweight, I'm thinking that the only fighter that can stop him is Makachev. I might be wrong though because this is a different division already. Still, anything is possible. One punch can change everything so I don't want to rule out Oliveira as well.

Will I take the risk? No, and I don't think that this will end in a 5-round series as well. I would predict that this will end in 3 rounds.

I guess its not a secret that Ilia Topuria is copy/pasting some of Conor McGregor behaviour, style (proof ). Previously Conor Also has moved from featherweight division to lightweight, and that is when his problems started. Look at Conor fighting record. Conor was small in lightweight. Ilia is about to step on the same rake. People say that Ilia is small for lightweight, I support that. Maybe he will pass Oliveira, but what would he do next? Other guys in divisions are huge guys as well. Ilia wont fight anyone lower than top5.

Heard that UFC are planning to run a BJJ tournament? This is how UFCBJJ belt is going to look.



Honestly, it looks cheap. Original golden UFC belt looks much cooler.
