Yeah, that makes sense. Successful projects that are serious about good results take care of the marketing side. Therefore, they hold bounties to attract new people and to make their project known to people. They are already finding sponsors for funding. And it also increases the seriousness of the team's intentions.

ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references, but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects. and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?
I know many project that reach their hardcap target last year but now suffering on the price. There may be many factors that affect the price, but seeing the current price is very far from the ICO price, it is very sad

I do not think it will not be succeed if the hardcap has been raise because in that case they have a lot of funds to develop more of their project and they can list to the big exchanges so that their project will be more popular to the world or investors.

ico's hardcap is now not a determinant of success, the most important thing is the team's performance how the team can work hard so the tokens are in exchange still have good prices and not a scam. I respect respect for the achievement of softcaps, but the team works well, rather than achieving hardcap, but the team did a futile and vague job, finally scam.

The success of an ICO is not a measure for the final outcome of a particular project. There are hundreds of examples in which the ICO was a raging success, but the project became dead or dormant within a short span of a few months. For a project to remain successful, the promoters need to stay loyal to it, even after the ICO and exchange listing.

i know a lot of projects that have successfully hit their hard cap but still end up being a big disappointment to the investors. I wont like to mention names but projects like U-chain and 4NEW and even AVINOC are just bunch of hypes with no substantial or noticeable product development thereby leading to price crash of monumental magnitude.
Really disappointed .

Yes thats true that reaching the hardcap is not a guarantee but it is a good indicator of success of the project. Its not an assurance but it increases the chances of success because you have all the funds you needed to deliver the project and make it work. But sometimes it also depends on the developers if they decided to scam people around.

Reaching the hardcap is not the main factor to whether or not a project will succeed. Success will greatly depend on the TEAM. A well structured and organized team with the mindset of achieving success is the main factor for which success will be met. Heck, a team like this will still be able to reach their goal even with just a softcap! In business, even with just a small capital, a determined and optimistic team will surely claim victory!

hardcap is the ultimate target of an ICO project .. so of course they are successful in running the project because they have achieved hardcap in selling tokens ... and many projects that don't reach hardcap or they can only get Softcap from token sales ... but they can be successful too ... so the ICO or not ICO method has no effect on the success of a project ... but it is very influential from the CEOs and Founders of each project that is executed ...

Absolutely right Hardcap of ICO project is not always guaranteed for the success of ICO, many project could raised of hard cap but failed after listing on exchange market with lower price than ICO.

If an ICO project raises the maximum amount of funds, which is rarely the case now, it shows that the project is in demand and can be invested in it

Hardcap is just an idea of how well people were convinced about the project and how effective the project pr has been, It doesn't justify the project being legitimate, not being scam, or just shitty project that will no longer function after a few months.

Its not like this is any different from IPOs in regular life. Many companies that get funding still fail. The rule for venture capitalists is only 1/10 of the companies your invest in will be very successful.

There are many of such projects, the never had the intentions or the know how to execute the project. They only perfected the Whitepaper which was enough to convince investors and at the end nothing to show for the millions they raised.

Yeah, but projects that raised hardcap are statistically more success than projects that had problem to raise soft cap. Plus more money means competitive advantagem

Yeah, but projects that raised hardcap are statistically more success than projects that had problem to raise soft cap. Plus more money means competitive advantagem Projects that do not collect enough funds have almost no chance of continued existence, because new investors will not be interested in this project. However, there are exceptions, projects such as Grin, made from scratch without external investment.

Yeah, but projects that raised hardcap are statistically more success than projects that had problem to raise soft cap. Plus more money means competitive advantagem I agree that meeting hard cap is not always a guarantee that the project will success as what I have experience, I don't know what is the real reason behind but hopefully not all team on every project will do that kind of attitude as it will only destroy the image of crypto currency and it will lessen investors until such time that no one wants to invest on this crypto market.
