ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references,
but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects.
and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?

If they have limited in concept and there's a possibility that the coin will not take off, then why investors support this coin in the first place, reaching the hardcap is a good sign and the first step in making the project a success, because investors will not support a project that will not guaranty them profit and no usage in the community, investors are wiser now.

You have a point here in the sense that a project hitting hardcap in ICO doesn't necessarily mean they will do well in the long run. Some pay influencers and create great hype around the project making it sell out fast. Then after the ICO, investors start regretting when they don't deliver what was promised before and during ICO. nevertheless, it's not so in all situations, some projects hit hardcap and still excel, some just manage to hit softcap and still do well.  The most annoying is projects which fake hardcap, such projects are just after the money.

It does not matter at all, because without a working product, healthy community and good exchanges with great trading volume, you can forget about success in this industry, especially on such an unstable market.

even when the project reaches the hardcap it is not a guarantee of project success in the real market. products must be clearly developed and accepted in the market. if not, I'm sure in one year the project has been lost. in 2018 we can see there are several projects like that.

I do not pay attention to Hardcap ICO. But first of all, I pay attention to the project team and the goals that they set for themselves. So how exactly the competence of the team helps the project to achieve positive results.

This Hardcap thing is just a goal created by the founder or by the team of the ICO for the creation of the project. When an ICO reached it's hardcap it should more likely have a complete fund for them to follow their road map. Since ICOs are most likely greedy now, some ICO members sell off their coins instead of supporting it.

It is true that the project will reached the hardcap is no guarantee in the future, but a project which reach hardcap actually will develop because if you reach the hardcap its means its good project and the investors or the hunters that supported this project will be benefited.

Any project that is able to achieve a hardcap actually shows it already has the support and trust from the community, if it fails to succeed it should be the fault of the developers, either that they that they were out to scam or had lost the community trust that everyone decided to sell and dump

It is no guarantee absolutely, a perfect example is shivom that achieved its hardcap in less than four weeks, was surprised the token dumped so huge on listing, right now its price is more than 5x lower the ICO price.

Nowadays it is very difficult to see hardcap in ICO, because many projects are very bad, and there are not many investors left there

even before 2017, all new projects in one way or another collected a lot of money from investors and many collected hardcap during the company ico.  but today all these companies in the cryptocurrency market are also at the bottom.  And if we speak about the current state of the market of ico companies, then even 10% of the desired amount are few people collecting investments.

I agree with you, but each person the concept of "success" may be different. For some people, success is to get into the top 100 of the Coinmarketcap, and for others, to get listed on several exchanges is also a "success" . By itself, the fact of collecting a hardcap simply demonstrates the interest of the market to this project, which certainly increases its starting value, but does not guarantee at all that the company will at least follow their roadmap.

I think we should think clearly about the Hardcap project, I found that among the teams manipulating sales until Hardcap was reached, of course the project would just disappear as it can be seen at this time. I myself did not stick to the Hardcap project but I looked more at the Team performance.

Projects that need an ICO do not have their own funds or these funds are insufficient in volume. If the founders of the project have their money, or they are attracted privately, usually in such projects either a very good idea, or other positive qualities in comparison with the usual ICO projects. If private investors are investing heavily in this project, it means they are completely confident in the prospects of such a project. This explains that such projects are usually better than those that are launched through ICO.
Of course, the achievement of the project hardcap only means that investors believed this project. However, in the future, these collected funds may be spent efficiently or inefficiently.

there are a lot of ICO hardcaps which eventually SCAM and HARM many investors or even become junk coins. I have not thought of believing in the ICO hardcap. I believe in the IEO which is now clearly giving profit

I often find many ico projects that are hardcap but do not have clarity of development to date. I think ico is already on the road must be abolished and replaced with an IEO that clearly gives success and does not harm many investors

This is actually %100 true. Some projects even reached their hardcap faster than expected but on the long run they are no more. This happened a lot in 2017. Many of those projects that made waves in the crypto sphere and reached their hardcap are now dead. This is  not good report to hear because, millions of dollars were pumped into those projects.  I think things needs to change now!

Achieving hardcap is not a determinant that the ICO project was successful. The achievement of hard cap is only about ICO funding where the ICO should run well because there are no obstacles in terms of costs. All funding is minimally fulfilled and even reaches the upper limit. ICO funding is not a calculated problem here. If there is sufficient funding, but the project has not been successful, then there must be a follow-up evaluation step which can detect where the project error is.

You can also see that despite they hit the hard cap, they are still struggling to get the coin listed in a decent exchange and to maintain a good price.
The reason behind is already stated by yours, ICO was replaced by IEO already.
