The resurgence of Pakistan has surprised everybody and the amount of hate the team received after their defeat against India has forced the team management to change their team composition and now they are playing as a unit but still i am not convinced by the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed to take critical decisions at crucial times.
Tomorrow we have West Indies facing India and with the bowling power house they have, they will win without much sweat unless Gayle scores a huge ton and the rest of the team chip in to score a huge total.

Four teams are in contention for the final semi-final spot: England (8 points), Bangladesh (7), Pakistan (7) and Sri Lanka (6). And believe it or not, out of these four the chances are the brightest for Pakistan. They did surprise me in a big way. Some guy posted them following the same pattern after which they won the World Cup, but I doubt it will happen this time around. They are improving, but they still have a long way to go.

I agree. Way too many inconsistent players in the West Indies side. For example, literally no one had faith in Brathwaite taking the game so deep in the last match thanks to his horrible form these days, but he was a monster. Inconsistent players, but can be devastating on their day.

I don't see Eng not being able to qualify as even though the opponents are tough, these days weaker teams have been able to win matches. Even India struggled before AFG and yesterday Pak was able to defeat NZ which is the strongest team after Aus. These low scoring games have changed everything. Eng need to pull up their socks and bat well. It's better to choose fielding first these days and restrict the team to below 250.

Sad to see my pool team NZ lose but hats off to the Pakistan team, they played with passion.

Today's game should be a good one. Expecting India to win but it's always entertaining to watch the Windies at bat.

England's world cup mission is coming to an end soon. The next match against India will draw the line. New Zealand is also a tough contestant for them. Pakistan is surprising everyone as the tournament is progressing.

Anyway, come back to today's match, I gone with easy win for India and I hope they do. Not gambling in this match.

That was a very quick decision, I'll need to watch the replay again as it looked like a tough call between bat and pad.

It was indeed harsh decision. To turn the in field decision the third umpire needs solid evidences but looking at the reply it was not very clear to say that the was nicked.

What's special with Roach by the way? Sorry, I am not closely following WI players.

According to the CWC website he currently has the best bowling economy overall at 3.80, but he has only bowled in 3 matches so far compared to others like Boult and Grandhomme who have bowled for 6.

150 for 4, will India face another low scoring match? If so, it will not be easy to win today since WI batsman are dangerous and they have a long list of that types. Kohli till now is playing comfortable and seems to have a century today.

If the Indian openers failed to score big runs, India is struggling to put up a huge total on the board and with the tournament progressing we are seeing sub 300 scores and the pitches look difficult to score runs freely and with the bowling line up India has, it is a good battle between bat and ball rather than seeing one sided huge scores. If India could take early wickets and put pressure on the West Indies openers and Shimron Hetmyer, then it is a game for India to win as we have a good bowling line up.

268 runs thanks to Dhoni's 16 runs in the last over. Felt so bad for him that he couldn't give the strike to the bowler and had to hit out or get out. Loved his two helicopter shots.

I expected 20 but 16 is not bad considering Dhoni is not in his best form. I wanted him to start hitting big shots in the 49th over and get a score of 275-280 but Shami getting out was a turning point. Glad he did not take 1s else we would have a score of 260 max.

I think in recent time Dhoni scored 25+ runs in two match. I can not remember the exact number and the match. That is why I was expecting another one from him :-P

Great innings from Dhoni and Hardik at the end. I thought score will not be 250+ at some point. However, 268 is not expected from team India but it still is a good score to defend WI.

The match is in India's favor although it's too early to say.
