You can thank Gulbadin for the win. Honestly, I bet on Pakistan, but I thought Afghanistan would win this one towards the end, but Gulbadin's decisions destroyed their hopes.

His horrible bowling coupled with the missed run out chance at the end(Don't forget the Imad LBW decision) helped Pakistan survive. Looking at this performance(Pak), I can pretty confidently say that they are leagues away at the moment when compared to India and Australia.

So far England going strong with their opening batsman. Bairstow is struggling to face Shami and got lucky at times. While Roy is playing calm and fine cricket so doesn't seems like it is going all right for India ATM.

India needs early wickets to break their batting line-up as soon as possible otherwise you know what England's batting line-up are capable of.

We know that India batting line up is strong and today will be their first real batting line up test. The way it is going, i can see 400+ run today and India can chase it down too as the wicket is totally flat.
Either it will be a fantastic chase or India will meet their first defeat today.

Glad that they both have gone and it seems like England dreaming of 400+ is getting quite difficult. India got the wickets right at time. Still there is Buttler and Stokes and yeah Root also. Just hope Indian bowlers clear these hurdles as soon as possible now.

Looks like England has good chance to win this match and also they have decent bowling to defend it whereas in India the batting is still better and the result can be goes to India side if they can play better as England for the initial overs.

Very good start by England. India is in pressure now with 32 runs for 1 from 11.2 overs. That's very much poor run rate. Required run rate is now over 7, I guess Rohit will be tempted after scoring a few more runs.

It is alright in my opinion, but the blue one will always be my favorite and they will wear it majority of the time. They might change it up again later based on what people's opinions.

I don't think it will be much hard. Rohit and Virat both are thinking of playing for a long time, once they are set, they will make it easy I guess. And the picth is not that bad either.

Don't you think India is playing a bit slowly here ? Alright, they have a partnership but less then 4.00 run rate is something to be worried about. If India tries to move on from here and lose a wicket, they will be in deep trouble.

I was wondering one about one thing which was striking in my mind when i saw how the Indian bowlers bowled today in the morning. However i remain quite as i thought i maybe wrong.

That's shit, I don't believe India will fix match here. Rohit and Virat wanted to set first so that they can easily win the match, however, it's now pretty hard since Virat has gone. I still expect that India will win the match.
