Australia and India are through though I would like to see India on top of the table. England and New Zealand are playing a quarter-final today and I bet on New Zealand(Risky), but I believe in their bowling lineup.

Pakistan is almost out of the race and need a miracle if they wish to qualify since their NRR is pretty horrible currently. Their game against Afghanistan provided them an opportunity to improve their NRR, but they failed to do so. We are at the end game(Group stages) now people.

Pakistan is not out from world cup yet, if England lose from New Zealand and Pakistan beat Bangladesh, Pakistan will through to semi final and England will be out of world cup.

England batting back in form after Jason Roy back in team, so I don't think New Zealand can beat England.

Not sure about today's game, England are my favourites and I have New Zealand in the office pool, so I'm not sure who I want to win. England losing would certainly make the tournament more exciting for everyone involved!

I usually like betting on batsmen scoring over x but with England's batsmen being inconsistent and the NZ bowlers being on fire i'm not sure I want to touch that market 

Think i'll just back New Zealand at (3.25) and avoid the player props this time.

One can count on Roy. I did not bet but I am predicting Roy to score 50 in this match. England don't want to risk their work cup missing and they have a flying start so far.

Having Roy with him, Bairstow do not feel pressure to score quick runs so he plays better. Both Roy and Bairstow is very close to their 50s and England really had a very good start.

By the way, finally I placed a bet. England total six over 6.5 but seems like the England team is not interested to score from over boundary :-P

England middle order failed and i do not think now they could even think of 330+. I think they are well short of 50 runs here and if NZ managed to bat well, they could chase it. But they will have to bat really well because they do not have Williamsons in the team today.

Edit: Opps, Williamson has come out to bat. Someone told me in the morning that he might not play.

Anyway, a good total even though I think we all expected England to score more than 350 runs. It's the middle and lower order failed England today. New Zealand is not in good shape to chase this much run unless Kane do something today.

Most safest gambling on the cricket matches in on the result of the match. If you gamble on how many sixes a team will hit, who will win toss, first innings score etc, they are all have more risk.

But since England made a brilliant start and now with NZ two wickets down, i am now looking for a England win with a big margin, maybe by 100 runs.

New Zealand has lost their sixth wicket and two run outs changed the game and i predicted it to be an close win for England but it looks like they will be trashing them in this match by the way things are going, i recently understood the pool strategy, earlier  i was simply giving narrow wins as i never thought there is a perk on exactly predicting that, now i will be more careful on selecting those from.

You may be kidding with your Slogan, but this is the reality and most of the public think in same lines.  I never understand this logic ?
Wouldn't it be better if we think in a way like, "Ok We have Sunk, but we will want another Asian team progress further" ?

I don't know, maybe this is the same logic as of India vs Pakistan, Brazil vs Argentina. I don't know why I don't like Pakistan at all. I would never support Pakistan unless we are getting direct benefit like Pakistan wanted in ENG vs IND match

Pakistan is virtually out of world cup, officially they will after playing against Bangladesh, If Bangladesh play first in their match, than Pakistan won't have any chance to reach on semi final even they chase down the match in 1st ball.
If pakistan bat first, they have to win over 300 runs and that is almost impossible to win against Bangladesh.
