Holly shit the scores are tied and the world cup will be decided in the super over, this is the first time we are seeing a super over to decide the world cup winner, England has attacking players who will knock the ball out of the park but i am not sure who will be striking for New Zealand, only Taylor can hit the ball out of the park and England is batting with Stokes and Buttler. It is a nerve racking match for every cricket fans  .

Okay, here is something in case of tie break points:

In the event of points ties on a leaderboard, position is allocated on the basis of higher WP total, then lower TDM. TDM is Total Distance from Margin: the sum of the differences between a player's margin predictions and the actual margins. Example: Where Thrashing = 4, Easy = 3, Comfortable = 2, Narrow = 1: if you picked Easy (3) and the result was Narrow (1), your TDM for that match would be 3 - 1 = 2. Lower is better.

So we have pffrt and Harkorede both with the same total points which is 43 but pffrt has less TDM which is 83 and less TDM is better according to superbru rules.

Just saw that team England won the World Cup in 2019 and I got the to know just while scrolling my social media, congratulation to the team England and also the one who won this prediction tournament.

Knew that England would win from the time India lost but never knew the match would be so thrilling. Am still confused that how Eng won when they tied the match and the extra over just because of boundaries. But still it was their first ever win so congrats to England.

This final is easily the most entertaining final that I have ever watched among all the matches that I watched till now, but the ending was completely unfair and I felt like this entire match ended in a draw.

They basically gave the cup to England even though it was a draw thanks to some useless ICC rules. The umpiring in this tournament was pretty average and needs a lot of improvement. Luck basically transferred from NZ to England here.

Overall, I had a lot of fun discussing Cricket in this thread and am looking forward to future threads like this one.

Whether their performance helped the team to win the matches or not also counts. And I guess that is the reason why Shakib lost it to Williamson. Shakib, despite his individual brilliance was not able to push Bangladesh beyond the group stages. Kane Williamson on the other hand, took New Zealand to the finals. His captaincy was brilliant throughout the tournament and on more than one occasion gave the team a win from the jaws of defeat. Shakib is still young... better luck for him next time.
