This is going to be a big test for Pacquiao if he still at it Thurman is one tough guy the toughest he's going to face after the Mayweather fight, he should prepare for this fight because after this huge mega fight he will be on top again and will attract boxers like Crawford for a mega fight.

Crawford or Errol Spence would be great if he will win against Thurman. But the biggest stumbling block is of course their managers. I'm sure he will prepare for this fight, election in the Philippines is completed and now he can focus for the next 8-12 weeks and train hard again under Freddie Roach and Justin Fortune, and of course Buboy Fernandez.

Thurman looks rusty against Josesito Lopez so I'm expecting a better showing this time against Manny so this is one explosive fight.

I am not that familiar with Keith Thurman, so I just checked his record and some of the videos of his previous fights. Interestingly, the last time he won through a KO was almost 6 years ago (against Jesús Soto Karass of Mexico). Also, I watched his last match (against Josesito López) in YouTube. Have to say that I am not very impressed with his skills. It' going to be pretty easy for Pacman.

Dont know why people do say that Thurman is dangerous one.Getting the records of him https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Thurman

Still unbeatable with high percentage of knockout.A worthy opponent but experience would be always a great factor.
Nice stats for Thurman and this is like a decider's match for him. Will he retain the no lose position? or will Manny put stain to his record?

Have to say that I am not very impressed with his skills. It' going to be pretty easy for Pacman.
I'm not into both side but they are all different fighters and has different styles. Experience wise, Manny got this but I don't think it would be that easy, we will see on how this fight will create another history for both fighters on July.

I'm not a boxing professional and either a sports analyst. But I could clearly check who is the cleanest player from the two.
They also have similar pros and cons. Pacquaio is getting old, Keith is young and ^punchin. Pacquaio is considered as one of the best boxers, Keith is still on its way to prove himself he's good.

But yes, we must not underestimate the power of a young and new guy in the town. Their spirits are so much power that they crave for success. They think that it is the only way to prove themselves so for Keith, good luck to you and congratulations on having an opportunity to fight with this humble guy.

I just have to post this the moment the news out but became again another victim of the forum captchas unusual behaviour lol.

Honestly Keith Thurman was a great pick and I remember mentioning this as one of the worthy oppoenent on the other MP's thread. It's way better to choose boxers from peak rather than those who is near retirement or just a random ones.

Forget Mayweather as it will take 5 years in the making. Forget Spence, as it's not even a priority. Forget Crawford "fow now", as lots of things needed to be done first.

Team Pacquiao did well in choosing the right opponent. Business+Intense+Action at the same time.

This is how should Managers to choose up fighters with their own fighters not just only basing purely on money making but also
concerned about on how to show up some good and real  entertaining fight rather than seeing some mismatch or some boring fights.
People do always like to see some action pack.

It is on July 20 already?! TBH I didn't see that coming Shocked. (Maybe I'm a little bit too busy to watch TV news nowadays). Anyways, I will definitely watch his fight once again. I'm never getting tired of watching Pacman inside the ring because he was able to maintain aggressiveness despite of his age. Imagine, a middle aged adult can still beat down those more fit and younger men Grin. If he reached the same aged when Roberto Duran retired in boxing but still fighting then that's the time for us to call him a Legend not only for the ritles he got but also for his passion on the sport he belongs.

I just have to post this the moment the news out but became again another victim of the forum captchas unusual behaviour lol.
Hmm, I'm always wondering why some of you struggle in solving captchas. Is there really an unusual behavior? I can't relate because I haven't experience it so far.

Team Pacquiao does not underestimate opponents which is a good thing for them and you can look on how he prepare and train hard for his upcoming fights to give the maximum entertainment he can give to his followers. Thurman already won for having this fight with the Pacman, this maybe his biggest paycheck if i am correct.

We can consider the match that PACMAN has a lot of fights that he won and also he is now getting old and which is make him stronger than before. I don't know the whole story of Keith Thurman about on his boxing career but one thing that I can sure he is younger than Manny Pacquiao. As of now, we don't have clear analysis regarding the two of them. So, let's just wait on their match.

Right, this could be Thurman's biggest paycheck so far, as we all know that Pacquiao can still bring fans inside the arena so it means more money in the table for the fight.

Of course we all know that Manny trains hard every fight that's why he is one of the best champions we have seen in the decade. Him and Floyd is the two boxers I have seen train hard and dedicated to their craft that's why they are the best in our era.

I am a proud countrymen of Manny Pacquiao, even though how many times he will have such a Challenger with young boxer and more in line, I will never give up on him being my favorite sports person. For fighters that wanna be challenging a multiple world champion holder, I am amazed. I think they really have the courage to go against Manny, I salute those boys and hopefully they will going home safely.

As much as I love Manny since he is my countryman, I do hope that he hangs up his gloves after this Thurman fight. A lot of people will say that Pac can still fight, and I wholeheartedly agree with that. However, we have seen the decline of the power of his punches in the recent years that he has been fighting, and most of that is due to him aging. I mean, the guy is 40 years old. He will lose a significant amount of speed in his footwork and his punches. Thurman, although coming out from his injury is 10 years his junior. The difference between speed and power will be noticable between these two fighters. If this was the Pac around 2012.2013, I'd give him an advantage. But this is not the case, so I will be betting on Thurman, as much as I love and respect Pac.

Technically, he can't just hang up his gloves. I'm sure when he signed with Al Haymon, it could be 3 to 5 fight contract. So this is just his 2nd fight under Premier Boxing, so he will definitely fight win or lose against Thurman.

Pac's version that fought Cotto will annihilate all current 147 lbs champions no doubt.

With the money on the line, they wouldn't mind getting hurt in the ring just to enjoy after the fight.
Of the many fight Manny had, we can see some boxers who are not really in the right to fight by fully engaging,  but they are just there to survive.

OK... Pacman will be the overwhelming favorite here... But just for fun.... what will happen if he loses to Thurman? I am sure that none of the users who had posted here would have thought about that possibility. What will happen, in case Pacman takes him too lightly, and with the help of some luck Thurman wins? Very very remote chance.... but still there is a possibility. He is 40 years old... in case he loses this fight, do you think that he'll retire?

About retirement after a loss is highly possible yet he dont need to prove something more yet he already done that.On boxing world, any chances no matter how slim it is there would be a chance for a challenger nor a champion would hit up by a lucky punch which would result into loss.If Pacquiao loss this fight then most people say that its time to retire.

Lets see the answer on upcoming July.

Have to say that I am not very impressed with his skills. It' going to be pretty easy for Pacman.
I'm not into both side but they are all different fighters and has different styles. Experience wise, Manny got this but I don't think it would be that easy, we will see on how this fight will create another history for both fighters on July.

I assume if this is going to be a fair fight Manny has the best chance to win here but if this all about the judges who rule the game then chances are Keith Thurman would be unbeatable just like FM. But of course, in the eyes of the audiences, we always know who will win after the fight.

Well, let's just see what this young boy got when faced with the 8-time world champion. Cheesy

Judges is really one of the factor that can affect each fight outcomes. It would really be controversial  if they would make decisions which is oppositely obvious on what world is seeing. They wont risk out their
names unless if its a close fight and wont end up on a TKO then possibility of split decision would happen.

Let me fixed it for you. Where Manny fanboys pactards at?
Pactards lol  Angry but truly is I am a great fan of manny pacquiao and will remain until he’s retirement day or he dies ,that’s how I value my respect for him
Quote
Grin. Either way, Pacman never ceases to amazed us,
That’s the reality,Manny is always bringing good fight in every step on the ring that’s why he is one of the best fighter ever live
Quote
but we know that Thurman will be next in line.
He is next in line from what?nope this young fighter has no match for manny
Quote
First, this is a winnable fight for me if we are going to base in on Keith's previous performance. Second, this is a test for Manny, if he win this one then I will assume that Floyd will be next or there is a possibility that he will face Floyd in the future.
But we will see what happen in the end of the game,so let’s get the betting started lol
