is it just me or someone else feel the pacman winning this? cant wait to see the odds of this match, and cant wait to see the fight itself its going to be awesome.
It will take another months before the fight will begin, we don't have any idea yet if where to bet, I also believe that Pacman can still win this fight as he have the fighting mentality that can bring him confidence to fight, it's an exiting fight to watch for sure.
It's already been shared in the above posts, let me quote this for yah. just try to check again as sometimes it's on and off.

A lot of support in this thread for Manny and I am getting really tempted to bet for him. The odds (+145) are also very encouraging. I may make a bet, but it will be a small amount (BTC0.005 or BTC0.01). Right now I can't afford to take too much risk. Is there any reliable gambling site out there, which is giving more than +145 for Manny?

Pacman is already a veteran in boxing and he had faced different fighters with different styles, with those experiences I think pacman's team has already come up with a strategy on defeating Thurman but I would say Thurman is good because he is considered the hardest punchers in his division so he can still be a remarkable opponent.

The age advantage is with Keith Thurman. In case Manny gets a KO during the initial rounds (which is extremely unlikely), then it is going to be his best chance. But as the fighting goes on, Manny will get exhausted much more than Thurman (due to his age and lack of practise). My prediction is that in case the fight lasts for the full 12 rounds, then Thurman will win.

I heard that Pacquiao is concentrating more on politics and not taking boxing seriously. If that is the case, then Keith Thurman will have it easy on July 20. I am a bit confused. Betting in favor of Pacquiao is too risky, while going for Thurman is not going to be very rewarding, given the one-sided odds. But the fight is going to be very entertaining (although at $75 per subscription, a bit expensive as well).

Yeah, Imagine that even with a lack of training he was still able to outbox his previous opponents but Pacquiao is growing old and also his powerful punches are becoming weak.
He might be growing old are you said but he have bigger issue which he spent his time on (politics as was said before and his son career) and I dont think most of you guys notice that ever since he had the shoulder injury during Mayweather fight his punches and dive move are not good as before?

Is it just me or does this fight telling everyone that Mayweather bout won't happen. I mean if they wanted to fight each other than they are getting older each day meaning they won't have too much to make that happen, we do not want to watch a 60 year old Mayweather and Pacman fight we want it now, hell we feel like the first fight was too late anyway so this one will be too late and maybe they do realize the same thing and instead of this huge one big final fight that would make them a lot of money, they decided to have 3-4 smaller fights and just call it a career?

I know just because Pacman is fighting Thurman doesn't really mean he won't fight Mayweather neither but it just feels like the chances are now a lot slimmer and that is a bit sad that we didn't got the chance to watch a rematch.

Not going to happen anymore, we've seen the first fight weren't that close and the only reason why there is a re-match is if the scores are very close. Manny may be fast but there's always going to be someone faster. Pacquiao is already rich so I don't think this is about money but making him more popular which his boxing career could be a catalyst for wining a position in the coming Philippine election.

Thurman is a great pick. No need for MP's staff to push for Mayweather bout if the other party isn't interested anymore. It will just look that Pacquaio is hungry for a rematch. MP promotions have lots of great boxers on the list that Pacquiao can face before his retirement (maybe 2-3 more fights).

Just imagined the first fight took 5 years* in the making. What's more in the expected rematch. Mayweather also saw and witnessed how good Pacquaio at his age fighting young and peak boxers since Jeff Horn. He might think that his record is on the verge of being dusted.

Manny is back, and this time he will be fighting a young upcoming and dangerous fighters in Keith Thurman.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Keith Thurman Official, July 20 on PPV

Quote
The long-expected announcement of the Keith Thurman-Manny Pacquiao fight finally was made Saturday night during FOX’s telecast from Fairfax, Virginia.

Thurman-Pacquiao has been scheduled July 20. Their welterweight title bout will headline a FOX Pay-Per-View show.

Their 12-round fight is expected to take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Where Manny fanboys at?  Grin

As much as I love Pacman it's just that he doesn't have the same fire he has when he was younger the only reason
I can think of why he still want to fight is to see if he can still fight toe toe with younger generation and enjoys it and probably
some of the money too. although I don't doubt his strength watching his fights doesn't have the same feel like before. I'm still excited though!

gonna put my bet on Pacman like always!!!

We still cant be sure if the reason why he agreed to fight Thurman was because he want to find out if he can still fight toe to toe with young fighter because we dont know the genuine status of his previous eye injury and what I presume about him is that he fight mostly because of money involve this days.

then we also can't be sure if he's only doing this for money right!? that is what your logic sounds like. if you look
at history there are times old(although he's not that old) people tent to want to fight younger generation to see if they
still have it, the fire they once have when they were still on their prime. I don't doubt that he is still in it for the money
but saying he is in it only for the money is a bit ignorant(sorry for the harsh word).

I think with Pacman he really make a long preparation in every fight he did so by this time,he is much prepared to fight against Thurman knowing july 20 is fast approaching. With his speed and power in the boxing arena,i still think that he can bring home the beacon this time.

He has started his preparation and training already. You can go and search Youtube because there's a lot of video being uploaded already. Actually, there has been a lot of trash talking lately and Manny Pacquiao seems to be fired by all the talk coming from Thurman himself.

Odds update of Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman in sportsbet.io

I'm eager to bet on Manny Pacquiao now since the odds above 2 Shocked
But I still need more to research about the training of Pacquiao and Thurman, and I will still wait before the fight starts, maybe on the first week of July before finalizing if I will really bet on Pacquiao.

You better focus on researching about Thurman because we already know Pacman and how he fight.
In case Manny will loss in this fight, it's a guarantee that it will be close fight and surely an entertaining fight, I would also put my money to Pacman with this odds, it's nice to bet on the underdog which has a lot of experience and a Legend.

If manny lose on this one, I might stop betting on him if he still choose to proceed fighting.

What's the previous odds though, mate?

Pacman training is a big news in the Philippines and I'm sure you can find a lot of them by just watching local news.  Grin

But yes, let's wait, I think the odds might change once the fight get's closer and maybe by that time Manny is already the favorite to win.

Manny is hitting that heavy bag already, while Thurman is opening his mouth and spewing non-sense. But the thing with his trash talking is that is shows a different body language. I mean he doesn't look confident enough for me when he do the talking. That's why Pacquiao is just laughing his ass off when someone trash talk him because it's not effective. There are even reports that he is doubling his crunches because he is super motivated to shut up Thurman's big mouth.

And also remember that many had tried that same tactics against Pacquiao in the past and I'm sure they've regret that. As for the odds, it really good very attractive at this point, but let's I will wait a bit before putting up some money on Pacquiao.

Yesterday Thurman made a statement on the PPV subscription. He was saying that 1 million PPV buys may be possible, which will bring somewhere around $75 million to $80 million in revenue. I am not sure about it. Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner reported only 400,000 PPV sales. I expect the figure to remain somewhere around that.

Maybe it would be on those range but im pretty sure it would be higher than 400k PPV Sales. The day before on their fight is fast approaching and im surprised that pacquiao
is the slight underdog here basing on Bookies odds.

I have no idea on how much they are making in PPV but sure it is a big money that they can market with that space. Now it is interesting that Thurman stated this because it looks he's expecting that more will watch on PPV.

400,000 PPV sale for Broner vs Pacquiao is a big sale so he's thinking of surpassing that which is possible. But I'm also balancing and with you that this is just going to swing with the same number, we will find out during the fight.

Manny has fought so many fights already. If there's anyone who needs some testing, it's the younger fighter. Floyd fights whenever he wants to fight. He won't be bothered by the result of the Pacquiao-Thurman fight.

As for the fight, Manny still has the speed and power. Experience will be key

Pacman is already a veteran in boxing and he had faced different fighters with different styles, with those experiences I think pacman's team has already come up with a strategy on defeating Thurman but I would say Thurman is good because he is considered the hardest punchers in his division so he can still be a remarkable opponent.
Matthyse and Broner are also considered a tough fighter with heavy punches although a big factor I consider Thurman great movement in the ring to be the biggest factor, he will just do what Mayweather did to Pacquiao, move a lot and employ a hit and run tactics.

Since I am a Filipino then I wish to win Manny in this match. However, I do not know when Manny will retire. He is already a rich man and even he lose in a game, he still have money. I bet for Manny because I think he would never stop until he gets the rematch in Floyd. So, it would be a tough fight for them on July 2019. Lets get it on!
