Thurman is awesome but he seems to disrespect Manny.

"Pacquiao will disappear on July 20", as Thurman says. I respect the first words he said but he continues with this line, it makes my heart boil. Not only that Manny is from our country but we are supporting him since I knowing him. I won't deny the fact that Thurman is a great boxer, they both are but this is the first time I read that he is furious. You can read all of that here in the link.

I know that Thurman has a big ego and big mouth, but I haven't heard him trash talking like this one. I think he is confident specially when he heard that he is the odd favorites is this fight.

Probably, but they are not force to trash talk their opponent, I never seen Manny doing the trash talk so that only depends on how the boxers feel in the fight. Manny is religious, in fact for those who does not know yet, he is church pastor IIRC, respect the Legend so he will get some respect when he is in the ring.

I saw some fights of Manny before, when he is about to knock down his opponent and he feels he beaten it badly already, he looked at to the refs hoping refs will stop the fight to avoid further damage to his opponent.

But Thurman is a better fighter compared to Broner as this champion is undefeated.
I'm just hoping it's not the same fight like Broner that we are going to witness, I am missing the old opponents of Pacman which are very aggressive and they really make the fight entertaining. I have to admit, the last fight of Manny was really boring, I like to see a real action here, and Thurman has to prove that he is not only good outside the ring.

Just ignore these antics. The trash-talk is all stage-managed to get more attention from the media and the fans. Keith Thurman is someone who is respectful to his opponents. And I don't think that he really disrespects a legend like Manny Pacquiao, especially at this stage. Hopefully it can get them to the target of 1 million PPV views in the United States market.

I'll still go with Manny as experience wise.

I guess most of us here are for Manny in this fight, there's still plenty of time and I like the schedule since in a month I can still bet more on this game as I continue to save for this fight. I have a feeling that if Manny will lose, it would be his last game, so I'd like to bet on that in case, but if he wins, then that's good for boxing and good for his fans. Being underdog does not make me doubt.

No statement from him that this is his last match if ever he losses. I think the pride is still there, just like the last lose that he got. I thought as he said, he's about to retire but no way, he didn't followed his word.

Yeah it doesn't matter if he's the underdog for this match and it's more favorable for the bettors. There were matches like this before and if you are a bettor that doesn't look at it and you know the history of that player, just gamble with your money and let him do the rest.

According to him in one of his interviews, he timing the fight schedule during the senate break, so that means more time for training and he'll be condition.

I like his intention to be a politician and maybe he is not corrupt but I don't see him fit as a senator, most of the senators are Lawyer, Manny has no good background in politics, and he just won because of his popularity. If time will come he'll leave this world, he will be remembered as one of the greatest boxer in the world, but not as a politician. Sometimes if you do a lot of things, you'll loss focus and hopefully they don't take lightly what Thurman can do in the ring, still for Manny in boxing, but not for senate. LOL.

Correct this is the main reason why Pacman still fighting at his age and his busy life at politics, Many has already proved the whole world that he is one of the greatest boxer of his time nothing to prove anymore but the passion on boxing is hard to forget cannot be set aside easily, he is still fighting not because of money its because of its love for boxing and that at the same time for bringing honor and pride for his beloved country.

Looking at Nitrogensports and checked the odds, it looks like the fighting pride of the Philippines Senator Manny Pacquiao is the underdog. The odds are +115 for Manny Pacquiao and -135 for Keith Thurman. If the fight will go until the last round, I think Senator Manny Pacquiao will win. Senator Manny Pacquiaos speed is something that Keith Thurman needs to overcome.

Agreed.Senator Manny Pacquiao has his own undefeated speed that will make his opponents lose in the game.Even if he will fight against a young and good boxer,i think he can still prove that his age is not a hindrance that he will still win from this battle.I salute Manny's focus and determination to win in the game not just for money but he has really good passion in boxing.

Last week, one of my favorite boxers, Gennady “GGG” Golovkin warned Pacquiao against Thurman. Golovkin was hinting at the recent upset by Andy Ruiz Jr. (who KOed Anthony Joshua), and warns Manny not to take Thurman lightly. Apart from GGG, a number of boxers and sports analysts have linked the Ruiz vs Joshua fight with Pacquiao vs Thurman. According to them, there are a lot of similarities.

BTW... anyone interested in a GGG vs Pacquiao fight? Well... it may never happen... just a daydream....
